I stopped in for happy hour, and the prices were great. $10 for a frozen Voodoo Juice pouch and $8 for a Penicillin cocktail. You really can't beat that. I also had the bread pudding, but I asked for no pretzels. I'm still trying to understand how pretzels and bread pudding go together, but nonetheless, without them, the bread pudding was really good. The bartender was very attentive and kept checking to make sure we were good. Great service, and the bar was kept clean, which is important to me because I hate sticky bars. Overall, I'll definitely be back again. Good music, great crowd, great service, and great prices.

It is a pretty large dining area- enough space to sit large groups. I was excited for the seafood boil because of the voodoo crab sauce mix. What I will say here is I wanted to also try the clam chowder, but unfortunately bacon is infused into the chowder and I don't eat pork (I appreciated the note on the menu saying this btw- A for transparency.) What I had: -Seafood bisque: I went with this instead for the soup fix. It came paired with two small pieces of garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese. I will say the seafood inside the soup was fresh and tasty, perfectly cooked. I believe there were shrimp and scallops inside- not sure if there was anything else as I didn't get far and gave it away before finishing it. I was disappointed because it tasted more like tomato soup to me than anything else. Lobster bisques tend to be my go to dish so this being a seafood bisque I kind of expected more out of it however it was non-climactic. I may even argue the seafood isn't actually cooked into the soup but added in after-the-fact. The bread was a nice touch- it was soft and tasty. -Boil (sad I forgot to get a pic!) voodoo crab sauce mix. 1 pound shrimp and 1/2 pound calamari. This was good. Your typical boil- however I will say the voodoo crab sauce was a bit bland, like missing something or maybe not enough seasoning in it? I've been to other voodoo crabs before and used those experiences with the sauce mixture as a point of reference. Just tasted... lacking. Overall this spot has fresh seafood which is what you want in a seafood spot, a family friendly environment and good service. 3/5 for me due to some of those essential flavors missing.

The restaurant…read moreusually has some great specials and an impressive, rotating selection of east and west coast oysters. The servers are all well versed in the menu items, including the oyster selection, which is always a plus for me. Each time I've visited I ordered a few different oysters and have never been disappointed. You really cannot go wrong with what you order. The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, perfect for 2-4 people. Also had to try the oysters Rockefeller which are always delicious. My first visit (NYE '26) they had octopus on their specials menu. I PRAY they bring it back because it was memorable, even 6 months later. My first visit I tried the barramundi which, at the time was a special menu item. It seems they added it to the Mains but with a different preparation. This time I tried the salmon which was excellent. If seafood's not your jam, they have plenty of menu items to choose from. In addition to the food, they also have great cocktails and a stellar looking happy hour menu I can't wait to try. I recommend making reservations, especially if you're visiting on a Friday or Saturday night. Both times I went here the restaurant was packed, particularly the bar area. My only real critique is that the restaurant gets a bit loud, making it a tad difficult to hear but it's also a sign that the place is doing consistently well.

Let's talk about that $25 Thursday girls' night deal a martini, fries, and a Caesar salad? Yes, please. I upgraded to the parmesan fries for an extra $3 and have zero regrets, they were crispy, cheesy. and salty perfection. Of course, I couldn't ignore the oyster specials. $1 oysters + discounted varieties ($1 discount on every type of oyster) Dangerous. I ordered a dozen and shamelessly took them all down myself Fresh, briny, and absolutely worth it. My friend went the "balance" route with the grain bowl and added shrimp, which looked just as good as it tasted. Everything we had was on point. Service deserves a shoutout. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering. My martini was perfectly made (strong but smooth), and the overall vibe was lively, energetic, but still perfect for catching up. The vibe really made the night. Great food, great deal, great company. Honestly, it's the kind of spot that turns a casual night into a whole experience. I'll definitely be back.

There are excellent choices on their regular menu as well, 3 of us chose the Caesar salad as an app..excellent dressing. 2 others chose the Pork Filet mignon over mashed potatoes & spinach with yummy corn. The pork was cooked to perfection & so tender. The other diner had flat iron steak with 3 shrimp & onion strings on top also beautifully done. Our waitress was friendly & told us about the daily specials. Dessert was crème brûlée & flourless chocolate cake..2 more winners!! The cake was moist & the brûlée with a hint of Irish cream liquor-equally as good. It was about an hour drive from the Bronx and traffic was clear the entire way. The whole restaurant was closed for the event which was nice because it was pretty small so having the place to ourselves made it much more comfortable. They have street parking and a parking lot with plenty of spots. When we walked in, it felt very cozy. They have a pretty decent sized bar and had our brunch cocktails located at a section of the bar so everyone could help themselves. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. All of the guest filled up their very modest dining area but there was plenty of space for all of us. They offered a nice buffet of food that included warm bread with whipped butter, salad, pasta, chicken, salmon and a mini carving station of beef and ham. Everything tasted really good. They ran out of the beef by the time I got to the carving station, so the gentleman brought a plate to the table with a few slices of beef for me. The salmon was amazing, served with a creamy dill sauce. I had my toddler in tow and she was a bit cranky so the staff was very helpful when asking if I needed anything for her, like a separate dish or if I needed anything brought to the table. I definitely felt welcomed and if I lived in the area, this place would be a top contender for a baby or bridal shower, birthday party or any event with a modest guest list. I want to say that the dining room probably holds about 40+ people and there is also space in the front of the house so you could definitely throw a decent-sized event here and the food would not disappoint.

I ordered online, they have a really convenient online ordering system which gave me no issue. I got their order of fried clam strips and a small platter of fried flounder, fried shrimp, and white rice. The clam strips were tasty but I have to knock them for not prepping them fresh as a fish market. I quite literally saw the box they were delivered in sitting in the counter. They weren't bad but definitely not great. The fried shrimps were just okay. The breading and meat were a bit chewy and firm, not very crisp. For the rice I was partially expecting a spanish type of white rice but it was plain steamed rice. This did work well though because my other items were a bit salty anyway. The real star of the show was the fish. This was definitely prepped in house and it was so good. A crisp, generously seasoned outer crust with the flaky meat intact and moist. I found their cayenne pepper sauce perfect for the fried seafood, very thin and vinegar forward to cut through the grease a bit. Their tartar was okay, it was one of the sweeter types which I'm not a fan of. I would try it again and get their fried fish . Everything else I'd mix up though.
