Okay! Let me just tell you guys that they're calamari was amazing! I almost ordered a second one as my meal. It's so hard for restaurants to make calamari perfectly and they exceeded. There was a large group of us and our waitress was so hospitable and gave us such a great experience. I can't even lie... For a chain, this place was really good. I got the mac and cheese with chicken and panko and removed the mushrooms and bacon and it was the best mac and cheese I've literally ever had. Our waiter Eddie also gave us honest opinions about the food and helped us pick the very best entrees. Ugh, I wish I could give this Yard House a better review. Honestly, I've been to several different Yard House locations and have enjoyed it in the past. This location, sadly, was lacking. Maybe it was because it was so busy but this meal was a bust for me. We ordered a bunch of apps during happy hour as our meal and two beers. The first beer I ordered the waiter had to come back about ten minutes later and tell me they were out. No biggie, I ordered something else. Well, I don't know what I got but I do know it wasn't what I ordered. Sadly, it was an ipa of some sort and they aren't my thing. Yuck. Anyway, by then the food had come out and I realized pretty quick that I wasn't going to be eating much so I just gave up and decided this meal was just going to be a dud. We ordered the poke nachos, chicken tenders and fries (for my daughter) a pizza, the cheese curds and some wings for my husband. I can't eat very spicy foods. Unfortunately, spicy seemed to be the flavor profile of the day. The poke nachos were on fire! I've had them before at other locations and they were never that spicy. My husband likes spicy stuff so he enjoyed his wings but he even said they were hotter than he expected they would be. My daughter didn't eat her chicken because, surprise, peppery. That left the pizza and the curds. The pizza was actually pretty good which is why I didn't give a lower review. The cheese curds however we're swimming in oil and pretty gross. Luckily, it was happy hour so most of what we ordered was half price. Would I recommend Yard House? Maybe? But not this location unless you like things super hot. read more

What a great surprise! Great ambiance, eclectic and affordable menu, ample servings, and great service! We sat at the bar and our server, Val, could not have been more helpful and engaging. She was happy to explain things on the menu and seemed to really enjoy her job. We were there for lunch, the sliders were delicious and there were FOUR!! Another nice surprise. The BLT was loaded with bacon. I had to deconstruct the sandwich by removing the middle slice of toast in order to bite into it. How delightful!! The fries were served in a cute little metal fryer basket. Crunchy and tender. We actually came to the American Dream Mall on a reconnaissance mission to find out what it had to offer for a young family as a fun destination. So many of the restaurants did not have menus that appeared "family friendly" but Yard House was ideal for us, two Grandma's sitting at the bar, but would also suit a family sitting at a table. Honesty, I think my granddaughters would squeal with delight if the huge "tower" of onion rings were delivered to their table. Sitting at the bar, we had a great view of the skiers and snow boarders having a great time on a Tuesday afternoon. I arrived at 2:00pm on on Oct 1. We Weren't able to order until about 2:20 because the bartender was inattentive. Finally we Ordered a flight, appetizers, and entrees all at the same time with my wife. At 3:06 I ordered my second flight and a drink for my wife. At 3:30. My food still didn't come out. The bartender was in the weeds the entire time since we sat down. Her only excuse was she didn't know what was going on back in the kitchen. Several people sat down after us and got their food and drinks with no problem. (Mind you all we ordered was lettuce wraps, fries and tacos) HOW CAN YOU MESS THAT UP? THE PEOPLE THAT SAT AFTER US ORDERED EXACTLY WHAT WE ORDERED..... I CAN ONLY IMAGINE IF I ORDERED A STEAK.... Being that I timed everything i already knew I was not going to pay for anything. Went for dinner with my family on Wednesday night and we had Joe as our server. He was awesome from beginning to end. We are from out of state and have never eaten at a yard house before so we ordered what Joe had suggested and we were not disappointed. Our drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert were phenomenal literally one of the best restaurants we have ever been to! I'm being generous giving an extra star because of the server who took over after. When me and my girlfriend arrived to have some cocktails and appetizers before we enjoyed the theme park we waited an hour for appetizers that take 5 to 10 minutes to wait. The original waitress did not bother to check up on us to check on the food or even apologize after noticing that we had been waiting for so long. STEVEN was so amazing when he assisted us and getting our food within minutes of asking. He was also attentive to our drinks and it seems like he took over. We have seen Yard House in several locations and always considered it but this was our first visit. Even in the mall, the atmosphere was that of a fun sports bar. There were lots of different choices of beers and mixed drinks! We were so hungry after walked the mall for hours, that we ordered a lot not realizing the generous portion sizes. The apps were good. We got the big pretzel, the cheese dip and the onion ring tower which were all huge and delicious but our party of 3 could barely get through them all. My son ordered the crispy, traditional wings, which were very crispy and tasty! My husband ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and Pancakes, which was recommended by our friendly server. The sweet potato pancakes didn't really taste like sweet potato and while they weren't bad, they weren't as tasty as he expected after the server's rousing recommendation. The "hot" chicken was crispy and good but the fried batter was so spicy, that he actually started picking off the breading toward the end to just eat the less spicy meat. He said he would order it again if he can get it a little less spicy. After such filling apps I decided to order the Chicken Kale and Romaine Caesar which was good. It wasn't anything to write home about but I honestly didn't expect it to be. My husband had a House IPA which he said was tasty and I had the Rogue Nitro Chocolate Stout which I really enjoyed and would easily order again. We liked the tablet which was on each table that we could use to order, call for our server and even use to play games and pay the bill but there was also traditional table service, if that works better for you. There are a LOT of vegetarian choices as well with a large selection of Gardein options, as well as GF options so you can feel comfortable taking different foodies w/ different allergy/preferences there! Atleast when you go to Applebee's or Buffalo Wild Wings you know what to expect. This place has a great atmosphere, beer list, and an extensive menu with steak and seafood.
