My husband and I updated our xfinity equipment this past week. They tell you when you receive the new product send back the old one or drop it by any xfinity store. My husband tried to drop it by the store in our home town and they said they don't have time and they don't accept it there. They were rude! We will not be back to that store. Shouldn't advertise to take it to the store if they don't do it. I understand you have ups available just thought it was right around the corner. Don't trust anything these grifters tell you about their Global Pass service. My wife and I signed up for this service before we went on vacation and were told it would only cost 10 dollars a day. To our surprise, when we arrived back home we had the Global Pass charges plus hundreds of dollars in roaming fees that Daniel in the store told us would be removed. That was a lie and as we followed up with him for the last 3 months he eventually just stopped responding to us. The charges were never refunded. Comcast internet is the only decent internet around me so I'm forced to stay with them. I have constant repeated outages for seemingly no reason 2 or 3 times a month. Wish I could give 0 stars. They don't deserve the one star I gave them. I want to go on the unlimited data plan and they want to charge me $30 a month because I have my own modem. 1) xfinity says you can bring your own phone and add it to your account. I brought a new phone identical to what they sell, motorola, and they said it is not compatible with their service. then tried to sell me their motorola phone instead exact same phone. 2) purchased a new iphone13 on line from xfinity. It didn't arrive as stated, contacted the carrier, fedx, they said it was delayed and could not give me a new delivery date. I contacted xfinity and canceled the order and asked for a refund to my credit card. I paid in full when ordered. they would not refund my cc until they received it back. I told them I never received it but they still insisted on not refunding my money until they get the phone back. I told them fedx said it was delayed and didn't have a delivery date and they still held me responsible for the phone even though I had never touched it. I told them I had absolutely no responsibility for something I had no control over. They still held me responsible for the phone and the $1,242.34. I called my credit card company, Capitol One, and they took the charge off my bill. Then, xfinity sent me a bill for the phone which I never received. read more

If I could give a zero I would. Came in 6/6/19. First impressions wow this way nicer then Fairfield's old Comcast store. Looks aren't everything. Stood at the door for about 5 min. Do you know what that does to a customer. A young man come up and ask for my first name. Tells me to have a seat. I sit down play on my phone. Looks like to me I have about 3 people in front me. They all get helped. Ok I'm next sweet. No the 2 people that came in after me got called. They don't actually do customer services here you have to call the 888 number you can pick up obsolete equipment and get charged for it not working an then pay to get the correct equipment delivered directly to you but they are pretty friendly here but dont drink the free coffee it's never been cleaned since they first opened pretty sure they just top it off with whatever they have left in their cups when they clock in read more

Very poor service. First - difficult to get representative on phone when I did their system was down RED FLAG?? When the service person came to house did not have all the equipment needed to insall a new receiver (HDMI CABLE) said was coming back after 2 pm I called comcast to find out where was the service person at 5 pm. Needless to say it has been a week I don't think he is coming back. Had to buy a HDMI Cable. Installed afaster modem the fastest they have and I am having connectivity issues. Not worth it. Would give - star if possible. More issues just warning all of you to BEWARE and use another dependable company. The last one I belonged too had shoe covers each time they entered my house. I had a great experience with my visit to the store. Roberto the service rep and his manager were tremendously helpful and knowledgeable and were able to help me with the final steps of transitioning my mobile service and bringing my Iphone over from a competitor. I began this process online and tried to complete it over the phone, but the best way to complete the process was in person. Roberto comes across as friendly, good-natured, and genuine. My problem was resolved as quickly as was possible, and I am back up and running again. Thank you! read more

The other night I went to Xfinity to pay my bill because the phone system is down for three weeks in order for me to pay it over the phone so I had to go in person, no problem. The assistant sent me to the kiosk, I paid the bill but I had other problems that I wanted to handle. The account is under my husband's name but I am an authorized user, I've been an authorized user since the year of 2019. I've never had a problem calling over the phone, this is actually one of the first, no maybe a couple times that I have actually use the walk-in system. The person that ended up helping me told me I had no authorization to the account. Our account had gotten disconnected that particular day cause I tried to pay all the past due balance over the phone, but as I said the 3rd party phone payment company was not operational. So I had to go in person. I asked the assistant if he could just hear me out and possible wait for the system to catch up to the system rebooting our only minutes previously disconnected account so all the information was available he through his hands up in the the air and said I don't know what to tell you. ‍ literally looking like this emoji. I felt really defeated since I'm the one who handles the finances. If he could not discuss anything with me or allow me to pull up the account then why would he very sarcastically tell me I would save money if I didn't watch HBO max? He was very rude and to not do further investigation to help me out that evening was not pleasing to stay with this company. Also he had his AirPods in his ear and did not even communicate with eye contact. Won't be the last heard of this. read more

We had an experienced that took 3 months to correct. Do not trust them on the $200 reward card, it's a scam. They sell you a big story that you will get a credit card for each cell phone you get only to find that it will not happen. They are very unprofessional. Get everything in writing before signing. Sales pitches Paula Florez is erogant and all she had to say was "I'm sorry" I than said this was a scam! No, it's just false information to get you to buy their phones that aren't even the correct ones for any reward. I will never believe any sales person from that office. read more

This was the best experience I have ever had at Comcast. I came here on the weekend which of course is usually prime time and a long wait. It was busy when I arrived but I was greeted right away. I only waited about ten minutes and was helped by a very knowledgeable guy. He got us everything we needed and was not at all pushy. We had the worst customer service from Paula at this location this morning. We were invited to go in for a special offer from xfinity. When we arrived Paula did not even look up at us when she initially addressed us, she had been using her cell phone and was putting it away and it was obvious that she was not in a customer service mood immediately. We let her know why we were there, to receive a special promotion and basically she treated us like derelicts wandering in off the street. She would not give us the promo because we did not have the email with us...It was a terrible experience and we left without our promo. She was extremely rude and actually told us they don't just hand out free things to anybody! Free??? No my dear, we pay thousands a year to watch TV, this is why people are switching their service from xfinity!!! Update...we went back to Xfinity after returning home to check the email and nowhere on it did it say to bring the email! We spoke to a different person Bree, who also made us show her the email and actually used the words "...we can't just give them to anyone off the street..." That set me off! How dare they talk to us like that after THEY INVITED US TO COME IN we did not wander in off the street, now it was a point to show the email to validate our standing. When I told Bree that we spend thousands a year on tv her response was "so do I"! We were pretty upset by the treatment and had to wonder if discrimination played a part because we are interracial, but we do live in the diverse bay area and want to believe it had to be just rudeness, and lack of customer service or sensitivity training. Bree insisted that corporate gave the word to validate the email even though the email does not say it's required for the offer, of course we do not believe that! Xfinity should be grateful to have long standing customers and train their employees better on how to treat valued customers, unacceptable!!! read more

WORST Store- customer service- and even asst manager ED Warren. 11/6/18- Went to the store for a few minor concerns. Alberto ( rude childish employee) wanted all my personal information and will not divulge sharing manager's information stating" store policy". will not allow me to be assisted by other associates " call toll-free number". Finally, I threatened with legal action and employee named " See" helped and facilitated having asst manager to call me. Ed Warren, another psycho, wants to resolve internally without disciplining his employee and cover it up. I escalated this to Xfinity manager ( national) and they could not even provide Manager's name( their own people), the Online chat was useless ( promised me to receive call from manager for my complaint, never received one). Bottom line, Worst company to consumers, harbours maniancs to their workforce, they all suppress bad behaviors of their own, and arrogantly continue to do business "just fine". I am filing complaint to 1) consumer affairs CA- state govt , 2) business bureau & 3) Social media with simple message " STAY AWAY FROM Xfinity/ COMCAST UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR INFORMATION STOLEN, BE TREATED RUDELY AND THEY CAN CONTINUE TO PAY FOR THEIR SALARIES AT YOUR EXPENSE". Stopped in to exchange my cable boxes and was greeted instantly and directed to an open attendant. PJ helped me and was very professional and sweet. She noticed our cable bill was high and advised me to callback after Jan. 8th to get the promotional deal to help lower our bill. Was in and out in like 15mins. This is my 2nd experience coming into the E. Monta Vista store and both times was a breeze. read more

I've been a loyal and for the most part happy customer of Comcast for many years and up until the past month would have recommended them to family and friends, but no more. I was told my job was going to be "downsized" and was forced to seek employment elsewhere. My family and I moved to Arizona where there was no Comcast available in our area. I called and spoke with Comcast to relay the situation and was told they understand and no early termination fees would apply. We turned in our equipment to the VV store and headed East. That's when I got a bill for $1,200.00 stating I failed to turn in the equipment and a termination fee has been applied to both the Xfinity package and the home security we had. Needless to say I was upset but figured something got lost in translation. Again, I called Comcast and after waiting for over 30 minutes I was able to speak to a supervisor (the customer service rep was no help, just kept repeating the same thing over and over). Again, I explained the situation and this time I was told a different story and that there was no notes in the system of my previous conversation (Then how did I know what to do with the equipment?). My contract was going to be complete in August, yep 3 months out and they still treated me like just a number. Thanks a lot for that Bob (IP number: #8.). I have never missed a payment nor ever been late with one, I WAS still trying to continue services in my new area but unless some serious recovery is done I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Just a heads up for all of you out there considering your options, Comcast unfortunately isn't what I thought it was. They will tell you one thing over the phone but do something completely different. Hope this helps someone avoid being let down. read more
