I have Internet and Phone mobile service with Xfinity. I was trying to cancel my internet service at the store in Serramonte mall yesterday. They told me that my phone bill for each line will be increase by $25 monthly because of I am cancelling the internet service. I have 4 lines with them. Total will be $100 monthly bill. This Store is trying to make money from service cancelation. Then, they told me to cancel the phone mobile service, if I don't want to increase the bill. I don't know why they completely do not want any business from me. After I went back to my home, I found out that I won't be get any extra charge by internet cancellation from Xfinity Live Agent. Listen on everything, I am not a ra cist. But This literally got me so worked up!! I go in person for help in regards of cancelling my service. They take my modem and then they direct me to call customer service instead of solving my issue right then in there in store. They couldn't because something about authorization on the account. I know someone can solve the issue like come on man. (LAZY AHH STORE WORKERS) (BUT I GET IT, ITS XFINITY... ) So I call customer service, tell them my issue and this Indian guy completely gives me the hardest time of my life and scolds me like a child! (I thought it was kinda funny, but I needed an answer for cancelling my service ffs.) So he didn't help at all, and hangs the phone up "GOOD BYE!" Like he slammed it on me. Wanted to migrate from Comcast Business to Xfinity. But apparently, Comcast Business was a trigger word for them. Once they heard that, they were dismissive and kept reiterating that I need to talk to them. If they took the time to listen, they would have learned they could have set up the migration from Comcast Business to Xfinity for me. Andrew was very helpful getting me a wifi router. Very polite and informative and I was in n out of the store very quickly.

Rude, dismissive, and disrespectful are words used in other people's reviews for the workers at this Xfinity store. I find this to be pretty accurate. I noticed that most of the workers at this store are young guys 18 y/o to mid 20s (look like they barely graduated high school), that treat their customers extremely poorly. Was watching a worker get extremely impatient with a few elderly women that were just trying to figure their situation out, but he was raising his voice at them completely unnecessarily. He eventually noticed that other people were watching, and might have been embarrassed as he calmed down a bit. In addition, the guy "helping" us was feeding us incorrect information that contradicted things that support on live chat agent/phone agent/website. It seemed like he was willing to say anything to get us out of there and go on his smoke break. Really considering switching services. I don't know why Comcast is so difficult to work with. They tried to get me to ad my cell phone to the package but our TV, internet, power, goes out usually during every store so, no. They've just increased my great package deal to $238!!! I'm living on disability & I'm a full-time unpaid caregiver to my mom. There's no way we can afford this, and eat. After decades with another provider I finally made the switch to Xfinity. I'm saving a total of almost $200 for cable and mobile services and grabbed a great deal for NFL Sunday ticket through them. I give high marks to the xfinity mobile store in Serramonte, specifically Allen Chen Sales Consultant and Yenifer Mendoza Castillo, manager extraordinaire. I had an appointment and unlike other places they actually served me on time. I appreciated the fact they listened to me, and made the switch painless. They communicated directly with my former provider and went through the same challenges I endured over the years. But that didn't stop them. I came today after recommended by my Xfinity technician who came to my house 2 days ago to update the box equipment. My purpose was to ask about the new modem router, I saw it when I went to my friend house and ask to go over my current package to see if I could add or remove and update. When we came, there was no greetings, when I approach the lady, she didn't smile, her voice is so soft and low, I have to ask her to repeat a few times. She didn't seem to want to help, I regret to even approach her in the first place. But anyway,.. I asked her a few questions that probably too complicated for her to answer, she got upset and asked me not to ask too many question and to read beforehand. Excuse me princess, your job is to explain to me when I don't understand why there's an unidentify set up top box when I get them replaced 2 days ago. Your tone is belittling and I hope you know that's disrespectful. Her manager came to check up on her, because we take way too long according to her. I'm like, oh, should I talk to the manager if you can't help? She finally put a smile and said she'd help me. I'm dealing with a child, it's unfortunate. In my years in dealing with customer service, Comcast Xfinity is always the worst over the phone a few years ago, it got better a little bit. I thought I'd get better help from a live person to explain about the service, but obviously not. No, I have no intention to put that young lady to shame, but if you ever read this review, you should learn to listen to your customer, sometimes we know what we want, sometimes we don't. I came in to return a box yesturday and was met with a mean looking woman that made me feel uncomfortable. But whatever, I just needed a receipt. Jose waited on me, an unbeleivablely reinstated my faith in xfinity. He was friendly, intelligent, and had all the elements to become not only a manager, but the CEO of Comcast for the great attitude and customer service he gave. I've been a customer since 1980 before exchanging many hands and corporations. I asked to talk to the manager to praise Jose and he was as friendly. The location is convenient. The staff is courteous and professional, yet mistakes still happen. I'm being billed for equipment I returned to this location in September 2021. Perhaps I caused this entire issue by returning my security cameras and not understanding the contract. But that's why I expect the trained experts to direct me according to their company policy and explain the right way to do things. Somehow that didn't occur and now I'm left with a $600+ overdue balance. I will NOT pay for equipment or services I no longer have. Again, this should be an simple fix, but additionally I have been receiving harassing calls, accusing me of owing for installation fees and not for equipment. It doesn't seem like their "team" is playing for the same captain? Sadly, I cannot give the rating the staff there actually deserves, minimum 4-stars. I surprisingly had a very pleasant and efficient experience at this store tonight. So today I decided to cut the cord and end cable service and just stick with internet. I was greeted by a man at the front when I came in, he asked for my name and a few moments later I sat down with one of the service reps. I told him what I wanted to do and he was very courteous. He helped me upgrade my service a higher speed and save money on my monthly bill. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I'm just pleasantly surprised and happy at how great the experience was and knowing how Comcast can take hours on the phone.
