I've always had Fun here. I like their patio. They have a really chill/ relaxing atmosphere, great food, and upscale service. I love their giant bar and all their unique drink varieties. This is the only restaurant That has survived in the Colorado mills mall and it's for obvious reasons. I'm really glad this is so close to my house. read more

I've been to the Yard House a couple times before (once here, and once in Rancho Mirage, CA) and always thought it was 'fine'. I remember a good beer selection and a good burger. That still holds true, but what really set tonight's visit apart was the patient, kind, and actively caring service by Michelle. I sat down with a colleague, and another joined us a few minutes later, and we were so busy just chatting that it took us a long time to get organized and order. Michelle made sure we were comfortable and checked on us regularly but never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. It was a very nice touch. read more

Not busy at all for a Saturday. Only positive experience I had here was the hostess. Servers could care less about the guest and care more about gossip/talking amongst themselves. I almost walked out since it took forever to even be acknowledged once seated. Took 15 minutes for the server of my table come over and get drink order. I saw them talking with other servers from time I sat down til they came and got the drink order. I suspect that they didn't put my food order in right away because it took about 1 hr to get food once I ordered. Food was ok. Could have been a lot warmer. I work in the retail business where customers 1st is the number 1 priority and would be fired if I stood around talking before taking care of the customer, here it seems like the last priority. I was pleasantly surprised that a "chain" beer pub(?) could have a GREAT selection of beer & decent food! We're from AZ and although we have the Yard House chain here, it's pretty far from where we live. As we were visiting the downtown Denver area on our way to Fort Collins, we'd thought we'd get some drinks & apps. We happened upon their happy hour and although it was quite busy, we were seated in ~ 5 min (for 3). The Spicy Tuna roll was not your usual sushi "roll"...it was more like a "tower" that was a "deconstructed" roll. REALLY DELICIOUS!! The service was EXCELLENT!!!! If all businesses had employees like the Yard House....there wouldn't be any ratings below a 3!! We will definitely be back when we visit again!! read more

The place is very decent. The hostess was a bit cocky I guess to keep the boundary defined. The waitress was sweet and friendly. She went on her brake and a waiter took over. No complaint about either one. I liked the calamari. It was crisp and not oily at all. The beer and entree were recommended by the waitress. Both were very good.. The salmon dish was called Norwegian Salmon. I substituted veggies for the mash potato which was basically my contribution to my health today. I should do more of that. I also ordered another beer. The place is a bit pricy and the seater could be a bit more friendly. The beer's price was really good though and one thing to be happy about. I may come back one more time while I am here if I can't find another place to try. I recommend that you try this for yourself. read more

I have been to Yard House twice in the past week and had one good experience and one bad. The first time I ordered the Swiss avocado burger and a chicken tender app. It was all very good but the kitchen was very slow and I had to wait about 40 min for my food. The second time I went the kitchen was even slower! I couldn't believe how long I was waiting for my food. The happy hour food deals seemed to be great value because of the half price apps but come to find the appetizers I ordered were not good at all. (Spicy tuna roll and ahi sashimi). I love food like that but here it was not good. Overall I sent back my Bloody Mary and the spicy tuna roll, I just couldn't bring myself to eat or drink it. Staff was nice and the restaurant is really nice. I may go back one day for a burger as long as I have plenty of free time that day. read more

The yard house is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, but the downtown location is not the best. It is very loud and hard to hear anyone even from across the table and the wait is always extremely long (disappointing that they don't take reservations). The park meadows location is better when it comes to the noise level. Regardless, I love the atmosphere and the food is always delicious. I recommend the truffle fries and the chicken tenders as an appetizer. The chicken is moist and crispy and the fries are to die for! Perfect amount of truffle and Parmesan. The pasta is delicious as well and so are the tacos! It's nice how they offer half orders or full orders because I always order a lot of food! I really enjoy the Yard House. I took my wife there for dinner and post-work drinks on a Monday evening. This is a large restaurant, and I've been there several times when it's full, so I was surprised to see quite a few empty tables when we got there around 5:15. Still, the restaurant was noisy, and I felt like the music was blaring. Happy hour runs until 6:00. There are drink and appetizer specials. The wife and I ordered buffalo wings, chicken fingers, and the California Roll. The wings have a few choices for sauce, but we chose traditional buffalo. The sauce is spot-on for what I look for in a buffalo wing. It has a vinegar tang, and is about medium spicy. The chicken strips were delicious. They seem like they're breaded in-house with a crispy breading and plenty of meat inside the chicken strip. They're served on a bed of french fries. The California roll was a strange sort of deconstructed California roll. The server warned me not to expect a traditional California roll. It was delicious. This is a menu item that I would go to the Yard House specifically to eat. It was filling, there was plenty of meat, quite a bit of rice, and a wedge of fresh avacado. It's served on a plate with sesame oil and soy sauce rimming the plate. The flavors melded perfectly, and the crab was not the least bit fishy. For dessert, we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream. It's a fresh-baked brownie served in a pan. It comes warm. It was good, but it wasn't something that I would go out of my way to order again. The Yard House has plenty of other desserts that I would prefer to try, but the brownie was the only thing that my wife and I could agree on. The Yard House is a big corporate restaurant. This bodes well for them because the experience is well-crafted for the customer. The beer selection is huge, and so is the menu. The food quality is very good. This combination makes the Yard House a great place to go to eat or drink, and you get an excellent value during happy hour. read more
