My initial experience here was an easy five stars. I was initially very pleased with the service and the staff. I didn't have to wait in line and my needs were quickly addressed. I was there to get an upgraded cable box for my dad. Super easy. I just swapped out the old one for the new one. I even was given a live tutorial on how to use it. I was super pleased. Then I got home and it didn't work. It turns out I would also need to upgrade the main DVR in order to use it. My father is 92 and a different DVR was not something he wanted to learn how to use. So I go back to the Xfinity store and was given a little attitude when I wanted to swap back for the old version. No apologies for not letting me know the box they gave me wouldn't work with my dad's DVR. So I get back home and the brand new box, still in the package and it didn't work! I had the choice of going back to the Xfinity store for the third time or having a tech come over. I chose the tech because I wanted to be sure it would work. The tech came over two days later and it turned out the power cord was bad which is a common issue with that box the tech said. It would have been nice if they could have been sure the equipment was in working order and compatible before they sent me home with it. It would have saved everyone a lot of time and trouble. I still think it's a nice store and the service is good if you're going there for something simple.

Well, it's 15 minutes before it opens and there are 20 people waiting outside. Pathetic service and they need to extend their hours.

This Xfinity is the worst. It always has the longest wait times. Employees talk about the customers in awful ways.

I posted a request for flatscreen tv installation service a little past midnight Friday night/Saturday morning, and expected to begin receiving replies first thing in the morning. I was surprised to receive a reply from Get Smart Home less than 5 minutes later asking qualifying questions. Five minutes after replying I received a quote and commitment to install two TVs on Saturday. Vlad and Stasia text me 35 minutes before the installation appointment to alert me they were on the way. They arrived on time and immediately impressed me with their professionalism: they were courteous, well mannered, personable, knowledgeable and fully prepared with the necessary tools, supplies, blankets to lay the TVs on, and booties to cover their shoes. They reviewed the TVs and desired mounting locations, asked questions about my preferences, made recommendations, set expectations, then went to work. They were efficient -- finishing both installations and cleaning up within an hour -- and most importantly, delivered results that again exceeded expectations. I am impressed with the quality of Vlad and Stasia's work and the excellent experience of working with them. I recommend Get Smart Home without reservation and will be relying on their expertise and services for my upcoming home automation projects.

When it was apparent the new receiver would not fit our cabinet, we asked that he just cut out the back wall to fit. (Our old console was particle board.) Well, turns out THIS cabinet was over 1" thick solid and he went out to buy a thicker saw blade! But never complained. It took 5 hours, not 2, and he came back for second visit to program the remotes. Vlad is very patient, courteous, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. He offers dealer pricing on components but even sent us a Best Buy link when the same item was cheaper. If you need anything done too your home electronics, gIve him a call.

Please note: Devon continues to harass and threaten us so we called the police again to file a…read moreformal complaint against him to protect ourselves and our home. The case number is listed below in the county it was filed. Devon Perry is a young business owner that does not honor his promises. He did three projects in our house and never completed any of them, nor did he return a deposit of $750 for a project that could not be completed in our 20 year old house. He referred us to his friend Isaiah to complete this job who told us the equipment would not work and advised against it. Devon is now referring to him as someone I hired who could not do a good job and takes no responsibility for recommending equipment that failed. We worked diligently trying to get him to do the right thing and he ignored us, was rude and refused to return our money. My husband and I finally posted reviews of his theft and poor service. He responded saying I have mental and drug issues. Further, he threatened both of us...."I know where you live...karma is a bitch". We have reported him to the local police and are posting here in case he is foolish enough to bring harm to our house, Do not hire Devon unless you want to deal with a very disturbed young man who has no desire to treat his customers fairly and is merely in it for the money regardless of how he treats people.
