Our first server was very nice but timid and did not check on our table much however at shift change we got a very confident, quick server who we loved. Just like the servers, our first drinks took over 20 minutes to come out despite there only being 4 other tables but our second round was much quicker. Nice Concept, But Execution Falls Short for a Big Night Out We had a big group -- more than 15 of us -- and dropped a good chunk of money on this dinner, so yeah, we were hoping for a solid night. Sadly, it didn't quite come together. Honestly, the service was what got us the most. You could tell the staff genuinely wanted to make it work -- they weren't indifferent or rude -- but wanting it and delivering it are two different things. Two people in our group never got their complete meals. At a table our size, that's a tough one to overlook. Drinks were taking 20, sometimes 30 minutes to show up, and at some point, we just stopped expecting them to come at all. Then there was the music. I don't mind a lively atmosphere, but this was something else. We asked the manager -- more than once -- to please turn it down, and each time they nodded and smiled and... nothing changed. Trying to have a conversation felt like shouting across a concert. That wears on you after a while. Food-wise, it wasn't all bad. The appetizers were genuinely good and got our hopes up. But the main plates kind of let us down. We shared the fish for two, and it was just flat -- no real flavor, nothing memorable. For the price, we expected a little more love on the plate. Look, it's not a terrible place. But it's charging top-dollar prices and delivering a mid-level experience. I celebrated my birthday here and also came for the Greek Independence Day celebration and had 2 great meals. I love the upscale vibe of the restaurant and the quality service. This is a high-end greek spot next to the ICA (the space used to be a Wagamama) its a large, airy, very modern and attractive space with a lot of outside seating (in better weather). Service was attentive and friendly . They have a nice $30 lunch deal 7 days a week until 3pm, where you get to choose a starter, main and dessert. (See attached menu photos.) I got the greek salad which was on the smaller side but appropriate for an appetizer in a pre-fix meal with tomato, cucumbers, red onion, creamy feta and one brave little black olive (there could lhave been a couple more) Simple but fresh and flavorful. For my entree I has the Scottish (not Greek?) salmon with chef's choice of vegetables which today were one large piece each of carrot, brocolli and cauliflower with lemon and capers on the salmon, which was perfectly grilled. It was light, very fresh, and the veggies were perfectly crisp/tender. Quite impressive for such a simple dish. (Though I had to laugh at literally ONE piece of each vegetable -- thought the food was more than enough to satisfy me.) Because I'm eating keto, I had Greek yogurt with walnut and the thyme honey on the side (which i didn't have). It was still a nice end to the meal. There are other more carby choices, on the prixe fixe menu, some with a upcharge. The menu is rather pricey (the salmon alone on the regular menu is $39 alone, so I feel like I got a deal here. This is a very fancy restaurant! We went for my mother in law's birthday dinner and some of us were definitely underdressed (oops). Everything we ordered was tasty, but for the price point, I didn't feel like there was anything that special about the food. After being seated in the cutest booth, we were served warm bread with fresh cut basil for our olive oil. A nice touch and a good start to our dinner. I got a glass of rose so I can't comment on the drinks, but my friend got a mocktail and enjoyed it. We got the zucchini chips as an appetizer which we liked. For dinner, got the Chilean sea bass, absolutely loved it! Cooked perfectly and the additional favors of the other ingredients (corn, pancetta) brought everything together beautifully. My friend got the lamb chops - she thought they could've been a little more seasoned, but when she asked for more of the balsamic glaze (there wasn't much on the lamb), that brought the flavors together better. It was such an odd mis-match of vibes - I have no idea how the people sitting right in front of the music were still able to hear each other. If they had added a small dance floor or moved some of the tables further back, it would have made more sense. At some point, they cranked the volume way, way up even as people were still eating. My friend and I were in mid-sentence when the sound ramped up with zero warning. That said, the DJ and the violinist were absolutely incredible - honestly, the staid atmosphere was just a waste of their talents. They ought to have been performing in a club with a more appreciative crowd. The playlist in particular spanned everything from early 2000 pop hits to more niche throwbacks from the 80s/90s to Arab/African house tracks. The violinist too brought such a dynamic vibe. It was like a very small piece of the NYC club scene got plopped into a Boston restaurant and brought fond memories of my early 20s. On this Sunday afternoon, it wasn't too busy inside. We were able to be seated immediately. Joseph was our server and he was really friendly and helpful with our questions about the menu. We had about 5 different dishes for the table, all beautifully prepared. The sauce was too sweet on one of them, and the chef took notes, and the manager comped it for us. Above and beyond. The service was so attentive, with the manager present and engaging with guests. Excellent teamwork. Everyone there but us was in their 20s and 30s, probably because after dinner hours (which end earlier on Boston than in BYC), the place becomes a hot night spot. The experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. The person at the front was so rude and unwelcoming that it immediately put us in a bad mood--before we even had a chance to sit down. First impressions matter, and this was a terrible one. This is absolutely the wrong person to have greeting customers. So I gave it a 3 stars for the food and deducted the 2 stars for the service I got. Service: I was a walk in guest and asked if there was any tables, the host told me it was fully booked tonight (even though there was literally so many empty seats). I walk out and check online to make a rsvp. There were so many tables open from 5-8. So I made a rsvp and walked right back in. She proceeded to tell me "Im glad you guys cane back there was a cancellation on the rsvp". Ok... got seated orders taken, appetizers came out within 10 minutes. The entree took 20, not too long not too fast I guess was just surprised. When we got the food, they didn't even ask us if we needed anything else nor did they notice that we were missing a fork. Had to wait a long time just to get someone to get me a fork. Towards the end we were waiting for our waiter to get the check and takeout boxes, but he was no where to be found. When the manager walked by I asked if he could get us the boxes, he said he will find someone for me. He never even did because the waiter finally came back and I had to ask him again. Service was just slow. Food: I really enjoyed the octopus, it was full of flavor and easy to chew. The fish was very good as well. The steak was not bad, if only they had better steak knives. I could barely cut mine with their steak knife... Ambiance: as we were leaving it did get more packed. The bathroom was pretty neat and clean. I liked how big and roomy the restaurant was. I came here because I saw this on the Boston calendar and it was Sinatra night. I love Frank Sinatra so naturally, I had to make a reservation and was a wonderful experience. The place was contemporary chic and was packed. We were seated at a nice booth, and there is a great view of the restaurant and far away from the band where I can have a conversation and listen to some good tunes. We ordered the grilled octopus and tuna tartare to start which were amazing then I had the best chilean Sea bass and sampled the lamb shank which was a fall of the bone experience. Dessert was big enough to share for two. I had the orange cake and it was amazing. The music in the background was great and on their break they put Greek traditional music on and the staff was waving napkins in the air and I squeezed a little Greek dancing on my way to the ladies. I really want to give this place five stars, but there was a delay to get our cocktails first because the appetizers came out beforehand. Our server grabbed them immediately when he was aware. Then he almost forgot the our tuna tartare because he wanted to ask us if we were ready for the main course and we reminded him we're still waiting for the tuna Tartare. The server gave us complimentary cappuccino which were not great, and we got them spilt on the saucer and we asked the helper if he can give us a napkin. Instead of just giving us a new saucer and wiping the cup, he just placed a bunch of cocktail napkins on the saucer to soak it up. Lastly, when the bill came, the second Prosecco's was charged $17 versus the initial $14 Prosecco I had. The server did offer to give us a difference in cash, but we just wanted to inform him. Also, he also accidentally broke the candle votive but had it swept immediately. I appreciated the lunch special - $30 for an app, entree, and dessert. The tomatoes in the Greek salads we got were huge, accompanied with all sorts of veggies but no lettuce. My salmon entree was flavorful, and the dessert (raspberry and lemon sorbet) was yummy. Service was fine, my waitress kept filling my glass with sparkling water even though I kept asking for still. We split the grilled haloumi and octopus starters which were excellent. I also really enjoyed my avgolemono soup but I've never had it with carrots and celery before so it was a bit more of a chicken and veggie soup. Still yummy but not quite what I was expecting. Warning that the crab cake is one bite. Then I tried the Dorade fish and Salmon for entrees, just basic grilled fish with lemon and steamed veggies. Cooked to perfection though! We had guests in town for the Easter weekend and decided to go to Limani Grille which is just across from the ICA. It is a gorgeous space and the service was beyond compare. Mario was so attentive and helped us decide what we would like best on the extensive menu. We started with some freshly made bread with a fine olive oil for dipping and, to share, the Limani chips, grilled calamari, Maryland crab cakes and lemon potatoes. The spiked cucumber lemonade, red sangria and some glasses of wine were a nice lead in to the lunch of either the avgolemono soup or lentil soup and prasini salads with chicken.
