Yes the teeeeeny tiny historic district of Yaphank has a pizza place - albeit combined with a deli. LOL So going in expectations were spot on. Small store - one other customer sitting leisurely at a table reading. I saw a few varieties of skices being kept cool in the refrigerated glass counter. Spotted a few regular slice pies. Went with that - their basic skice! So not chewy ooey gooey... no not that... Instead- Thin crust - nicely crisped- saucy flavorful slices. Would stop there again when in the area for that plain crispy slice. read more

Again, it's the closest pizza place to where I work. When I'm pressed for time and want a slice I come here. It seems the regular cheese pie and Sicilian are fresh. They are decent. The specialty slices are refrigerated so I wonder how long they've been there. One & done. Tried one my first time here and not really willing to give another shot because you can't tell how long they've been sitting there. Decent cheese slice. People who work there are always so nice. Have yet to try the lunch specials but probably will soon. read more

The Garlic Knotts and cecilian pizza are always undercooked and lacks sauce! After Several times ordering from there, Never Again! If another pizzeria takes over it wouldn't be a bad thing ! I don't recommend ordering from there. read more

For starters, it's not the best pizza you'll ever eat. However, it is good pizza, and each pizza comes with coupons for next time. It's a small mom-and-pop shop that thrives on local business. The interior of the business has limited seating and there is zero outdoor seating. Now for the food. We ordered three pies from here: sausage, veggie, and cheese. The sausage was more cheese than sausage. For some reason they skimped out on the sausage but on the veggie, they overloaded the entire pie with a massive amount of onion. Also, the veggie has just ONION, a few bell peppers, and a small number of mushrooms. Out of all three pies, the cheese was the best. The cheese pizza had an incredible taste to it, which made it very delicious. The ratio of crust to sauce was perfect on all three pies. Honestly, this is not a bad place and, if I'm in the area again, I'd give them another shot. Try this place for yourself and you be the judge. read more

Let me start by saying this is NOT even close to typical NY style pizza.. I mean what an insult to the hardworking Italians slaving over a fresh pot of sauce.. First and foremost the bottom crust was limp, like when it bends in the middle and the cheese flops off! Stepping around the fact that it was white cheese instead of that beautiful orange glow we all know and love .. It had no real flavor at all, likely due to the sauce:cheese ratio being way off. I mean I knew when I opened the box it was a mistake; that says something.. The garlic knots and rice ball were clearly not fresh. Which speaks poorly of their weekend volume The rice ball crust was soft, instead of crunchy.. But the kind of soft that is impossible to cut through with a fork.. And the garlic knots had grated cheese sprinkled over the grease which then formed a bumpy paste that added nothing to the stale bread. Thank god for breath assures. It was reasonably priced but not worth it .. Not even a little bit. If you want good pizza, fresh counter food and to avoid the discomfort Im feeling in my gastrointestinal tract - avoid this place. read more

This place is reminiscent of a typical NY City pizza 'parlor'. It's bare bones in the interior, but they spin pies from dawn til dusk. Fresh pizza is a big win for me. This pizza is good. Not too thick, not too thin. Just the right balance of sauce and cheese. I've tried some of the specialty slices, pinwheels, pops, etc. too. Great FOOD......what can I say. You walk in there and are greated with a smile and a "Hello , how may I help you" When I ordered my dinner ,( they have a TV on in there) I had my daughter with me and asked someone to put on the Disney channel while we had our dinner. No problem .....Disney channel was put on for my daughter. I sat there and noticed every one who went to the counter were greated by their name. Arthur and Collen are the owners,great people by the way.This place should be called "CHEERS", because every one knows your name. I noticed the owners are very humble people. You actually feel warm and fuzzy inside , God knows my daughter and I did !! If you do not see something on the menu asked them and they will make it for you. All of the food is great , I asked a couple of customers they said "YES" all of the food is "GREAT"! Considering long island is known for exceptional pizza i would say this place falls below the average in quality. Their prices are very fair. They will not let you pay over the phone with a card for delivery (which is the only pizza place i know who does this). All things considered, i would say, if you have to have pizza and you are either desperate or lazy this will work. It isn't terrible, but 3 miles up the road is a better option, but unfortunately they do not deliver. read more
