I would call it "upscale international fusion with some American classics." I ordered the Korean Beef Bibimbap and my friend ordered the Cajun Blackened Chicken. The bibimbap was served hot in a stone bowl and I was instructed that I could let it cook longer for crispiness, or mix right away. I chose to wait a bit and was rewarded with indeed a nice crispy bite when I scraped up the rice. Both dishes were satisfyingly filling on their own, real entree sizes. But, I didn't think it was worth the cost of entry, especially with pricy mocktails and $7 sparkling water. It's definitely a place to have a conversation since plates did take a while to come out. Funnily enough I had some colleagues sitting nearby that really raved over the honey glazed tomahawk pork chop. So I'd recommend that for a special occasion, if you've got a bigger wallet than I do. Our friend had recommended this restaurant and I had made reservations for 6 at 6:45pm for Friday evening, days prior. We did arrive early with our family who is visiting us for the week, and were told there were new hostesses who had given our table away. We waited in the lobby for the right amount of time however we were a little confused initially because they wanted to sit us at two separate tables which was odd... & 'the best they could do with the restaurants new onset of conference guests' - both had high chairs and a wall separating our group from one another. Made a reservation for Monday at 6:15 for a business dinner along with a coworkers birthday. The reservation requires a credit card to charge a cancellation fee. We got seated immediately at a very comfortable booth and our server was amazing and attentive. I ordered carne tacos which was absolutely loaded and came with a side of tortilla chips and salsa. A small group of us came in for dinner on a weeknight. We made reservations, which is a good thing as they were quite busy when we arrived. Our server, Linda was FABULOUS! She was very helpful and attentive and she kept a good eye on our party. She also was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent service. The menu was loaded with many appetizing options, it was tough to decide. I chose their Spicy Calabrian Pasta and I have to say it was FABULOUS! Actually, just returned from a couple of weeks in Italy recently and the flavors of this pasta rivaled some of the better pasta dishes I had there! I got it with the add-on of chicken and at Linda's suggestion, I tried it blackened. I didn't think the flavors would work with the Calabrian pasta's sauce, but they totally worked great together! And that chicken was easily the most tender, moist chicken breast I've ever had at a restaurant! Most of the time restaurant's chicken breast add-ons are dry and flavorless, but not this one! My wife got the Shrimp and Scallop Spaghettini and those the pasta and sauce were fabulous, she said the shrimp and scallops were not good at all, they were over-cooked. She didn't complain about this, because she enjoyed the pasta so much and was full from eating just it. They have a nice wine and cocktail list as well and we enjoyed items from it during our stay. Save room for dessert, their Key Lime pie is excellent! It's definitely better than most restaurants I've had it at. It was $23.75 and it was an extra $3.00 for broccolini as my side of which I only received a couple pieces (making it $26.75). The burger was "tough" using my wife's choice of words. I took a bite and agreed. It was flavorful but tasted as if it came to the restaurant as a pressed patty, not made with all the imperfections and freshness done in the kitchen before your order. The tacos were good, a significant helping of slaw made them larger than the steak on the tacos themselves. The chips were nice to have but didn't taste as fresh as you'd get elsewhere. Yikes. My party of 5 arrived in Denver earlier that day and decided to try a restaurant near our hotel for Denver restaurant week. This place was in walking distance and the menu sounded pretty good. How wrong were we. I started with the individual street corn and avocado dip. It literally was just avocado, but mashed to look like guacamole. It had no flavor! No salt, no lime; just dusted with some cotija and a slice of pickled onion. Very unsatisfying and left much to be desired. Next up was the tortellini, which, on par with the appetizer, also lacked salt. It was a completely flavorless dish, and on top of that, the kitchen forgot my chicken. When it did come out 20 mins later (after everyone else had finished their entrees), it was so dry and inedible. One of my friends got the salmon with feta caper aioli and mentioned the rice was very undercooked. I finished with the mini sticky toffee chocolate pudding, which was somehow dry and not moist like a cake should be. For these pretty reasonably small portions which should've been coursed out faster, our dinner ran 2.5 hours long. Service was incredibly inattentive; it was hard to flag down a waiter even for water. Overall, wouldn't recommend this place. My group tried a number of other restaurants in the area during our stay, which were a lot of satisfying than this experience. read more
