I can't say enough great things about Xtreme cleaning. I sent a request for a quote through Yelp and Jimmy responded quickly and with a fair price for a carpet repair and cleaning. I was also curious about having stone floors cleaned. He showed up on time and went above and beyond in cleaning my rugs. He even expertly repaired a small hole that we had in the carpet on the stairs. Not only that, my stone floors look like they were installed yesterday they're so clean. I do not know what to expect from a carpet cleaning company and have nothing to compare them to but nonetheless, I think they sucked dong. First of all they were late to the estimate appointment. Whatev's, I'm usually late too. Once here, they were personable and seemed like OK guys. My estimate was $120 for a living room and 2 bedrooms. I thought it was a little high but I was desperate. (It must have showed). The next day, the appointment was supposed to be at 3pm. They called me at 3:09 to tell me they wouldn't be here until 5ish. Umm no, not on a Friday night. So they came on Saturday morning (late again by 30 minutes) and met with my husband. Not knowing I was in the other room and could hear them, they tried to tell my husband that the 2nd bedroom wasn't included in the estimate. I had to come out and straighten that issue out and the guys still tried to jip me out of the room claiming my living room counted as 2 rooms. (My entire house is like 1400 sq feet, so the rooms are not big by any means. So anyway, all of the above I could deal with if they did a great job, but they didn't. The carpet looked awesome for about 48 hours and then all of the stains popped right back up (even though I paid for a pretreatment wash that Jimmy assured me would prevent reappearing stains). They also claimed to do some edge cleaning that obviously wasn't done. While I'm being petty- one last thing that ticked me off was that they specifically pointed out to me the dressers that they would and would not move. They told me of I moved the TV off of the night stand they would pull it out and clean under it. I moved the TV as they told me too and guess what? They didn't move it. I got what I deserved for not shopping around. I wanted clean carpets for people coming over, and paid 120 bucks for 2 days worth of pretty. Overall, I feel like they were the stereotypical con guys I think of when "carpet cleaners" are mentioned. read more

Jimmy Harris and his crew started off on the right foot. They were great with communication by calling to confirm, then to see if they could come early. Offered to help move furniture, etc. Very nice and polite. This was our second experience with them and love the service. This time we were using a living social deal where they cleaned our upstairs carpet and our entry and kitchen tile. We had them add on the stairs which Jimmy gave us a great deal. They are very conscious of the surroundings. We have brand new hardwoods downstairs and they have taken precautions to protect those while working. The grout is looks amazing. Not only did they clean it, but then offered for $30 to seal it. He educated me a bit on the process too which was nice. The carpet was treated for the pet urine stains so that they didn't smell after. Really appreciated the extra deals. Thank you Jimmy and crew for a great job! read more

At first, it seemed as though Xtreme Cleaning would be a great company to work with....until they show their true colors! I called on a Saturday bright and early to have a bedroom cleaned that had odor issues. Jimmy said no problem and scheduled me for later that afternoon and requested that I send a text message with my address. About 5:30 that day, I received a phone call from them to let me know they were on their way. Roughly 20 minutes later, they called back and asked me if I had forgotten about them? Somehow, they had gone to another address on the same street and mistaken it for mine. No problem I figured, mistakes can happen. Next Jimmy and Enrique entered my home to evaluate the problem. Jimmy gave me a price and also priced an additional area in my home to be completed the same day. I was content with the pricing and his knowledge to maintain the areas and decided to move forward, but unfortunately my spouse was not. My spouse spoke with Jimmy about the pricing with me along side and calmly debated the options and pricing. We mentioned the name of a competing company and Jimmy was happy to make negative comments regarding their service and quality of work.. After a few minutes of indecisiveness on my spouse's behalf, Jimmy said " I do not want to take this job" even after my spouse requested he take care of the room with the major problem. He walked away from both of us without another word or so much as saying discuss your options and call back when you make a decision. Well, 2 days later, disappointed with what had gone on earlier, I called Jimmy back to make an appointment for that day. He said no problem then I mentioned we had spoken 2 days earlier and who I was and he immediately said I'll call you back and hung up immediately. A few hours later, I still had not received a call back and all my attempts to reach him went straight to voicemail until I called back from another phone number. He answered and I mentioned I had called earlier and was promised a call back and did not receive one. Once he found out who I was, he was tongue tied and began to make excuses for not calling back. Then all of a sudden, he said he was booked up for the entire week and was happy to refer me to another company... which just happened to be the company he had bad mouthed 2 days earlier. Bottom line, in the end, Jimmy was UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISHONEST! Take your business elsewhere! read more

What an awesome experience! Engaging any service provider could be a slippery slope mostly due to failed expectations. I have a very high standard for quality work and usually expect the best return for my money. With Xtreme Cleaning I got all that and then some. Jimmy came over on time, well prepared, explained the "can do this" but "cannot do that" well, the expectation was set right, and only 2 hrs. later I was so impressed. I couldn't not believe how clean and new the entire carpet looked! It had stains, it was dirty and now it's like new. Way to go Jimmy, awesome job, good price, will use you in the future for sure! Never had such horrible service from trying to make the appointment (they would only communicate over text message), to they were 3.5 hours late after we moved our entire bedroom out to the balcony and moved the cats to the garage and after they were done and we came home an entire area still had dust and debris that wasn't cleaned. I called Jim back to have him come back out, he said he would in the next couple of days, never heard from him, called again and then he said he wasn't available for a couple of weeks and would get back to me. Never heard from him again. I'm always for giving someone a chance to make things right and I don't expect perfection, but customer service was horrible! This is the only place I have called twice to clean my carpets. I am usually not happy enough with the results to call someone to come the next time, but in this case I have been absolutely thrilled each time. They did a great job, showed up on time, and were very reasonably priced. I used a coupon from their website and they explained and apologized that what I was asking would cost a little more since my job was bigger...I was expecting that and was more than OK with it since my job WAS considerably bigger than what was specified on the coupon, I was expecting the add on to be a lot more. I will be there I'm 1 hour and he was on time he then looked at to carpet and gave me a price and he also explain if there are big dark stains he will be able to take them out but it would be a little more I really like that he was up front with his work and his carpet experience I then told him OK and told him to do the work! Extreme cleaning is the best! I've been using extreme cleaning for over 10 years, they do an awesome job. We recently bought a condo and our realtor was nice enough to get our carpets cleaned but unfortunately they didn't do a good job the guy was in and out within 1 hour. Xtreme Cleaning was absolutely amazing! I called and spoke with Jimmy on a Saturday afternoon for a move-out cleaning and he arrived with his best female cleaner by 3pm on Monday. Wow, they did such an exceptional and professional job! I really was stunned! In 3 short hours, they had a 1500 square foot, tri-level townhome shining from top to bottom. Floors, windows, baseboards, you name it, my ENTIRE KITCHEN (Refrigerator/stove/oven), and the bathrooms - unbelievable. My 3 bathrooms looked like nobody had ever used them! Not sure what Jimmy uses to get bathrooms so fabulous, but he should sell it to the public! I will be using Jimmy and Xtreme Cleaning again. This is hands down the best carpet cleaning experience I've ever had. Jimmy called ahead to let me know they were on schedule, but if for some reason that changed and they were going to be late, he'd call me back. But they arrived on time. He was very professional and friendly. After measuring and prepping my carpet for much-needed soil and stain removal, they took turns scrubbing and cleaning and going over repeatedly not just soiled areas, but all of the carpet. I could see why they took turns, it was very labor intensive (a lot of sweating!). They worked as if they were cleaning the carpet in their own homes. They raked my carpet after and provided me booties to wear until the carpet dried, which was a really nice touch. I was so impressed with their work. . .my carpet looked almost brand new and it's at least 10 years old. But as with all past carpet cleaners, I waited a few days expecting my old stains to reappear. This was my first experience with a carpet cleaning company and I was pleasantly surprised. I called in yesterday evening to one of the numbers published on their website, no answer at first (called after 5 pm, so I wasn't expecting a quick response on a Friday night) and I didn't leave a message, but I was still called back within minutes which was great, and shows that they're on top of things. I needed three rooms cleaned in my home and their prices were great! Very affordable, and I was very pleased with the results. I am glad to have found a solid company to reach out to in North County and refer in the future. I also did some shopping around before turning to Xtreme Cleaning and other local competitors were much more pricier and not quite as flexible. So it clearly pays to do some research.
