I came to the Xfinity Store to see if I can change my home Internet and TV plan because my current plan just keeps going up in price. I made an appointment same day on a Saturday for 4:45pm. I arrived at 4pm and was told that I can either check in and wait, but will be knocked off first in line on the list or stay on the list and come back at 4:45pm. I opted go run an errand and to come back at my appointment time as there were 2 family's that just walked in ahead of me and it looked like they were short staffed. When I came back at 4:44pm, I was greeted and checked in right away and told that they will call me when they are ready for me. Unfortunately, I still had to wait over 30 minutes, maybe 40 minutes before someone was able to help me. The guy who helped me (I believe his name was Matthew) was very cool and did a very thorough job of reviewing my account and making suggestions. I had already researched what I wanted, so I just needed to know if that was the best options for me. He was very knowledgeable of all the products. In the end, I achieved my goal of shaving off a few bucks per month on Internet and TV service (saving $60/month and got a free modem/router and TV box), so I am happy. Only thing I was not happy about was waiting an extra 30-40 minutes after my appointment time. At least they had a comfortable waiting area and free WiFi. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would !!! The Vacaville Xfinity branch is an absolute nightmare. The wait times are outrageous, the service is pathetic, and the staff clearly has zero interest in actually helping customers. I was "helped" by a rep named Jessy (or Jessay), who had one of the worst attitudes I've ever experienced. She was passive aggressive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I came in for something simple which was just activating the cellular on my Apple Watch. Instead of resolving the issue, she disconnected my watch from my phone, removed the iWatch from the account and then told me I'd need to add it through the app or by calling the 1-800 number. If that's the case, then what is the point of even having a physical store? When I asked if she could at least provide instructions to guide my father (the primary account holder), she flat-out refused. Not only was it a total waste of time, but she actually made the problem worse. When I asked to speak to a manager (Everto), she went to him first, most likely twisting the story, then came back smirking and told me I could talk to him. He was just as bad. He didn't listen, didn't care, and did nothing except defend his employee. His exact words to me were: "I trust my employee and I will not be able to help you." I explained that other Xfinity branches had no problem helping me with this exact issue, yet he flat-out told me he wouldn't help with anything. To make matters worse, he even refused to speak to my father, the primary holder on the account. This location is a joke. It's clear the Vacaville Xfinity branch has no standards, no accountability, and no clue what real management is supposed to look like. If you value your time and sanity, do not go here. You'll walk out more frustrated and angrier than when you walked in. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences when I've gone to this location, so I'm guessing the bad reviews are due to peoples' disdain for the company as a whole. Should you need to manage your account, do yourself a favor and go into the store and ask for Brandon. He is vastly knowledgeable, efficient, and is looking out for your best interests. I wanted to save some money and that's exactly what he helped me do. He found all of the applicable discounts and rebates that is now saving me over $200 a month. Additionally, I brought two lines over from Verizon (still on their towers through Xfinity) and he made the process exceedingly easy and fast. Just know that you're going into a sales environment, so do yourself a favor and be open to hearing the pitch. It could very well save you a ton of money every month. If time is an issue, set an appointment. It's easy. Again - Brandon is THE MAN! Great service, nice to see new lady's working, very friendly welcoming faces.. Very helpful with the elderly, very patient and good at explaining the plans and pricing. Makes deciding on a plan very simple. Definitely a 10/10!! Especially if you can come in at a slower time. All around great place to visit! More legitimate/accurate questions answered in the store, than any chat/bot or over the phone worker can give you. If you are having trouble over the phone or online. Just head in to the store! They pulled the bait and switch trick on my elderly parents. My parents have 4 boxes for their TV's. It was suggested to change out the boxes. Ok so I bring them in. Got them changed out.... They give me 4 boxes in return. Since we couldn't figure out how to connect the new boxes to the new remotes they wanted to charge them to connect. After a couple of hours of frustrating challenges trying to connect them.... We called them out to have a service man connect. They would not allow the the service man to connect all 4. Only 2.... They said unless they upgrade their plan.... And for my elderly parents to return, TO RETURN THE OTHER TWO BOXES OTHERWISE BE CHARGED FOR THEM. Shame on Xfinity!!! It's an absolute ripoff. First, the manager had me wait and 15 minutes later I was assigned to a salesman. I had already told the manager what my problem was. People could hear me when I used WhatsApp but they couldn't hear me when I used the phone. I asked the salesman whether he could at least clean the speaker area on the phone. He refused to do so. He told me that he could get me on a monthly plan to buy a new phone or go to Best Buy down the block. I went to Best Buy to see if the Geek Squad could fix the phone. The guy who fixes phones ran a test on it and said I should get a new phone because it would be too expensive to fix. He then started to update my I cloud and the Apple privacy agreement message flashed on. I clicked the agreement and the sound works now. The sales people are either ignorant or frauds. Every time I visit this store for service, I have to follow up with a call to the 800 number. This time, I went to the Vacaville store to have my services transferred to my new residence. The customer service rep (Jessy) processed my request (or so I thought) and said that technicians would be out to my new home this Friday. When I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail, I called the 800 number and, to my surprise or not, there was no record of an appointment being made. What was on file was for my service to be discontinued on Friday and equipment mailed to me, even though Jessy stated that I just needed to bring the equipment to the new place. After spending 45 minutes on the phone with a customer service rep, along with waiting 45 minutes at the store, I was able to get an appointment and stop the disconnection of service. Xfinity is always a hassle, never efficient! Stick to Directv if you can! read more

So I needed to return some items and for my transaction it was nice and smooth. I simply walked in with my items and then they said I need your name for check in. After I gave them my name I walked around for about four minutes and then someone was available right away. I upgraded from the current digital box that we had to the newer one for a new plan. I like it so far. The process was very easy to check in my previous digital box no complaints there. But of course with anything cable seems to always increase in price that is the only downfall. read more

I had to go to Xfinity to drop off my boyfriends old router. We just moved in together and there was no sense in us both keeping a router. While I was here I worked with Paula- she was a peach and super friendly. She also updated me on the wifi extenders in which I bought 2 for my otherwise deadzoned house. While she was getting everything taken care of on her end we talked about some very heavy life events. Paula made me feel at home, heard, seen, and cared about what I was going through even if it had nothing to actually do with what my visit was for and I really needed that. read more

I was sent here by the online technician and they lock the door right when I was walking up and wouldn't let me in to swap out a modem that already had a ticket. The manager said no. Whoever the manager is is complete trash. I hope this store closes soon because the people that work there are garbage, it didn't have to be this way, you chose to be this way. Xfinity as a company is about as horrible as it gets so when i came into the store with a Billing issue that is FUBAR i didnt expect much. But surprisingly, the staff member who helped me was very nice, honest & was willing to try to help despite the fact that her role was just greeting and assigning walk-in customers and that it was 20 minutes until closing. I would give this review a 1star if it was based off my xfinity experience over all and would give it a full 5 stars if just based on her service. I would give 0 stars if that were an option. I have now devoted over 11 hours trying to get a working phone through Xfinity! What I have had to go through this past week is beyond ABSURD! I purchased a phone and insurance for that phone through Xfinity. Last week my phone broke. I went through Assurant, Xfinity's insurance provider. I paid the deductible of 117.00 and Xfinity sent me another broken phone. The new phone is worse than the original phone. Now, the only way I can get a replacement for the replacement is to send back the phone. The problem is that I have to wait several days for the new phone which means I will be without a phone until I receive the replacement. I can not work without my phone. My only option now is to cancel my account and eat the money I paid for 21 months of insurance and the 117.00 deductible. Xfinity, DO BETTER! This is the worst customer service I have received from anyone, anywhere. You are now going to lose 2 mobile and 2 internet/ cabel accounts over 1 outdated phone. I'm not a mathematician, but it looks like you will be losing a lot more money losing me as a customer than you would have if you had just done the right thing and replaced my phone. I have every single service that You can think of that Comcast has. During the pandemic we all have used internet because of work and school for our kids. You would think a large company like Comcast would be understanding to the change in times especially during a pandemic. After being a loyal customer (not because of customer service obviously) for many years they refused to work with me on a couple of fees when I spend $300-$400 a month on my service (overage on home internet data after a confusing article stated these fees would be waived until the end of the school year because of the pandemic). I like their service on many levels, but when a client shows loyalty to a company and the loyalty is not returned it's time to look elsewhere. Instead of thinking of the long term and what I bring as a customer, the store manager Sunny decided to lose my business. I had a surprising great visit from Xfinity. I was expecting the evil eye since I had came in to drop off my cable accessories as I had cancelled my cable service (but kept my internet service) but it was the opposite. I came in with a box of xfinity parts and the sales rep Ryan M. rushed to open the door for me (I appreciated the gentlemanly gesture!) Ryan had mention how I can save monthly and still get some streaming thru xfinity app by having a 1 year contract. It was a good deal since we weren't planning to cancel our internet. He was the perfect salesman! He was very patient and NOT aggressive at all. He mentioned other new offers but didn't put any pressure on me to commit. He even noted how much I should expect on my monthly bill and suggest for me to take a pic of the details of my contract. Had a great experience at the Vacaville XFINITY Store! I had a scheduled appointment and arrived about 5 minutes early. I was greeted almost immediately and Ryan set me up with a gateway and the self install instructions/package. He explained everything, showed me a simplified version of how to do it and had me on my way home in a very short time. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and comfortable he was with explaining each part of the set-up process and how kindly he treated me. Definitely top rate customer service. read more

I am only making my yelp account to write this review. This place is awful. The past two times I've come into this store, the employees have had me wait for over an hour to have a less than one minute interaction with the employee to get done what I needed them to do. Their customer service is awful and only have a maximum of two people working at a time. Also, they have one employee just standing by the door 24-7 doing nothing but checking people in and standing around doing nothing. Here's an idea, maybe have him do things that would help customers while hes standing around doing nothing 90% of the time. I cannot express how bad and mismanaged this place is. read more

They finally called my name to help me and I told the lady I wanted a new phone and she said well we close in 2 minutes. I said well I've been waiting here for 30min so now you can't help me ? My husband and I updated our xfinity equipment this past week. They tell you when you receive the new product send back the old one or drop it by any xfinity store. My husband tried to drop it by the store in our home town and they said they don't have time and they don't accept it there. They were rude! We will not be back to that store.
