The One 5 has a cozy yet upscale vibe, with modern decor that creates a relaxed environment. Guests can choose to dine indoors or enjoy the outdoor patio, and there's also seating at the bar. The menu is impressively diverse, offering options to satisfy every palate. We started with the Shrimp Appetizer, followed by the Brussels Sprout Salad, and for our main courses, we tried the Crab Cakes and Red Drum. Great spot in Hartness area. Menu is just unique enough to have variety but different flavors that set it apart. Highly recommend the brussel salad, tuna tartare, and waiting until you hear the specials. Halibut was awesome. Our server was excellent and attentive. This place is a tucked away jewel. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is great!! Especially loved the Joyce Farm Wings & the Fried Brussel Sprout Salad. The crab cake is delicious too!! We had an ok, not great experience here for a Saturday evening dinner. For context, we have been to The 07 many times and greatly enjoy it. We would not return to The One5. Positives - Our drinks and several apps were tasty. Negatives - Primarily, the restaurant was very, very loud, driven by the staff, not patrons. A World Cup match was on and the bartenders were cheering boisterously. There was a miscommunication between the waitress we checked in with for our reservation and the hostess, so we waited 30 minutes for our table (fortunately, with drinks from the bar). Our server was kind but inattentive. We had to waive him down 3 times: for more water (while eating our apps, including buffalo wings, we had no water), to order entrees, and to get our checks. Our entrees were just ok for various reasons. Crab cakes seemed undercooked, strip steak was chewy, chicken marsala was unexpected compared to the menu description. At the end of the evening I saw a staff standing behind the bar eating an entree out of a takeout container while watching the tv. read more

We were ordering our appetizers and wondering about a main course as we're normally a bit full before the main course arrives. The waiter said the focaccia bread was a pretty generous portion and suggested we make up our mind after we finished our appetizers. Good call. Entry door was not clean. Bad start... (If the front door isn't kept clean, then don't get me started on the rest of the more critically important aspects of the general facilities, restrooms, kitchen, etc.) Ambience was lack luster, bland and lacked any coziness. That alone would not bring us back. We received weird looks walking in from patrons. Bar crowd in general was more than a bit "stuffy". Older gentlemen were acting like they thought they were in a teen movie, openly making fun of others. Very juvenile insecure behavior. Bar staff was attentive, efficient, and the one drink we rushed through to get out, was very nicely done... espresso martini, creamy. No food for us. Not there. Will not be returning and if not for the bar staff and drink quality, I would have given this no more tha one. No return for us. Too many other much nicer places with nicer patrons. Can't blame the owners for who visits their establishment. I still plan to visit the Hotel Hartness bar/resturant... but please look for my more positive reviews of so many great places in Greenville and Greer. My husband and I have been trying to get to this place for a few months now and I made reservations for tonight and thankfully we were able to get in! The restaurant was pretty packed! The first thing I noticed when we entered was that there was live music. A solo artist with his guitar. Live music is great but it also means that it may be difficult to hear when talking so the second thing I noticed was that the atmosphere was very loud! My husband also noticed and mentioned that to me. BUT that's the only negative thing I have to say about our visit. The food was tasty!! I ordered the blackened salmon which came with a cauliflower puree and sweet potatoes. My husband ordered the roasted chicken which came with a Lima bean succotash. I enjoyed my food and I snuck a taste of my husbands succotash which was good!! The establishment is small but fitting. It has a bar, a room that can host a private party and outdoor dining. The staff was helpful and friendly as we were seated by a hostess with a big smile. At the end of the day, I would come back. I have dietary restrictions and the menu accommodated. They also have a lunch, dinner and drink menu with a good selection. I don't think it's very kid friendly because of the space and size...but that's just my two cents. Came here with some friends while visiting Greenville, SC. We were drawn in by their lunch menu options. However, by the time we got there they had already switched to their dinner menu even though it was only 3:00PM. We still decided to dine and it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant looked very clean and fancy. We got the charbroiled oysters to start and they were delicious! Thy were juicy and flavourful and you could really taste the bacon in the compound butter that it comes with. For my entree I got a Duck Leg Confit, which came with a crispy polenta cake and collard greens. I will say that the sides for this dish didn't really compliment the fuck too much. The collard greens were too tangy and they clashed with the flavour of the polenta and duck. The duck was crispy and tasted good. I was also a big fan of their sweet tea. The portions vary depending on your dish, as my friend got a pasta dish that looked like it could have fed two people. My dish was filling though. The staff is very nice and looked very sharp and professional. Our drinks were refilled often and they told us about the specials that were not on the menu. We started off with the blue cheese chips - they were amazing, and it was a very large amount of them. For two we were not able to finish these. I got the burrata salad - with the most delicious tomatoes i've ever had. The salmon and vegetables were also full of flavor and tasty. The initial text I wrote. last evening we ate at the One5 in the Hartness complex Greenville The bald headed bartender was speaking almost exclusively to a man sitting at the bar where the bar angles. Another patron at the bar told us the bald bartender was talking trash about us to the man at angle of the bar. We went to the rest room. The man who was speaking with bald bartender followed us. This person made an offensive judgmental statement to us. I will not patronize the One5 where the staff is allowed to inflame customers to the the point where they try to instigate hostility. Nice new addition to the Eastside of GVL! Really enjoyed the focaccia bread with spreads appetizer - so good. I tried a mocktail the bartender created that was very good and not too sweet. The burger was very good and flavorful, as well. The fries weren't anything exciting but they were French fries so they did the job. The oysters were good - not the best I've had in the area but the flavor was good especially with the jus to pour over them. The service was a bit lacking on my visit and drink refills were pretty slow but it may have just been an off night, which happens!! The overall vibe and ambience was casual and contemporary but still had an upscale feel. Definitely enjoyed overall and would return to try lunch options! read more

Perfect! I wish I had taken pictures because the food looked as good as it tasted. Our waitress was excited to recommend drinks and tell us her favorites. We started with their Fried Brussel Sprout salad and Focaccia bread. Then we shared their special; crab cakes but they plated it over their other special's sauce and sides. Since it was a birthday celebration we both got dessert. My bride always requires chocolate but I got their special. The dessert special was fried pound cake, with frozen banana pudding/whip cream squares with a buttery caramel'y sauce and bananas. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. The staff had their "regulars" sitting in a corner talking about their customers. When questioned an item on the bill the "manager" and her staff attacked me and my family. Spewed lies and made a scene. Entire staff is unprofessional. To top it off, steaks were not cooked properly, hamburger was burnt and food was mediocre. I am assuming this was done on purpose. Never go to this place. We went for date night on Saturday evening. The staff went out of their way to provide us with amazing service as usual. We love this place!
