I've been wanting to try this place for a while. It located in a food court the grocery store. I thought that was pretty cool. It's nice to be able to walk and that that's plenty of food options to go with the matcha. It was so hot outside, so I was glad to have something to help me cool down. I got the matcha latte with oatmlk and the matcha hojicha mixed soft serve. The matcha hit the spot, though the latte was a bit grainy, not sure if that was because of the oat milk or the actual matcha. I enjoyed the soft serve. It's pretty strong though and to me was a bit bitter, but that could have been the hojicha. Plenty of open seating to chose from to enjoy the treat and have a nice hang out.

3.5 stars I only got one item: Matcha Float ($9.20). This is definitely on the pricier side. I think it's safe to say that there can be too much of a good thing because matcha was rich and a little too much for me. The powder was grainier than I'd like. It's a decent quality matcha! Just too much for me. I guess I should have stuck with a latte.

For a guy who doesn't always like the taste of matcha I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet tastiness of the protein matcha I ordered here. It was very refreshing. They have a matcha for every kind of mood you're in. Check it out if you're at the Mitsuwa in the Del Amo mall.

Before visiting, I've been wanting to go to this place for a while. And until I got close I didn't realize it's located in the food court of the Mitzuwa market. It took me a while to get in the area so I actually got here right at closing. The kind folks here still allowed me to order, even though it was right at closing. I went with the Koicha Einspanner and not only was it aesthetically pleasing, but it was refreshing and showcased the flavor of their matcha. The place and vibe here was chill. Pretty much how it is at any Japanese market food court if you've been.

Everything is so good here!!! If you are looking for authentic matcha, this is the place! They have drinks to desserts! I wish there was a location in Northern CA! The next time I am in town, I need to come back and try other items at this store. I hope to come back again someday! Service was excellent!

If you're into desserts that aren't too sweet, the matcha soft serve here is perfect for you. The matcha soft serve itself was creamy and smooth. The matcha flavor was bitter, but in a good way. It was earthy and not too weak which I liked. It was also super aesthetic with the chocolate square which provided a nice and sweet contrast to the bitter matcha. Definitely a high quality dessert. This spot is located inside the Mitsuwa marketplace food court area with parking outside shared with the Del Amo mall. It can get pretty packed in the area. I would get the soft serve here again, but I am a bit skeptical about getting the drinks here. That's because the matcha drinks look super diluted based on the color.

Located in the Mitsuwa marketplace. There was a small line when we went but service is quick. If you enjoy strong, authentic matcha, this is the place to try. High quality matcha for the price you're paying! Not only do they have drinks but also soft serve. I went with the strong uji Matcha Green Tea (without any diary/non diary options) and enjoyed the matcha taste with the hint of sweetness. 10/10. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Yamato absolutely deserves five stars. This place is a gem, and the matcha alone is worth the visit. Hands down the best matcha I have ever had. It is rich, smooth, perfectly balanced, and tastes incredibly high quality without being bitter or overly sweet. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared and authentic, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. You can really tell care goes into what they serve, especially when it comes to their matcha. If you love matcha or are even just curious about trying a truly excellent one, Yamato is a must visit. I will absolutely be coming back just for that matcha alone.

Ambiance: it's located near the entrance of Mitsuwa grocery store Service: so slow and disorganized, it's essentially a one person stand, and it took a long time to place the order and receive the drink Drink: fixed menu and inflexible, and they can't adjust sweetness or ice level Matcha Latte - *** hot, plain taste Price: overpriced for its mediocre quality, not worth $8 per drink

If you're looking for good quality, ceremonial-grade matcha goodies, Yamari Matcha is one of our go-tos. Located inside the Mistuwa Marketplace (convenient when running errands), service is quick and easy on a weekday. Weekends are a little tricky especially when there's a line. But overall it's an easy order, grab and go for a food court. Best eaten after a yummy tempura bowl ( or plate, depending on how hungry you are) over at Carlos Tempura.

Ujicha will be the most intense matcha experience you will encounter (and the addition of the shirataki (mochi balls) and anko (red bean) complete the experience. Tamari's service staff is friendly, youthful and customer-focused. An order and take-away sharing the large food court seating allows you to add this and that to your meal from many different sources, including Mitsuwa Market itself. Yamari has some purest form of matcha soft-serve of the many different places in So Cal, and has less sweetness than most others allowing the high-grade matcha powder used to shine through, even in the Premium parfaits. Wish they had a take home pint available, but until then it's a great option inside this varied food court. And... parking is often a waiting match at this end of the mall.

Drink: Matcha Au Lait uses matcha from Uji Kyoto Service: friendly & made-to-order service Design: beautiful Japanese matcha authentic designs & styling Overall: if you want authentic and really, high quality matcha drinks and ice cream, then this is a must

Yamari is one of those places we will always stop by whenever we're in the area. It's become a must for us. The matcha here is freshly whisked and consistently excellent. You can taste the care and technique in every cup--nothing rushed, nothing diluted. This is matcha (and hojicha) for people who genuinely enjoy nuance, depth, and the natural flavor of tea. It's unsweetened and unapologetically so, which we really appreciate. If you're used to overly sweetened drinks, this may not be for you--but if you love true tea character, this place delivers. Consistency is another big reason we keep coming back. Every visit tastes just as good as the last, which says a lot. The ambiance is simple but charming. It feels like a small Japanese stall tucked inside a supermarket--casual, cozy, and authentic. You're still very much in a market setting, but that's part of the appeal and adds to the experience rather than taking away from it. Yamari is a gem for anyone who values well-made, traditional matcha and hojicha. No frills, no excessive sweetness--just excellent tea done right.

It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. I think, great since my elderly Dad is diabetic and shouldn't have a lot of ice cream, so I went with that but in a waffle cone, she said that would be $3.50. I said that's fine, I will have one in flavor A and the other one in flavor B, total came to $7.35 And I asked her to put the ice cream cone in a cup, so it would be easier for him to eat in the car as it was extremely hot that day, and I don't want it to drip all over the car. When she gave me the ice cream, it was both flavor in one cone. I told her I wanted 2 separate cone instead of all in one. And then she said it would be another $7, I was in a hurry, so didn't really put too much thoughts into it, and just charge it. So now I look at my charges, so it turns out the same serving, one is at $7.35 and the other is $7. When I get the ice cream, I asked her, so there nothing that is smaller than this. She said there is, but not in a waffle cone, it will be extra with a waffle cone. So I asked $2.50 in a regular cone and additional $3.50 for the waffle cone? She said yes!! I am still confused as to whether they have a smaller serving than small and how much it is. I check on the pricing people posted here and don't see a $2.50/$3.50 smaller size showing. It remains a mystery to me, and I really wanted to know as it will be a hot summer, both my elderly parents, who are diabetic, would probably asked for ice cream, and I really don't want them to have a small each on their own, since it is still a decent size and they don't like the same flavor, so they can't really share a small one.

When we politely brought up the taste of the bingsu with an employee (a young man with glasses and shoulder-length hair), he became defensive, spoke to us rudely, and walked away in the middle of the conversation before we could finish explaining the issue. At that point, we weren't even complaining about the delayed taiyaki. We simply wanted to let them know something seemed wrong with the dessert. We did eventually receive an apology for the delayed taiyaki, but only after we asked about the reason for the delay. The employee explained that he had mixed up our order with another table. I've supported Okrumong for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes, and a delayed order or a food quality issue can happen. What really stood out was how the situation was handled. I hope the management takes customer service more seriously, because this visit was far below the standard I've come to expect from Okrumong.

First the food size is becoming ridiculous (au gratin potatoes so small) The service is where I'm shocked, the waiting staff turnover is crazy. I was there last Sunday evening (05/24) and one of the waiter with a French accent looks like he just started that day, he was clueless about the menu, didn't know what was the soup of the day, and very inattentive to our table (water refill, empty plates...) like he just wanted our tips ! Also I'm sorry about that one but he had a foul smell like he just finished working out... the table next to us was saying the same thing. I came back on Friday (05/29)early afternoon and seen the same waiter still no refill and same foul smell Im going to try their other locations in PV or Hermosa and see if I'm lucky and they're like that location used to be
