I stopped in for happy hour, and the prices were great. $10 for a frozen Voodoo Juice pouch and $8 for a Penicillin cocktail. You really can't beat that. I also had the bread pudding, but I asked for no pretzels. I'm still trying to understand how pretzels and bread pudding go together, but nonetheless, without them, the bread pudding was really good. The bartender was very attentive and kept checking to make sure we were good. Great service, and the bar was kept clean, which is important to me because I hate sticky bars. Overall, I'll definitely be back again. Good music, great crowd, great service, and great prices.

The RVC is louder with more music blasting to really curate a vibe but I actually like this location a bit more. I do like the selection of happy hour drinks and I'm always happy to eat raw oysters, these are good. However, the rest of the food isn't worth it to me. It tastes very commercial and I feel you're better off splurging at a premium seafood restaurant. For example, I had the gumbo and it was decent but definitely needed more seasoning and more spiciness. It wasn't anything special and I wouldn't get it again. I've also tried calamari and their baked clams and I could do without these as well. I also tried their crab dip (but at the RVC location, menu can vary) and that was not good. I gave voodoo crab a few tries and I don't think it's bad but it's not great either. I would only suggest the happy hour menu + drinks. I haven't tried the seafood boils here (not super interesting to me) but maybe that's worth the money in the end. The service here was great, our waitress was nice and didn't rush us out and checked on us multiple times to make sure we needed anything. For that I can say that despite the misses with some of food the restaurant isn't too bad and is worth about 3 stars.

The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. My only real critique is that the restaurant gets a bit loud, making it a tad difficult to hear but it's also a sign that the place is doing consistently well.

However, the seating in my opinion is on a tight spaced sidewalk where people and cars pass you by. It was crowded and our waiter was fine. The food took way too long to come out. It was like they forgot our order. It was happy hour for clams so that could have played a part. However, others had received their food before us. When the food finally came, the oysters were sad. Such small oysters for a place that's on the coast and bases it menu off the ocean. Our tuna tartar tacos were great. Best I've ever had. The flavor is towards the bottom of the taco so take a big bite to get all that flavor. IMO this is a nice place. I would not make it a go to spot for their oysters. But I would return.

It was about an hour drive from the Bronx and traffic was clear the entire way. The whole restaurant was closed for the event which was nice because it was pretty small so having the place to ourselves made it much more comfortable. They have street parking and a parking lot with plenty of spots. When we walked in, it felt very cozy. They have a pretty decent sized bar and had our brunch cocktails located at a section of the bar so everyone could help themselves. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. All of the guest filled up their very modest dining area but there was plenty of space for all of us. They offered a nice buffet of food that included warm bread with whipped butter, salad, pasta, chicken, salmon and a mini carving station of beef and ham. Everything tasted really good. They ran out of the beef by the time I got to the carving station, so the gentleman brought a plate to the table with a few slices of beef for me. The salmon was amazing, served with a creamy dill sauce. I had my toddler in tow and she was a bit cranky so the staff was very helpful when asking if I needed anything for her, like a separate dish or if I needed anything brought to the table. I definitely felt welcomed and if I lived in the area, this place would be a top contender for a baby or bridal shower, birthday party or any event with a modest guest list. I want to say that the dining room probably holds about 40+ people and there is also space in the front of the house so you could definitely throw a decent-sized event here and the food would not disappoint.

I've loved it for over 15 years maybe longer. I've lost count. Buuuut with the new owner Marcus & his friendly knowledgeable staff (Hiiii Pedro!) it has improved immensely! Marcus's passion & dedication to the art of fishing & shellfishery shows. I come from a long line of clammers & eelers. My family does not give a BBQ without clams. We just don't. But Marcus (I can't say his name without hearing Eartha Kitt. If ya know, Ya know. Hahaha) has upped the ante with fresh shellfish & fish options also dry aged items as well. Today I was blessed with Jumbo Soft Shell Crabs! I was lazy & broiled them instead of grilling or frying them. They came out perfect! Called My Dad & he went back for some also. And the new hours!!! I can't say enough about the later hours & being open 7 days! Epic! Thank you CC for providing quality seafood to my local restaurants while also allowing me the same opportunity to get the best Long Island has to offer. 7-6-2025

I ordered online, they have a really convenient online ordering system which gave me no issue. I got their order of fried clam strips and a small platter of fried flounder, fried shrimp, and white rice. The clam strips were tasty but I have to knock them for not prepping them fresh as a fish market. I quite literally saw the box they were delivered in sitting in the counter. They weren't bad but definitely not great. The fried shrimps were just okay. The breading and meat were a bit chewy and firm, not very crisp. For the rice I was partially expecting a spanish type of white rice but it was plain steamed rice. This did work well though because my other items were a bit salty anyway. The real star of the show was the fish. This was definitely prepped in house and it was so good. A crisp, generously seasoned outer crust with the flaky meat intact and moist. I found their cayenne pepper sauce perfect for the fried seafood, very thin and vinegar forward to cut through the grease a bit. Their tartar was okay, it was one of the sweeter types which I'm not a fan of. I would try it again and get their fried fish . Everything else I'd mix up though.
