A couple weeks ago, 1800 miles away in Arizona, I made a decision that I was on the look for a F-150. For about 5 years I have been wanting to do this, but I couldn't stand my local dealers with their asinine tactics and slick maneuvers. Every time I walk in them I always, always walk out disappointed. Every family member of mine has had similar experiences and it's the first thing I hear whenever I mention looking for a truck. I have purchased every car I've owned in the last 15 years from Sanderson. My parents have bought all their cars from Sanderson for even longer than that. They have a great sales staff, quality vehicles on their lot (mostly off-lease vehicles), and very reasonable prices. My most recent purchase was a 2004 Grand Prix with 63,000 miles on it. It was right in my price range and the sales staff helped me to find it. I bought this car in 2007. Fast forward six years, when it has 156,000 miles and still runs reasonably well. No extraordinary maintenance has been needed, and I am not exactly easy on cars. I feel like my car has run well because they gave me a good quality vehicle. They also have a repair shop on site. I cannot attest to the services provided there myself. However, my car had been serviced by their repair team before I purchased it, and again I feel like this has contributed to the longevity of my car. I cannot say enough great things about this place. The salespeople have always been honest with me when I have had questions, and I have never found they pushy. They have always helped me find a great vehicle in my price range that is a good match for what I am looking for. Even though I no longer live in Indiana, I am pretty sure it will be worth it for me to make the trip back when I am ready to purchase my next vehicle. read more

Bad customer service. Took a suv our and it rattled in the front end and tires shook. This was an expensive car too. Tires were bad and pretty thin and asked them to put on new tires before test driving again. Nope. They Wouldn't do it. We went to another dealership in Warsaw and bought a newer car at less price of the same make. Some people think this place is great. Our experience was less than great. I've never purchased a used car without it having decent tires. This was the first place that skipped on tires. read more

Watch your paperwork closely. Sales guy said one thing and sales manager did another and we didn't catch it. Now we're out an additional 300 dollars we didn't agree to with the sales guy. Manager was very rude and unhelpful about this. read more

From home in Massachusetts, via internet, I saw that Sanderson in Auburn IA had a 2018 Ford F150 with features I wanted . . . after discussing things with the sales manager, seeing the additional photos kindly e-mailed by Mike, I decided to buy the vehicle not having seen it in person or gotten to kick the tires. The vehicle was delivered to me about a week later by a transporter: it was in great shape, clean & detailed, mechanically excellent.
