I came here today to show proof that I was moving into an apt that already showed Comcast service. I was acknowledged within a minute of walking in and my name was put in the system. This place is definitely busy. Most of the customers seem educated about Comcast in general. They had little booths setup for express pay as well. The wait was about 40 minutes and the nice lady, Carolyn was fast and thorough. I saw a couple people looking annoyed and others reading books or playing on their phones. The place has air conditioning and has only a hand full of Comcast people. Their crowd control could definitely use some help. I don't think the greeter probed enough because I could see the look of frustration in some people. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with new service to start next Sunday. I'm thrilled I'll be getting 50mbit download. I have never seen internet that fast! I had a pleasant experience. I know there is no easy way to wait for TV/Internet service when almost everyone and their mothers are in that store. Go during the week before or after lunch. You will still have to wait, but not as long. Bring a book or play on your phone. You'll be good to go! read more

The secret to success is to get there EARLY! I arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday morning and there was already 3 ppl in line ahead of me. By the time they opened the door 15 mins later(and not a moment before 9) there was another dozen or so behind me. My Mission: Return equipment Their Mission: Keep me from doing it I had cut my cable a week earlier and spent literally 4 hours on the phone trying to get things shut off and a new modem installed. The nice young gent I was assigned to asked the questions yet again and tried to get me to stay and take additional services. I declined, then there was another.. well if "we" do this... I very nicely told him... If I was able to pay what you do for phone, cable and internet I would keep it. He became very aware that he wasn't going to talk me into keeping a few hundred dollars worth of services. He didn't persist and once I showed him the 4 hours of calls on my cell phone, gave me a credit for that time as well. I couldn't blame the guy for trying because its his job. I was happy that he finally took no for an answer and had me out of there in 15 mins. As far as the service I have had at this location, it's always been pleasant and once you actually get to someone it usually goes pretty fast. Face to Face customer service is no fun. Crappy service. Every time I have to deal with Comcast it's like pulling teeth. They make you stand outside no matter if it's cold hot or in between to wait for someone to be available. Stood outside in chilly weather with the wind blowing for 5-6 minutes just so someone can be freed up. You can see employees walking around freely inside but no one is available to help you still. I gave up all they had to do was scan my equipment, take it back & hand me my receipt. I went to the Northfield store & for once it felt like Comcast actually cared. Literally took me 2 minutes to do an exchange. Didn't have to wait in a line, didn't have to wait outside in chilly weather, didn't have to be stressed out over something so simple. It is COVID that makes some things just aggravating and inconvenient. I had to make some changes to my service and I was concerned about getting there and having to wait and then be rushed out. I found that I could make an appointment to see someone and it was really easy to do that and when I got there at the door, an employee had a tablet with all of the appointments for the day and was really polite about asking me to wait for another few minutes. Not a problem. A rep came out and got me and took me in and we got right to work on changing my plan. My experience excellent. If I could give zero stars for this location and the call center I would! Over the last few days the lack of customer service provided has been awful! My issues have yet to be resolved and their only solution is to upgrade my connection speed. Strange how it was working just fine a couple days ago.....I am now paying for a service that I don't have and nobody will help. Someone called last week offering me cable channels, hot spot, and a faster connection for double what I pay now. Comcast SUCKS 1! Big rip off. Pay for 100 Mbps and get 35 on Netflix speed test and 32.87 on speedtest.net. They hook you with a $69.99 monthly bundle bill and as soon as your "year contract" is up your bill will be $200 a month and you don't get what you pay for to begin with. REALLY!! The worst customer service in the world. Showed up Friday afternoon at 2 pm. Waited 5 minutes before I found out who to give my name to. Looked up at he screen and was at the bottom of the list. Waited for a hour then realized that their was still 35 people before me. Yes the list was five pages long. There was only THREE customer service people waiting on us. They did have someone dusting, cleaning the doors and general cleaning. There was another employee bringing boxes to the back, another employee in the back cubical on the computer and several in the back room. Avoid this store at all costs. Horrible customer service. Told 20-25 min wait was there for two hrs & was still not helped. Came to store to upgrade tv box that was set up online. It looked like there were 5-6 people working but all but 2 at a time were in the back of the store. After 2 hr wait I asked for my old equipment back. When I got home they had not returned the full power cable so back to the store I went to get the rest of cable. After another short wait I got a cable that I was told would work. Get home to hookup old box, it will not power on. By this time the store is closed. Called customer service to trouble shoot box. Trouble shooting was unsuccessful. I went in on Saturday, knowing full well that there would be a wait. So when they said it would be an hour-ish wait, we were fine with it. However, that's when the problems began. All we needed to do was return the Xfinity Modem/Router since we have our own. At first the lady checking people in wanted to "hold on" to the box, and they would get it scanned in and reported on the account "within 10 business days". Meaning we would continue being charged for an item we didn't have. She also said our own personal equipment wasn't working on the account, even though we had already activated it (prior to coming to Xfinity) and it was working just fine. So we decided to bypass her and wait for an actual agent to help us. At this point, she again tried to "hold on" to the modem, but someone had already walked by and picked it up. So she had to go find it, which was a HUGE red flag as to why we didn't trust her with it. She got annoyed that we wouldn't leave it with her, so we ended up just walking out. When we did finally get helped (65 minutes later), the new lady was much nicer, but she wouldn't stop trying to upsell me on every product she could think of. She also struggled to explain why my bill dropped only $4, instead of the $13/month for the rental charges. Which I still have yet to figure out. This is the first time we've had Comcast, but we can 100% see why they have the worst reviews. read more

For a brief shining moment a couple of years ago comcast suddenly had good customer service. Well, I guess they are over that flirtation with quality. went in today to return the peacock equipment I almost never use. (They are going to start charging for it, I read.) I had no appointment. The intake lady at the front of the store said two people were ahead of me. I got over to the designated waiting area and the people in line at the door just ahead of me were already being helped. They had a dog with them - but that's another issue. They are finished up in about five minutes, got their receipt and on their way. The guy who had been helping them apparently went to the back room (on break?). I never got a greeting when I entered the equipment return waiting area. Hard to tell employees from the customers. I waited about 10 minutes - 20 minutes altogether. I had other things to do and left. Good work life balance the Comcast employees have, I suppose. Possibly make an appointment??? I know from years of experience that customer service can be stressful, and I don't how many customers the guy on break had already helped. Trying to get advice or answer via the chatbot is a new level of hell. Hard to tell what to do to get satisfactory service from Comcast. Some questions don't have answers, I guess. read more

Comcast deserves a bump up in rating for the customer service I experienced this evening at their Aurora location. I was fully expecting a horrific DMV like experience with a less than pristine interior with long wait times and unpleasant people. Instead I was immediately greeted by a young woman who said ever so politely "Welcome to Comcast, how may I help you". She added me to the queue and told me the wait was going to be approximately 15-20 minutes. I joked with her for a moment because I didn't believe her, there were so many people waiting, the wait time seemed so optimistic for what was realistic. True to her word, 15 minutes later my name was called and everything went off without a hitch. Five minutes with a customer service representative and everything was completed and off I went. If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have believed it. I've been loyal to Comcast for years and with this step up for in-store assistance I will definitely continue my patronage. Kudos Comcast for a job well done. read more

This place is magical. In a bad way. Like it's so bad I'm not even mad, I'm just impressed. It takes conscious effort for something like this. It's a DMV of TV service stores. You can't get away from the long wait times, they will just happen. Don't fight it; just bring a book or something to do, go when you have some extra time (I got off work early today) and be ready to wait. The wait is the reason for this low rating, but I must give the 2nd star for how quick and calm the attendants at least appear to be. There's simply just too much volume. Comcast makes so much money they just need to invest in more stores. And don't even try the phone based customer service; they're literally a complete waste of your time. There. Everything you've read here is true. This is a nightmare, plain and simple. Comcast/Xfinity, whatever you call yourself these days, get it together! Recognize you have a problem on your hands when your store is packed (standing room only) and you have three people working at a snail's pace. There is no urgency to help anyone. To make matters worse, the layout is extremely confusing. I walked in and stood for a minute or so trying to figure out where to go. There are no lines, no signage, just gobs of people milling around. It's a zoo. Finally, someone came and took my name. He said they'd call when an associate was available. I asked if he could give me an approximate wait time. Um, no. Just have a seat. Really? Where is an empty seat in this place? This store reminds me of the emergency waiting room at a city hospital. You know how people bring the entire family on those outings? Some families even packed snacks for the trip. That turned into "fun" when kids kept stomping on my feet and grabbing me with sticky, gummy hands for balance. There was whining, crying, diaper changing, you name it. I saw it all in my 1 hour and 40 minute wait to be helped. If Comcast offered a more reliable product the store wouldn't look like this. Since they don't, they need to work on providing excellent customer service. This experience had me longing for a dish. Ugh! read more

I haven't used Comcast services in almost 2 years. I've had it before, but since my lady works for Dish, we've used them for TV and Comcast strictly for internet before. But after a complicated series of events, we had to switch back to Comcast for everything. When we signed up, we opted to go into a store and pick up our equipment so we could get started right away. The last time I went to a Comcast service center, it was a slightly depressing experience. The center was a dingy DMV looking office, where you had to stand in line and deal with less than enthusiastic service employees. So when I went in this past weekend, I was very pleasantly surprised by the changes that Comcast (now really known as Xfinity) has made. The whole thing reminded me of a cell service store. When you walk in, you're greeted with someone with a tablet, who gets your name and what you need, and will check you in. They add you to the queue, which is easily visible on TVs around the store so you can know your place in line. The store has plenty of comfortable places to sit, TV going, and iPads where you can try out their extended services. In general, the whole experience is much, much improved and more comfortable. The wait was really short-we were in at 3 PM on a Saturday and were helped within 5 minutes of arriving and checking in. The customer service rep we talked was polite and efficient. They quickly looked up our account, excused themselves to the back room, and were back with all our equipment in literally about a minute. They verified we had everything we needed, and gave it all to us in a pretty nice tote bag. Overall, Comcast has really, really stepped up their service and the experience of going in to pick up/exchange equipment and deal with billing. You don't have to dread going into a customer service center anymore! read more

Are you waiting to get a table to eat or just to talk to someone about your Comcast account? There is a lack of organization in the new Comcast offices and more irate people than the staff knows what to do inside. Whether you come in at 10am or 4pm, the lines are at least 45 minutes and have seen as bad as 2 hrs waiting to talk someone or exchange equipment. Be very careful what you agree to with the agents inside the place as they take a I guess or ummm as a yes to a change on your account which could cost you hundreds of dollars. Dish and Direct TV do a better job helping their customers than Comcast, but not much better. You feel as if you are a steer being led into a stall when you go to the location, a number and nothing more. The best advice is choosing your service over the phone and have the equipment mailed to you. Read the fine print multiple times on your bill, and be wary of the bundles because of the strings involved. read more

I recently felt the desire to transfer our land phone and our two mobile phones from Verizon to Xfinity. Sound simple? Xfinity claims that it is. I'm here to tell you that it isn't. Although I'm 90, and in reasonably good physical and mental health, the steps needed to complete the deal were beyond me and I had to ask our daughter to take over the process. As a final step in completing the transition we (husband, daughter and myself) needed to get Xfinity sim cards for our two mobile phones. We all went to the Xfinity store on Ironton St. in Aurora to obtain the sim cards. Rory was the salesperson who "helped" us. Supposedly he should have been able to do whatever he had to do to activate our phones, but after trying for quite a long time, he told us he could not activate my husband's phone, because it was incompatible with Xfinity! Regardless, we now had to resort to alternative measures to get his phone activated. My husband could ask his daughter to put him on her plan with Verizon, but he felt uncomforable doing that. So I continued trying to get his phone activated with Xfinity in spite of what Rory had told us. In the end I was successful and it all finally worked out, but the whole transaction really took a serious toll on my trust and confidence in Xfinity employees. Oops! How could I have forgotten to mention Nico! My first contact with Xfinity was with Nico, a very pleasant man who appeared to know everything I thought I needed to know. My main concern was that I didn't want to talk to Verizon about cancelling my service. Nico assured me I would never have to talk to them again! Whew, big relief. However, 30 days later I received a bill from Verizon. Our service had never been terminated! Oh, and I don't live in California! I live in Aurora, Colorado. read more

I don't know what is going on but the past couple days my on demand would freeze and today I have no cable or wifi. So when I came there today they said some wires were cut so they're repairing it while I'm typing this review. I asked one of the workers why should my family pay for someone's error? They gave me a number to get refunded for the days this has been going on. If the company has no cable and wifi in their shop shouldn't that be their job!? read more

I came in on Friday to pick up my equipment that I ordered over the phone. Walking in I had 21 people in front of me. 45 minutes later and some great angry people watching I got called up. I needed to switch my address before I connected my equipment and they couldn't find my address. This was my fault as the company lease was given to me incorrectly. After 20 minutes of being helped...we finally got settled and got my equipment. My staff lady was very nice and helpful. The only downfall was that they gave me the wrong cable box!! I asked for a hd DVR box and they gave me a regular had one. I had to come back two days later after the box didn't work. Come not on a weekend. Save yourself the time. read more

He also offered a promo on my plan to upgrade my mps for the same price for a year. This location is great! Lots of available parking. I live in Denver and work in Aurora. I walked in to the store, and after a short wait, the equipment was returned and our monthly bill adjusted correctly. With the Corona Virus all around, I was impressed at how they had the store laid out, and people helping you be in the right space at the right time. read more

New space offers a nice environment. Location is easy to find. Staff is friendly. The only issue is that, like more customer help centers, they are way under-staffed. On a Thursday at 1pm, had over a 30-min wait to just pick up some new equipment. I would hate to see what it is like on an evening or weekend. read more

The people were friendly and the actual return process was pretty quick, however I did have to wait quite a while to get called. Melissa at the door was extremely rude. I am here to pick up equipment. At other stores they try to assign people based on task, so people getting equipment can get in and out, etc. I asked this and before the question was out of my mouth she interrupted me and said, "I have other people to check in... I don't have time." This literally just happened and is a direct quote. Rude and unprofessional. I understand there is a line, but if a customer has a valid question maybe let them fully ask it and then answer. read more
