    I stopped by after work to pick up 2 cable boxes, to avoid shipping costs. I came in and checked in (no appointment), told one guy what I came to pick up and was guided to the next window. Jonathan was quick to verify my information, check my ID,and told me all I had to do was connect the boxes to the TV's and it should start to work without calling Xfinity. I was quickly on and out!     Dish absolutley does not care about it's customers. I signed up for service in June, 2023 and…read moresomeone came out to set-up the satellite and the box. Since then: 1. Within 3 months the Hopper box (DVR) needed to be replaced as it stopped working. Instead of sending out someone to fix the issue with a new box, they mailed me a new box but I needed to request a "special" service to have a person come out to install the new box and take away the old one. Since I couldn't call for the service until the new box arrived, that delayed the replacement of their service another couple of days. They obviously didn't care they were under contract to provide my tv service. 2. During a big storm in February, 2024, the satellite they installed blew over and stopped working, as did the satellite for my internet service. When the internet provider came out right away to fix their satellite dish, they found out that the Dish service person who set up their satellite initially had not fixes their satellite to their own base, they attached it to the base for the internet service. That's why both satellites blew over, because one base couldn't support two satellites. When I complained about this to Dish they were unconcerned and did not apologize or offer any credit for the fraudulent/probably illegal work done by their installer. 3. The second Hopper box they gave me stopped working in August, 2024. This will make my 3rd Hopper box in about a year. Again, they wouldn't send a service person out to bring a new box right away. This time they said they would send a new box for free if it was shipped in 5-6 business days, but they would send it to arrive the next day if I paid $20 for expedited shipping. They also would not send anyone out ever to help me install the new box and they won't take the old one back but they gave me a location where I could drop it off for recycling. So, what do they do for the money I send them each month? I'll tell you; nothing. I feel sorry for anyone who signs up with Dish. They are awful!!!!!
