Where to begin with this shady place. Returning my Apple Watches was literally impossible. It makes no sense. I must've wasted 40 or so hours talking on the phone with people in Egypt who would assure me I could go into the brick and mortar here in Eugene and return the watches, only for the staff in Eugene to tell me it's "IMPOSSIBLE," their words not mine, to return the product I purchased from them at the store, then they would sit me down on a tele-session at the store with someone in Egypt, who would tell me they would send me a return label via, only for it to never materialize in my email, I had to go through the whole weird conversation with Egypt again where they would do everything possible to tell me I had to go to the store. When it finally materialized in my email, I was told, BY THE PEOPLE AT THE STORE, to go to FedEx and show them the label. At FedEx, I was told they NEVER ship Xfinity and cannot scan the barcode on the shipping label Xfinity emailed me. This is from the Manager at FedEx. Is it a scam? Terrible retail experience: there is no simple way to just buy a thing there. I went there to buy some internet equipment. I walked in, found what I was looking for, and went to purchase it. They needed to "check me in," took my name and phone number. Then I was told to take a seat and wait - 75 minutes. The two check-in agents were available but there is no register at the front. Neither had the initiative to find an open terminal in the store and just check me out. I left without buying anything. Serious question: how badly does a store need to be run for someone to walk in ready to pay money for a thing you are selling and not be able to do so? read more

Ive been a long time customer of Xfinity. Ive always felt they were misleading and deceptive in most ways but you got the best product. They have overcharged me for 3 years now for my cell phone bill. I have 2 cell phones and was charged for 3. I found this out almost a year ago and contacted them and asked them to fix this. They fixed one month and continued to charge me for a 3rd line for this past year. I contacted them multiple times and there was something wrong with my sim card. All managers i have spoken to refuse to refund me the money even after admitting guilt. They wont even refund me since last may after I informed them of the issue. It seems like theft to me. I will NEVER use comcast/xfinity again and i urge you all to do the same. My new goal is to lose them as many customers as i can. So please come join me in my fight against Xfinity. read more

Have always had great customer service when I've gone inside. When you call customer service you get a robot. That's why I go inside.

This is based on a call, not necessarily a store, but I had to say SOMEthing. Spoke with a rep named Kevin about changing addresses and lowering my price after years with them. Kevin was fun and personable, even laughing with me about the portion of the call where a robot has to deliver pre-recorded disclosures. Ended up basically halving my bill and answering all my questions. A call that could have been an absolute chore was instead a genuine pleasure. Kevin deserves a raise. And I will continue with Xfinity for a long time more, for their genuinely good internet services, and consistent positive interactions like I had with Kevin! read more

The store reps couldn't even help me with the primary account information, they couldn't assist me with my billing issue and I was directed to their god awful phone support. Long time internet user of theirs. Brand new to the Mobile as of 2 weeks ago. I was told in the store once I was set up that I could change my ACH to whatever date I needed it to be. I expressed how important this was to me before picking out my phone and signing my contract. Now after 3 hours on the phone with xfinity mobile speaking to 8 different reps. Number 6 said it was done. But apparently after being put on hold for 25 minutes he didn't do anything. What company that is supposed to be technically advanced can't change a flipping billing cycle! I wouldn't have signed up with them if I had known I couldn't change the billing or at least the ACH date. I would have went with someone else or would have come back a different day so their billing cycles would have match my pay period. This is absolutely ridiculous that I will have to manually pay my bill every single month until my end of contact so I don't have to pay a restocking fee and go elsewhere. read more

I went there with the lowest of low expectations after I first tried to call to set up service and read these reviews. The first time I tried to call in and ask questions about the different plans, the guy acted like I was an idiot and was imposing on his time. The phone disconnected after I finally got to ask my question. The next guy could not be more helpful. I went to the store a few days later and was not expecting much. There were 6 people ahead of me waiting to get in. When they open the doors, we were greeted by a bunch of employees. The employee that helped me was very nice and helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions and was very knowledgable. I was in and out within 5 minutes. read more

Trying to update business accounts from one name to another and the guy working up front was extremely rude. I've been waiting on an email with a ticket for 5 days and still nothing. Not to many time I say Xfinity did a great job and I'm impressed with there support but this time I can. I wasn't able to pay my bill and I kept on getting late charges because I couldn't get into my account. I tried calling Xfinity to see if I could do it over the phone but they were no help, so I decided to go into the store. Don't fault the store just because Xfinity sucks. I've always found this store to be clean, comfortable, and staffed with kind and helpful employees. I have far better luck getting help and what I actually need from them than I do when I call in to Xfinity. These days I avoid calling if at all possible and just make the drive to the store. Rudest customer service I have ever experienced. I'm working to help my mother with dementia and I'm admittedly overwhelmed. Under that situation, I went to the Xfinity Store on Valley River Way in Eugene, Oregon after trying for hours to get the correct tech support that I needed through the ai robot that Xfinity requires you to use when calling their 800 number. That process put me through a spiral of information that I did not need. So I tried to call our local store in hopes of contacting the tech guy who helped install our system. Xfinity no longer allows you to call the store or any human by phone, so I had to drive to the store. When I walked in, frustrated, I prefaced the conversation with an apology and told the woman at the counter that I had been having a hard time because of all the previous issues mentioned. She just looked at me with a hardened face braced for a fight. I said it was frustrating that I could not call the store and reach a human anymore. With a bratty attitude told me they don't do that anymore because they would just be a call center and they couldn't do anything else. (Personally I think it would be a great for Xfinity to go back to having a call center that actually offered valuable service and didn't require people to use their gas and time to go to the store.) I tried to ignore her attitude and gave her the name of the tech person who did the original installation and provided extension # he said to use to contact him if I needed future service. She snarked at me and said "That means nothing to me" and she would not connect me with tech support. I told her it would be nice if she was not so rude. She just stared at me with her lips tight and curled. I told her I hoped her day is better and started to leave, but turned around and said, "You know, I apologized at the beginning, but I never heard an apology from you. She curtly said she would not apologize because she hasn't done anything to apologize for. I told her that it would have been appropriate for her to say "I apologize for the inconvenience". She said she was not sorry I was inconvenienced, that not how they do things they. At that point I told her she was not good at customer service, she replied with a tone of toxic venom, rolled her eyes and said, "And you are a such 'GRRREAT' customer." read more

Xfinity called me today, 2/23/2021, asking me to upgrade my internet service. I told them that I monitor my internet use and I not need to upgrade my internet service now. No surprise my internet service slowed down immediately after the conversation. Yes, I know you can, and will, slow down my service. Five minutes later I am called in and helped by Mike Wolfe. He was kind and patient and helped me fix my problem. I will be paying $280.00 this month for cable unexpectable. So I am changing and called them. they gave me another idea that would bring my bill down to $185.00 but then they said had to pay an additional amount over $200. so, if I want to change this month it would cost me around $800.00. that would take part of my rent and food. So I declined and hung up. You tell them you live on a fixed income and care for your handicapped mother and all they want is more money and then more money. This is totally unexpectable. If I could give this Comcast a 0 star review, I would. My most recent experience with this comcast was the worst customer service experience that I have witnessed so far. I went to this Comcast to figure out why one of my upcoming bills was higher than previous months. So recently I obtained Sandlot from Xfinity Rewards (a movie worth $15). I need the Xfinity On-Demand to view the movie, but I only have internet service through Comcast. They decided to credit $15 towards my last month's bill, which made it $15 less than usual; however, they decided to add $15 to my next month's bill because of this credit. Going to this Comcast store, I thought I would get an easy explanation for why my bill is being higher. Sadly, I was mistaken. The associate that was helping me treated me so poorly and had no real explanation for my bill increasing. Then, he brought his manager over to help us out. Good, right? So horribly wrong. With the manager coming over to help with explaining my bill further to me, I get even further disrespect and terrible explanation. We spent like 30 minutes going in circles with the explanation. They tried to say it was a computer issue, but then they said they didn't know why. On and on with their terribly elaborated explanation. After we came to somewhat of a resolution with the manager and Comcast worker, they tried to make things right by giving me a $10 credit towards my next upcoming bill. Another $10 added to my next bill after that? Writing this gave me a big old headache. This experience was absolutely completely draining. I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING SERVICE WITH COMCAST UNLESS YOU HAVE TO. read more

Xfinity has made it almost IMPOSSIBLE to transfer a phone number to another carrier. We've spent almost 5 hours dealing with many 'representatives' and constantly being put on hold with them giving us incorrect pin and transfer code numbers. This resulted in being without service for 2 days so far. A Samsung S21 Ultra purchased and paid for from Xfinity is NOT functional. Xfinity does this purposely to discourage transfers to less expensive carriers. I definitely would not get an Xfinity account. read more

They said I could get service out where I live , but after 1 1/2 months they say I love to far off the road. So I took my equipment back both sim cards(not even taken out of the package) and internet. 3 month later I get a collection notice in the mail, so I called xfinity and the woman said it was all taken care of and to call the collections back in 24 hrs to make sure the charges were taken off. So I did and the amount dropped but that was it. I called xfinity again and all of a sudden they couldn't find me in their system(24 hr later) do they said to go to where I got the service which I've done several times without anything figured out. I decided to pay the amount so it wouldn't go to my credit for a collection on my report for I cannot trust xfinity to fix this issue!!! The staff in this store is friendly and helpful. They unfortunately work for Xfinity. Xfinity internet is terrible in the Eugene area. I had Comcast in Gresham, OR, fast. I had CenturyLink in Fort Hood, TX, fast. I had AT&T in Manor, TX, fast. I had Sprectum in Manor, TX, fast. I moved to Eugene, and I was told that Xfinity is the best internet in the Eugene area. I pay a premium compared to the other providers I had in the past, and I am also roped into a year contract with Xfinity. The internet is TERRIBLE, and I centrally located in Eugene. It never fails that in the evening, the internet will completely shut off or is too slow to do anything. This is very annoying especially when trying to attend college online after working all day. I have tried to talk to customer support, and their only solution is trying to sell me a even more expensive internet package. I highly recommend researching their competitors before you are roped into a contract for their crappy service. After this contract is up, I will not consider Xfinity for my internet needs. read more
