Chicken avocado sandwich, Sweet potato fries, Cheese pizza

Last time I had yard house it was years ago and all the way in California, but it was always my favorite as a kid and now I remember why. They do every dish with such refinement and culinary expertise that no matter what you order, you know it'll be good quality. With that in mind, the price is also super reasonable making this a great casual dinner option when you're looking for something a little more upscale while not being overly fancy-- coming here you know you'll still get some nice simple comfort food done well. In addition, the service was so sweet and personable. They were attentive without being overbearing and joyful without pushing it or feeling fake. There's a sense of ease and enjoyment about dining here and I'm so impressed by how the flavors continue to deliver!

Yard house is the best place to go before a Red Sox game. This is a classic sports bar with lots of seating. It is always super busy, so get there early! The food was good for bar food. The fries were tasty, the chicken sandwich was good, and the nachos were great! All great stuff to split. The drinks are where this place shines. They do huge "half yard" drinks that are definitely worth it! So fun and pretty inexpensive given how big.

1st time reviewer, long time reader. Came in after visiting the Franklin Zoo with 3 hungry kids in tow and 3 adults in need of a beer on a Friday during the start of their dinner rush. We were not rushed, but taken care of in a timely manner. Questions were answered professionally and honestly (love honest servers). Our food was hot and on point. Crispy and delicious cheese curds (our girls demolished them). Not to mention our server Max was top notch. Gave us some great advice for first time Boston visitors and suggestions on places to visit and was very personable. 10/10 recommend.

    Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Came here on a whim on a Tuesday night, to be honest, expected it to be more crowded. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps to start, which were decent, though not the best I've had. The tofu or sauce added a mild mushroom flavor, and the wonton cup was difficult to break and was kind of bland. However it was surprisingly super filling! Next I had the grilled chicken avocado burger without Swiss, and the chicken was very juicy (or greasy? Couldn't tell) but had the tiniest bit of avocado ever. My friend got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, said he did not enjoy. The chicken was thick but overly fried and way too greasy- the bottom bun was soaked through. Otherwise our waitress was super attentive and warned us about longer wait times due to new staff training, checked in on our meal, etc. Overall fine experience, unsure if I would come back but is a fine choice since they stay open late!

Adam was the best bartender ever, and he made our quick stop for a beer and bite fun and worthy of lingering for one more! We arrived pretty much as they opened for lunch and while we had our pick of tables, we opted for the bar so we could take in all the unique and interesting taps up close. Thatsa lottsa taps! Adam made some recommendations, gave us a couple of samples so we could decide and overall helped us navigate the selection until we all found something we liked. All the gmdood we ordered was great. My husband is STILL talking about the wings!

Yard house is the place to be for the NBA finals Game 4 Celtics! There was a line just to get inside around 7:30 and then we put our name down for a table and they said it could be an hour and half wait! We decided to go hang around the bar - which there was standing room only - at least they have a little counter there so you can order drinks there. We did so and waited and luckily after about 35 minutes our table was ready- whew! TVs everywhere perfect viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. It got really crowded as the game started. The games in a tough spot right now but that perhaps means there might be a game 5 in Boston....who knows! It's only third quarter things could still turnaround. I ordered the spicy jambalaya- my usual order - big portion. It was good and of course I have enough leftovers. The hubs got a burger which he really liked and a friend got the pork burger. For dessert the cheesecake brûlée was really nice - never had one - very creamy with the brûlée crust - yummy! For drinks I had the buzz-free mojito - I figured the whole place was buzzing so I didn't need any more ha ha! The hubs had the Hawaiian mule and friend got a beer (dogfish). Our server Sofia was nice and attentive. Never seen the place this crowded before. Lots of people near the bar and also near the tables. Overall great time at Yard house!

No way this should have a low rating. The food is FANTASTIC, the atmosphere is LIVELY, the service is FAST+FRIENDLY. What more do you people want? Anyone rating below 4 is not being honest. Perhaps the coastal elite continue their war on "chain restaurants". I say enough. This is an easy 5 stars. PS get the wings (lemon pepper, Korean chili are very good) or the poke nachos for extra delicious bites.

My dinner partner had the foie gras dish, and it was also great! I definitely want to come back. Just do not order cocktails, haha. Maybe I'm too old, but fine dining should involve that refinement. Stop calling yourself fine dining and call it expensive food with uppity servers and no dress code. Food was amazing- so please know I would absolutely go back for the food! We had lobster bisque, the best Caesar salad (top 5), calm chowder, shrimp and clams, lamb and a fillet. During our meal just after the lovely table side service of the lobster bisque my son accidentally moved the table with his feet and the drinks flew into my food. Our server watched it happen and walked away. She turned not to help but out of disgust walked the other way! The food runner came to the rescue! But then we were charged for another drink that spilled! I don't know but when your at fine dining and you get double charged for a table moving and treated like you are an inconvenience that gets me. Plus she was clearly angry with us. Food 5 stars, service 2, price for the service we received totally not worth it. Don't waste your money to get treated badly. Sorry kitchen but front of the house ruined it.

You can immediately tell this place takes pride in what they do, especially when you see the chefs in action. Watching them work with the freshly made dough and expertly handle the pizza oven added such a fun and authentic touch to the experience. The food was absolutely incredible. The pizza was hands down one of the best we've had--perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and full of flavor in every bite. We also ordered the cucumber salad, which was refreshing, light, and the perfect complement to the richness of the pizza. Everything about our visit felt thoughtfully done, from the quality of the food to the energy of the space. If you're in Boston and looking for a spot with amazing pizza, fresh ingredients, and a great vibe, The Salty Pig is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back! From start to finish, we had an amazing experience here. We ate here on Sunday. They open at 11:30am. We got in line around 11:00 am, and there were already dozens of people waiting in line for them to open . Around opening time, the owner came out and personally greeted everyone as they came into the restaurant. He was so friendly. He greeted passers-by on the street and talked with the locals. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. They provided recommendations and offered suggestions. We sat at a window table and were able to see out at the boats. It was cute and quaint inside! I got a cup of the clam chowder. I 100% recommend it! They add dill and omit the pork, which made it so delicious! My friend and I split the fish and chips, and it was more than enough for two people. The fish was cooked perfectly and the fries (chips) were crispy without being too crunchy. We added a bit of pepper to our fish, and my goodness does that make a difference.
