What a lovely place. We were greeted by the owner's daughter, who couldn't have been any cuter. Our server Arie was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great! I had the warm Caesar salad, which was one of the best I've had. My husband had the Wild Mushroom Burger and loved it. We split the Garlic mushrooms for an appetizer....unbelievable taste. This place is amazing! The coffee is good and you can quickly grab it. The food is really expensive so you can't eat there unless you want to drop a lot of dough. The pastries are good as well. After hiking all morning at Snow Canyon State Park, lunch here was perfect. The dining room was lovely and cool. A roadrunner came right up to the window to greet us! We had the Chai Frappe and chilled Mango drink to start and the Ceasar Wrap and Forage Burger (over romaine instead of buns) for our meal. Both were delicious and filling! I loved the variety of mushrooms in the forage burger, the kale chips instead of traditional fried were awesome and good to my tummy, and the Chai was perfection with just the right amount of spice. I loved their coffee and hot cocoa! I got a blended mocha drink and my boss got a shot of espresso. We went back in for lunch and ordered the fish cake and it was soaked in this sauce. The fish cake itself was dry which was a bummer. My boss and I shared the mushroom burger/sandwich and.....I would stay away from that. For some reason I thought it was going to be a single large mushroom burger but it was just a bunch of cooked mushrooms slopped on bread and covered in cheese. I thought the cheese was too much so I took it off and my boss didn't finish her sandwich. I would definitely go back for their coffee but not for lunch. read more

Hate to say this but overrated. My wife ordered a curry dish which the waiter claimed was not spicy at all and it was very spicy and the fish was over cooked. I had the famous mushroom bacon burger which was very good but the potatoes that came with it were very mediocre. I don't think I would go back. Been coming here for years! Today we asked to have a sandwich without cheese, the waitress replied by saying it was too busy for the kitchen to make any modifactions to the food. I have been to this place at least 100 times and everytime they have been able to accomidate my dairy intolerance. I cant believe they turned down service and wont be returning to Xeteva. Hopefully in the future this problem can be corrected, until then you will be missed. read more

We had 3 generations there for dinner and loved it. Grandpa had pork quesadilla, grandson salmon tacos, dad mahi mahi and grandma beef gyro. It got quiet when the food arrived. We were on vacation in St. George for the week and stopped in for a snack during a cloudy day when we didn't want to risk going for a long hike and getting caught in the rain. We got the sangria, the Hummus plate, and the Royden Lemonade. Everything was fantastic (the Lemonade was light and delicious, the pita was clearly fresh from the oven, the cucumbers and tomatoes were supremely tasty and the hummus was homemade, smooth, and flavorful. Our waiter was great, very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions and the breathtaking view of the mountains just topped it all off. Definitely worth stopping in! read more

So this little restaurant is out in the middle of nowhere in this art gallery mall. Very pretty and eclectic. Their drinks are awesome and great quality (kind of pricey though), but I feel like the execution of their dishes left something to be desired. Their kids menu burger was straight ground beef and nothing else, but it being a kids menu item I wasn't too worried about it. As my family and I worked through our entrees though we all felt the seasonings as a whole were missing. I would definitely take certain visiting family members to this restaurant because I know they would enjoy the ambiance, but I don't think I would make the drive by myself. read more

Most of the table enjoyed their food, when it finally arrived. The chicken caesar salad wrap would have been bland, however I added bacon, and it made all the difference. Our waiter was alive, however that is where his qualifications for serving ends. We asked for waters, he didn't bring them. He DID bring the three chai lattes and a sangria, and managed to spill the sangria all over himself. When my girlfriend asked for her water, again, he got it right away, and spilled some on the table. It took 50 minutes from the time we ordered the food, to the time for two of our party to receive their food, the other two 10 minutes after that. During this time, the table behind us were seated later, and served sooner. Not only that, but their waitress at least acknowledged how long the food was taking, and offered a pita/hummus looking dish to appease them. Meanwhile, one of our party overheard people outside complaining that "nothing could possibly take that long." Two of our party had also experienced similarly poor service on two recent visits. In fact, on one of their visits, they were told the kitchen was closed for 20 minutes, until it caught up with the orders. They couldn't even order a beverage. I'm pretty certain that the readers will understand why we will not be coming back. read more

Between the great new dishes, awesome picks of wine and beer, and scenery like Red Mountain in an awe-inspiring setting like Kayenta....you really just want to stay and keeping sipping your beer. this is a great little spot. we came out to St George to visit some friends (hi Angie and Jay!) and were taken to this off-the-beaten-path spot. its located in this little arts district. when we got there, i was wondering if it was gonna be totally vegan- it just looked like one of those place (dont get your panties in a bunch all my vegan friends...im just saying). i started with a chai tea latte. pretty darn good! for brunch/lunch i had the steak gyro. i was pleasantly surprised! it was delicious. im definitely going back here the next time we're in town. read more

I have eaten here almost a half a dozen times--everything from a quick coffee and snack to a full blown meal--and the place seems to get better and better with each visit. Their dinner entree's are some of best I have ever tried, and have eaten at many of the finest restaurants in New Orleans, San Francisco, and San Diego. Can't tell you what is better--the pork, the pasta, the chicken or the Wigwam--you will have to go in and taste em yourself. Went to dinner here last night because every other St. George restaurant closes at 8pm on a Saturday night. I'm taking to you-Hank's Riverwalk and The Ledges Fish Rock Grille. We had the sangria (red and not too sweet) and a glass of white wine. Nice fancy stemware which is always appreciated when your spending 13$ on a glass. We started with the hummus which was delicious but sadly the tastiest dish of the night. Then we had the cajun sausage and prawn kabobs along with the crab cake. Finished with a yummy chia tea. We went to Xetava two days in a row for lunch. The outside seating is lovely with a great balance of sun and shade. My husband had the pork quesadilla and I had tomato flatbread. The portions are large - we could easily have shared ... so the next day we had the tapenade and the hummus plate. Shared the homemade Oreo for dessert. By far our favorite place in/around St. George! Residents of Kayenta are SO LUCKY to have such a place. Ambiance: 5/5 not fancy but comfortable, homey, and artsy. Personally, indoors is a bit dark for me but their outdoor area is just lovely! Service: 4/5 friendly, but can get a bit slow at times. Food: -Gyro Salad: 4/5 tasty and fresh but felt like something was missing -Green Curry Mahi: 5/5 perfectly executed fish with creamy delicious curry. -Heaven Waffle: 5/5 *perfect* waffle. with shockingly generous portions of fresh berries. -mint lemonade with booze (don't remember the name): 5/5 REFRESHING DELICIOUSNESSSSS!! MUST GET! there were other dishes that I unfortunately cannot recall the names of. but EVERYTHING we had was at least 4/5 goodness.
