I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS NOR BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! I purchased a vehicle for my son. It is a 2018 Ford Escape in August for $13,000. After a few weeks of driving it, the check engine light came on. I took it to a Ford dealership mechanic. The history shows this engine light has been an issue. There is a known problem with this specific motor. We contacted the owner at Xtreme Auto Sales to see what could be done. The owner Kyle told us they would replace the motor for $4800. They wouldn't charge us labor. (A brand new motor can be put in for $7000). After further talks Kyle told us that for the $4800 they would be putting the same motor in that is known to fail but with less miles when we said no they offered just the bottom of the motor even after it had overheated and affected the top of the motor (I don't think they expected us to have researched the issue). Once we said no they will no longer answer our messages or phone calls. We have now messaged multiple times with no response and have called multiple times without a return call. This whole situation has been going on for weeks!!! I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism this situation has been handled. They even admitted this was their 3rd time dealing with the same Ford motor with this problem. I will be asking our work lawyer for his advice and be filing a complaint with the BBB. Xtreme Auto Sales do not follow thru with customer service!!!! It's very disappointing that their profit margin is more important than doing the right thing. In my business, ours is the opposite. We purchased a car for our son less than 90k miles. $13,000 and was told by a ford dealer they knew the engine had a problem once the engine died less than 2 months after purchase. Literally the worst buying experience we have EVER had. Just a few months after purchasing our vehicle from Xtreme we began to have problems with it and took it to our mechanic. We found out that there was previous issue with it that had been sealed up with orange silicon to make is passable, and that he sees this fix only from cars from Xtreme in the area. We went back to Xtreme, and we're given the run around by some guy we'd never seen or spoken to, and then NEVER received a call back. 6 months or so later, and we see our original sales guy. He asked if we ever got it fixed and so we explain the situation to him. He assures us it's ridiculous, and to bring the vehicle in- it's all covered under warranty. You would think this is good NOPE. Upon delivering the vehicle no one told us that their garage was across town. We had to take the vehicle to their garage, and then WALK BACK. We were told they must keep the car for a week. The next day we get a call that the vehicle is almost done and we owe them 370$ even though we were told it was under warranty and wouldn't cost us to have the problem that CAME WITH THE CAR fixed. We explain the entire situation again to the service guy and why we shouldn't owe anything- he says he doesn't know anything about the situation and that someone will call us. Almost a full week later, WE called because we never heard anything, even if the car was done or not. It is only now, that we find out that sure, some of it was covered under warranty, but now out of NOWHERE, with NO call, NO COMMUNICATION WHAT-SO-EVER, we owe them for parts....that were covered under warranty... ok. Upon arrival to pick up the vehicle, we were scolded for 10 minutes about leaving a bad review, stating that "we're making the business look bad" after we both have been accused of lying by the business, and I was bullied ON MY PERSONAL PAGE, and accused of manipulating information. (The person that is said to have left a comment here on this post never uses his Facebook, at all, so there was nothing for me to delete anyways.) After he was scolded, we were finally given our keys back, confirming that NOW we don't owe anything, but also stating that we were going to be charged for the parts that they didn't have in house, to fix the problem that the warranty covered. Doesn't make sense. Last but of course not least, as he walked out of the building he was told "Tell your wife to stop being so mean." They let us know that if this is how business is going to be they don't want it. Which is fine because we would rather walk-and that's how they do their business anyways, so we're a foot ahead of them already! Moral of the story. Don't buy a car here. Ever.
