Equipment malfunctions, service drops frequently and you can never navigate their customer service call center to speak to a person. I visited this store for the first time. They keep it very neat and tidy. Friendly staff.....originally went in to shop around on plans. Unfortunately, that day there were system issues, so we were unable to finalize on the "contract" at the time. We left for a couple hours and the staff reached out to me via text and phone call to let me know the system was back up so we could finish. read more

I'm not writing about an Xfinity store but about Comcast service appointments that are not honored. We made an appointment to have our service turned on at Ashby Ponds (which has a group account with Comcast). A technician was supposed to come out today to set up our service with two DVR boxes. He never showed up. When we called to ask why not, the person we talked to could not find our information. After providing all that several times and spelling everything several times, the person said they could send a technician out next Thursday at 8:00 AM, an entire week after they were supposed to show up! We finally opted to have them send us the self-setup kit for the two TVs. That will take five business days. I'm not confident that the setup kits will have what we asked for or that they will work but my fingers are crossed. Comcast has a reputation for poor service and they certainly earned it today. read more

After reading previous reviews about this location I was apprehensive about going. I arrived fairly early and the line was to the door. There were 3 representatives working and a lobby full of annoyed customers. One of the representatives was working with a very frustrated customer and could not defuse the situation. He was passed on to another representative to handle his issues. Some customers just wanted to turn in their equipment, which should be easy and painless. Others wanted to pay on their accounts. Then there were the complicated scenarios. I think they should have divided the customers up based on what each required. This may have made things easier. The representatives were not rude or nasty, they were very accommodating and professional. Overall, I had a good experience. read more

Rude rude rude absolutely rude. I am a Comcast customer and so is my brother. My brother works the night shift so I was helping him return a coaxial box and an HD receiver. I got the absolute rudest greeting from "Roxanne" I don't know if that was her real name because she flipped her ID badge. Anyway this miserable Kim Jong Un looking customer service rep spoke in barks and I essentially had to force her to cut me a receipt for returns that I was told to bring to this location by customer service online. If you are a neighborhood fiber customer don't do your returns here, go for the UPS option and don't waste your time with this cringe fest they have going on in One Loudoun, save your self a migraine. read more

Really pleased with the new service. Home internet ranges anywhere from 150Mbps to 350Mbps, all must faster than my old service. I was also able to get this with a modem that I bought myself. I also got a rebate from my credit card for adding service that paid for the installation. For Mobile, service is so much better than my old service b/c of Verizon's network MVNO. Also the deal that this store got me for prepaid cars, to trade-in, to free phones was amazing. Couldn't be more pleased. I think Xfinity is trying to get more members and I'm happy to benefit from their incentives. No complaints. Just got notice of the first of two prepaid cards being sent to me. read more

If you want to get treated bad go there, the manager and his employee of the year Carlos are rude, not cooperating, the latter one gave us wrong information about buying a not in stock in Ashburn phone and bring it in to swap, nothing worked, we lost $335, and they were both just rude, we are Xfinity customers in different states since 15 years, but got never treated bad like this branch, when I was to close standing to his booth, he commanded me to step back I felt like back in the army the first week when the teach you how yo obey. read more

You would assume that visiting the Xfinity store as a customer would be helpful, however, the management team at One Loudoun makes even the simplest request a total headache. When I turned in remotes from a prior residence, the female store manager helped me. She provided me a receipt as confirmation that I returned the remotes, but she didn't fully finish the return in their database, thus I was subsequently charged for items I no longer owned. I returned to the shop a second time to acquire a modem. When the salesperson was having trouble attaching the equipment to my account, he asked the manager who had previously screwed up my account for help. Unsurprisingly, even though I only requested one modem, I received three in the mail. Management lacks fundamental client requirements expertise and is in serious need of corporate training. read more

Changed to Verizon fios and love it. The service is excellent. They did exactly what they said they would do. Showed up on time. The quality of the internet is so much better. Better selection of programs. Was able to get 4 x faster internet and international channels for less than what I was paying at xfinity. Plus the people are pleasant to talk to. Went in to return my rented modem. It was broken, although I do not know why I was stupid enough to have been paying to rent one from them for all this time. Wow! That was easy! Not a thing I thought I'd say about Comcast. I moved and my new home was blacklisted due to a previous tenant skipping out on a huge bill years ago. I couldn't set up service online or on the phone. I had to take my lease to the store with my photo ID. I had to prove I'm not that person. Sooo irritating! On top of this, it was in the mid-90s today too, so miserable! I went to the xfinity store with my lease and ID ready to do battle. I was warmly greeted by Leslie Sprauve and he set about fixing my problem. I'm 20 minutes the problem was fixed, I had my account and install date. Pros: If you actively manage data you can really keep the cost of the service down compare with other providers. But is does take effort. You can take your own iPhone. It is the Verizon network so coverage is good. Cons: Cannot transfer Android phone (say they are working on it) Cannot transfer from one XFINITY account to another. You have to buy a new phone and have a new line / number. e.g. Young adult sets up their new home, couple splits up etc. You heard it right. XFINITY cannot do internal transfers. Although the phones automatically switch to XFINITY hotsspots, the coverage is spotty (one minute you are connected, the next you are not). On many occasions it shows I am connected but I have not internet service. Speed is usually very poor and to get internet service at reasonable performance I end up turning off wifi and using cellular, defeating the low cost data objective. Recommendation: Avoid until XFINITY has worked out these issues and can provide quality basic services. read more

Here is why: Client care at the office is Alway courteous and obviously recovers very good training. We upgraded to xfinity system. It has a few draw backs. No lights on the remote- no FF or Rew on non dvr boxes . I called in a service call to tweak the system; their tech arrived on time, was pleasant, corrected a few errors and called into the business office and put us in direct touch with the team debugging Xfinity. I had comcast/Xfinity for cable and internet for 2 years. Due to where I lived there was no other internet provider in my area. I changed some of my cable and kept my internet for an addtional 14 months when I moved. I was not under any contract with them. Low and behold I get the final bill with an early termination fee added. I have explained to them until I am blue in the face that I did not agree to an additional 2 yrs, as I have seen on many credit reports in my line of business that they put people in collection for this fee. You would think the amount of money they receive monthly for all of those that are signed up with them that they do not need this termination fee, but they still charge it, whether or not you have fulfilled your end or not. I would rather go without internet then use Comcast/xfinity ever again. Worst customer service ever. read more

I'm sure everyone with Comcast has had a complaint or bad experience at some point but I thought it was important to share a good experience as well. I needed to upgrade my cable box to an HD box and had tried to go through the online interface to no avail. After debating trying to call and wait on the phone for at least 45 minutes I decided to just take my box strait to the Comcast store off Red Rum and see what happened. I walked in and there was no line. Already off to a good start. Dorien at the desk was very helpful in finding my information and getting me setup with a new box. He also explained all the additional things about how my bill would change and went over the new channels with me. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes. If you are having any issue with Comcast I would definitely consider going to the store first rather than having an hour long phone wait drain your energy and patience, especially if you are just looking to upgrade or change equipment. I can't post this without giving it one star, it doesn't deserve, so disregard that star. First it took 3 days for you guys to install the service, two different technicians, one had to come out twice. That was 3 days we went without any cable and we were never compensated for the installation fee, amazing customer service. We have had to "reboot" at least 7 times a week, for over a year, and anytime we purchase a movie, it will cut out every 25 minutes and we have to rewind the movie once it comes back. we just spent $5.99 on a movie that cut out too many times to count. I want a credit. Just paid off $377 account, will NEVER purchase anything from you guys, we will use Netflix or Amazon. Please let your IT department know that "rebooting" does nothing, since that's the only help they have ever given to us, maybe they should know that. Soooo, I went to the xfinity store in ashburn as I ordered new services. The package was more channels Wi-Fi, and internet for $89 monthly. I had to get a new cable box. I exchanged the box and left the store. On the way home, an employee named Christina called me and said there was a deal for Wi-Fi at my complex, so she cancelled my order!! I never got the channels I wanted and now I pay more for the Wi-Fi services. I sent in emails, was contacted by someone who never bothered emailing back. When there is another service available, I will get it, as these people suck!! Who cancels someone's order but still charges them?? Bottom line they created a railroad to keep their profits rolling, and the rest of us are just left with no options. Take it or leave it. Xfinity is probably the worst internet/tv service maybe one of the worst services period. If any other product or service worked this little I'd discontinue it. Unfortunately there isn't another option in my area. I'm under the impression that they know this and continue to do nothing. With as connected as everything is these days if even consider moving to another area to open up more options. If I could do no stars I would. Terrible customer service. I have been having issues with on demand, Internet connection, and cable service since December. The first tech who came out was awesome but couldn't fix the problem he said a bad wiring is causing all the issues and a special tech needed to come out. Three appointments later and 2 months later still not fixed. The last 3 appointments no one showed up. The first one I got a call saying they scheduled the wrong appointment. We make mistakes understandable. The next no one showed no one called. I called multiple times was told someone was on there way and have requested dispatch to call me. Nothing. The next morning i called and got the run around again. Finally someone got some answers supposedly they came and no ome answered but they knocked on a red door. I dont have a red door. Rescheduled once again. thirdappointment 2/10, no call no show. I call we will have a supervisor come out at 1pm. 1 30pm no one no call. Call again threaten to report to BBB. Guess what a dispatcher calls me saying they can't make it can come tomorrow. I told him I work someone needs to come now he said I'll see what I can do and call you back. 5pm no one has called me back and yes I have reported to FCC and BBB. Done with comcast. read more

Service was off the entire day and now 10 days later it is off again. Expected to be back on at 12:36 - the same time first quoted on the 19th. Had fios for 4 years and never lost all three services at once. Have had Xfinity for 7 months and have now twice lost Internet, TV and phone. I've never been more disgusted with the incompetence of an organization. I cancelled COMCAST on 2/7/2015. They picked up ALL of their equipment on 2/12/2015. COMCAST sent me to a collection agency stating I did NOT return the modem. I have a copy of the receipt showing that the modem was one of the pieces of equipment that they did pick up. Now I am still receiving calls from the collection agency stating I owe Comcast for this equipment. I have spoken with COMCAST who state there is NO BALANCE DUE and that they have cleared the account. They state that it will take 30 days for the credit agency to clear their books. They also state that I must drive to COMCAST'S Red Rum Drive location to prove that I returned all equipment and owe nothing. They would NOT provide a fax number or email address so I could send a copy of my receipt. So once again the customer is being inconvenienced because of the organization's total incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction. read more

We moved into our house in May and had Comcast for our cable provider and our internet provider. We have had over 8 technicians come out to our house to attempt to improve our service to no avail. The cable service is entirely unavailable at our location despite the fact that we are living in an urban setting. We live practically next to the downtown area. We had cable installed but they could never fix the problem of having reliable cable service. Our internet service continues to go out every single time it rains. We have called Comcast repeatedly and they have come out, repeatedly, only for it to go out again once it rains. Each technician is more incompetent than the one before! There's no other ISP in our area and it isn't like we live 200+ miles from civilization! If there was any other ISP we would have gone with them. Comcast is entirely unreliable and has broken their contract with us over and over again. read more
