I stopped coming here once ownership changed (think the son of original owner took over) they changed the menu and removed some of my favorite items. Decided to go here for Breakfast with my family last Sunday 2/22/19 to give it another try. We were helped by Rosie who was absolutely fantastic and you could tell loves her job. But the reason I am giving this one stars is because the current owner came in and I had to listen for nearly 20 minutes as he belittled and yelled at the two female workers on staff. I was absolutely appalled that an owner/boss can be so degrading and mean to his staff. It really upset me. I have worked in management and have never seen anyone in my entire career be so disrespectful. I refuse to support an establishment that really mistreats and abuses their staff. I tried to cheer the staff up even giving them a small gift for xmas. I also told them that they truly deserve better than this and that if I were in their shoes I'd find a better employer. read more

This is a great little stop on the way to the beach. I was on the way to the beach with my family and decided to stop for a bite to eat. Off the bat I thought the place was very clean and the rest room offered a changing table for my baby. That's always a plus because many places don't offer that. I had the chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was cooked/seasoned perfectly. My husband had the Gyro plate and he loved the taste of the lamb. He said it was comparable to the gyros they sell in Vegas. The staff was also very friendly. Overall I would recommend this place and come back to try out more food from their menu. read more

I've been eating at Yanni's for many years and they've always deliver delicious food. It's been two months since I've been to Yanni's so I was looking forward to our usual and I was truly disappointed. I order our usual Greek salad with chicken and extra pita bread and the hamburger combo. The salad was missing the chicken and my French fries looked and tasted horrible. I have experienced in the fast food industry so I know what food looks and taste like when it's dipped in hot oil multiple times. Update 6/16/20 this afternoon Vanessa at the Yanni's drive through restored my confidence she went above and beyond providing excellent customer services not only did she triple check my order she confirmed exactly everything I order including sides and the best part it took her minutes to get my order ready. The food is great but the wait could use some work. Drive through right now has 4 cars in front of me and two behind me and I have not moved at all for 20 minuets. I would leave but I am stuck in line. Final got to the menu board and was asked to wait a moment before ordering. 10 minuets later they have a male employee ask me for my order. I asked for 6 corn dogs and two fries. Then a female employee comes on and asks me for the order again. For some reason she kept getting hot dogs confused with corn dogs. Final a third person also female employee comes on and confirmed my order. I have now been waiting for 40 minuets in a drive through. I understand this is not fast food like CARLS JR or Taco Bell so I don't understand a little long of a wait but at this rate we will hit 1 hour before I even get to the window to pay! Normally when you see a menu as large as Yanni's you might be advised to walk away. It is difficult to be great at so many things. We did not walk away and are quite glad we stayed for dinner. I ordered the hercules hamburger with fries - - - more burger than any man should eat and very tasty. My wife tried the chicken kabobs and they were just as tasty. Hate to say this was there worst falafel I've ever had. Wanted to get the falafel pita dairy free, so tried to sub the tzatziki with hummus only to find out they don't have hummus. I would have given this place 5 stars for their great food. The reason for the three stars is for their service. Specifically one worker that usually lacks the competence to take down the order right and then gives you attitude when trying to correct her. I understand when a restaurant is busy and some things will be made incorrectly but even on the slowest days she seems to always get orders wrong. I come here because the food is great and usually hope someone else is taking my order. I would not be leaving this review if it wasn't for knowing that she has been working there for longer than two years. I'm also livid because after what seemed was a twenty minute debate with this worker on how I wanted and how their online menu says their veggie burrito is made, it ended up having sausage in it. I really question the hygiene here. So we had ordered our food and just as the girl was handing us our cups the other girl towards the back kinda screamed. I look down on ground and see what looked like a roach running across the floor. The bug startled the worker who had been carrying the paper basket liners. She dropped the liners on the floor. We sat there for about 30 second watching her put the liners one by one back in the baskets and stacking the baskets for the next lucky order. I mean hey , I'm a camper and am used to bugs and what not. But no thanks when my food is placed on a liner that just came off the dirty floor.
