This is the perfect place to head after a night out. They serve all kinds of meal and dessert crepes. I had the Xielo Chicken Crepe. It was simply delicious. Finally decided to try this place. Absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be coming back, there was so many things I wanted to try but, decided to wait so that I could come back again! The staff was super courteous and gave us recommendations on what to try first. Totally in love with their iced 'Café de olla'. So I went here on a whim, wanted something new and different for lunch, and I love supporting local businesses. I am so happy that I stopped by! The 2 gentlemen that were working the front, (Father and son I presume) were fantastic! So welcoming, took the time to explain their menu to me, and made some great recommendations! I tried the names sake Xielo (chelo) Savory crepe! OMG so fantastic. The home made chili oil was phenomenal as well. it was HOT but tasty!! I've been a loyal and satisfied customer since this place opened. Xielo has delicious café de olla which I always order, iced when its warmer weather and hot when its chilly outside. The baked treats are almost always on point; on a few occasions I did get very dry cake or bread as if it had been in the case for a while BUT most of the time this is not a problem. I will continue to take my chances because other items like the crepes, sandwiches, soups, cheesecake are bursting with flavor and never disappoint. I know we all need a rest day but I still wish they were open on Mondays which is when I need a push in the form of a café de olla and a crepe. The spot itself is charming with very limited seating so I just take my items to go. Staff is always friendly and welcoming which is a huge plus. read more

First time at Xielo and I have to say I'm in love! Tried their chicken, mushroom and spinach crepe and it was delicious. Earlier in the day I had tried their salsa at work from my supervisor and it was so good I had to come in for myself. Definitely will be back to try other items. A delightful crepe shop that puts a twist on Mexican cuisine hiding behind the French crepe. We had the chicken and the carne asada crepes because we couldn't decide one over the other and they were both delicious! The vibe is very mom and pop, feels like home, and they have excellent service with smiles and bring a unique spin to the crepe world. Went to Xielo finally after hearing raves, it was excellent! It's very small, so don't plan to eat there... I got the Banana/Strawberry/Nutella crepe (I've got my eye on the savory crepes for next time), the pastel de requeson with kiwi sauce (so delicious!!) and a guava empanada and an almond cookie. Both were really good. The empanada dough was flakier that most empanadas I've had, it was light and flavorful. Oh, I also had a cup of Café de Olla, soooo good. The service was very good also, they were patient and explained what everything was (we were a bit high maintenance ;) and spent some time chatting telling us their story. I've visited with my mom, (who comes here enough to be on a first name basis) during my weekend back in town and it's definitely earned its spot as a staple. Juan Carlos and Favi were friendly and accommodating in recommending their specials of the day. I believe I had the Quesito Poblano, and the slight sweetness of the crepe complimented the mushrooms and meat well. Likewise, they have a fairly diverse spectrum of pastries and desserts which I would assume pair very well with the hot chocolate. They also have take out in case it gets crowded. The shop is clean, rustic, and thought out. The decorations emit a cozy vibe consistent with the family owned nature of the shop. One of my favorite places of all time! Their crepes are to die for. Their guayaba empanadas are AMAZING! All their other cookies and little pastries are also great. I also can't forget their cafe de olla. I literally will drive there just to get their coffee. It tastes like my grandmas coffee. The gentlemen at the front is great. So yes this place is fantastic. It reminds me of walking around Guadalajara Mexico and finding a vendor or even a small street stand that makes the treats that make life totally worth living. I had the strawberry/banana/Nutella crepe (among other greats, I'm such a glutton ;-)) and was simply amazing. I have gone there two times so far, but that will my place to go as often as I can without having to add more gym time. Love it there, and I'm certain you would as well.
