This review is probably more 3 1/2. Our party of 4 was seated immediately when we arrived on Sunday night. The whole experience was just average. I was really excited to try their fried mac and cheese because I had heard great thing about it and they have it marked in their menu as a specialty item. Taste was bland, you had to drench it in the sauce for it to have any taste. At least they weren't over fried. The guacamole was good. We all got tacos. I ordered the short rib ones. They were alright; they just added too much of the green papaya so it was more of that than meat so I took some out and then I liked it. The server took forever to return to our table once the meal got there. And after that another eternity to bring our check. Probably wouldn't visit this place again. read more

When I first thought about writing this review, it was going to be for 1 star. We showed up at 7:45, checked in for a party of 8 and we were told the wait was 45-55 minutes. One hour and 30 minutes later we were still not seated. Received a call from someone in reception asking if we had been seated already. I advised we were still waiting. We were told to give them a couple of minutes, they were putting together a table for us. Another 15 minutes later, still no table. We were finally sat at what looked like a table for 6 extended to seat 8. It was thrown together very last minute in an "oh snap, we forgot" kind of way. We were pretty aggravated at this point but tried not to let it ruin the night. We got really lucky with our server. Brenda was really nice and attentive and managed to turn things around pretty quickly, even though the kitchen was also off their game last night. I sent my meal back, pasta was severely undercooked and chicken was a little pink. My husband's tacos were delicious though! Brenda let the manager, Morgan, know what happened and brought her over to speak with us. Morgan was incredibly apologetic and reacted the way a great manager should. They were nice enough to offer some comps and profusely apologized for the issues. Any restaurant or establishment for that matter can have a bad day. Things can go wrong. It's how you make it right that's important. And Yard House definitely made it right last night. We've never had an issue here before and we will definitely be returning. read more

I visited Aventura for a weekend and stumbled upon this magnificent place. I was in the mood for seafood so I gave the Lobster garlic noodles a try and it did not disappoint at all. I'm drooling just thinking about it now. My date and I decided to wash it all down with a Bold Fashion.... or two haha. Great beer, great service, great food in a really pleasant setting... what more could you ask for? We took a little tour of the amazing beer selection inside but opted to sit outside as it was such a beautiful day. We were seated promptly and a friendly waiter brought menus and answered all our questions about the beers. Larry S. had the Belgian beer sampler and I had the regular one (can't remember what it's called). A chilled tray arrived with six 4-oz glasses of a variety of beers and a guide to each one. We were in heaven! We also split the lobster burger as Larry S. is a turf kind of guy and I'm more of a surfer. It came on a tasty roll with a side of a tomato-y mayo. We upgraded to truffle fries and boy howdy, was that worth the extra $1! I definitely look forward to a return visit to sample more of the delicious food and beer! read more

I've been to this Yard House (and a few others) multiple times and it's always good. The beer list is huge and can always try something new. The bartender wasn't too helpful with telling me about the beers when I asked, but that's ok. Went during happy hour this time and sat at the bar. Ordered a beer and a few apps that were half off: sliders, onion rings, and lettuce wraps. The sliders were SO good, I would be back just for those. This place, unfortunately, fell off. We used to love coming here but on our last visit, the food was not good and the service was incredibly slow. We were a decent sized party, so I understood the delay with our food, however, we constantly kept having to ask them to come by and bus our table because no one had come to check up on us and the dishes were beginning to stack up on our table and get in the way of our entrees. The Yard House has been on my list to visit for a long time now. I finally had the opportunity to go a couple of nights ago on a week day. It was around 7PM on a Tuesday night if I'm not mistaken and the place was about half full. Walking in there was an unmistakable energy and vibe. I was excited to see the center bar filled with hundreds of selections of beer on draft. Ok maybe not hundreds, but there was a lot. We were quickly seated and were greeted by our server Kendrick. I think my experience at this place was elevated due to his passion and energy for the brew and foods that they serve. He was very attentive and had no problem explaining to us about the Yard House story as well as giving us some food pointers and pairings. We were advised to try the poke nachos but the second I saw Fried Mac & Cheese on the menu I was sold. I think i Insta-ordered as soon as I saw it. Let me tell you something, I made the right choice. Came on a plate beautifully presented these fried mac and cheese sticks. Crunchy on the outside, soft and goey on the inside. Dunked it on the side of organic tomato bisque, and you got yourself a winner here! There were so many food options on the menu we had to go to Kendrick for some advice. Ended up getting the Steak Sandwich and the Vodka Shrimp Pasta. Both were great choices. Presentation was nice and made our mouthes water as soon as it was brought to the table. We didnt particularly love it, the pasta could have used a little more salt, and the steak sandwich was good but nothing that blew me away. I paired the food with an IPA flight. Jai-alai, hopstimulator, elypsian space dust, and dog fish 90 were my pics. I believe our server told us there were over 150 beers to choose from so this is a great place to explore new beers. The ambiance it quite chill with classic rock playing in the background. It is for sure a nice hang out spot you can bring a group of friends to. Food is still great can't take that away from good ole yard house but now they are way under staffed this place used to be all over great but is not on a steady decline . I cannot even have a conversation with the server anymore because they are all running around like a chicken with it's head cut off the place is so under staffed . They eliminated the late night happy hour which is a big disappointment , I'm just very sad and disappointed to not be writing a good review on hard house I e been coming here for over 10 years and lately the only word I can think of comparing it to how it use to function is BAD . The food is always good which keeps me coming here, prices are decent  but it is saint Patrick's day and only 11 pm and the lights come on for closing time already which is unbelievable . I'm very disappointed in this places decline in customer service  and I really hope that management will make some changes to redeem it's loyal customers because next step is to go elsewhere. We got together with some friends at the Yard House after an event at PlugIn Karaoke Lounge at the Golfstream. We have been to the Yard House several times, but usually for drinks. On this visit, a Wednesday night after 10 PM, the plan was to get a bite to eat alongside the drinks. The start was a bit rocky as getting a waiter took a while. However, once we did the service was fast and attentive. We noticed they were running some late night ( I believe on Wednesdays and Sundays) happy hours. We had a margarita pizza, boneless wings, and two mojitos for about $30. The pizza was delicious, the mild boneless wings with white meat was spicier usual (the waiter warned us the run a bit spicier) and the mojitos were great. Overall, the food quality was great, specially for late night; the princes were great, and the service was attentive. A bit better organization would be helpful. Came here Sunday night for dinner and thumbs down. I go to yard house all the time in Chicago and this was just not cutting it. I got a side salad, truffle fries and hot and spicy edamame. And my dad got the poke stack. The side salad was super soggy and the hot and spicy edamame were not hot or spicy and they were super soggy. Yard hard is usually my go to spot but this location was not on point on top of the service was so SLOW... bummer read more

Since I work close to the area I usually go to Yard house for lunch. The wait is usually long but the customer service is very good. My favorite appetizer to get is the Spinach Dip with chips & my favorite entree is the white cheddar filet melt. The Cajun Gumbo also one of my favs. If you are looking for something simple and easy to eat around the area I would recommend this place. read more

I visited yard house with my family two nights ago. I was saddened and disappointed to say the least. Yes we come from New York so we know good food and restaurants but to be honest it wasn't so much the food quality that bothered us, it was the service. We waited an hour to get seated outside. Once we sat at 9pm we did not get any of our food u til it was about 11pm. We also had three children under the age of 3 with us and I immediately put in a kids food order just to make sure they would get food ASAP and it did not happen. How about it took almost 40 min to get drinks and we only had three people with alcoholic drinks at the table, the rest were waters. We did complain that night about it especially we kept asking over and over again for the food to be checked on for the sake of the kids. We also would have fathered them get home for sleeping earlier instead of it being after midnight but the fact that our food took so long did not allow us to. Instead of covering the tab for such horrible service we instead got a measley $25 off. So needless to say, sad and disappointed is what I can say about how I feel about the Yard House. I will never return to this restaurant. read more

Yard House has always come through the few times I've been here and they always provide 100% premium service to everyone. Tons of seating options, and wait times for tables is not too bad even on busy nights! And you seriously can't go wrong with any food or drink options here, everything is amazing! Personally love the Belgian 6 pack flight that comes with two tripels that I absolutely love! Some of my favorites are the burgers, truffle fries, Caesar salad, and the delicious Nashville chicken sandwich! I could have that everyday! I have been to the location at Mizner Park and GulfStream. There is an extensive selection if beers on tap and the food is great. Tons of TVs for the games. Friendly service. Sunday I had the lobster noodles. Really delicious with chunks of real lobster and mushrooms. I highly recommend that dish. The grapefruit beer is great too. Think that one us seasonal. read more

This was my first time at a Yard House. It's an upscale bar atmosphere, perfect for a date or a group. It's a swanky place and so you expect good service and we got it. The wait staff was wonderful and attentive. They explained how busy it was and that we may wait a few minutes, but they will do their best and be as quick as possible. I thought that was very courteous of our waiter to explain to us. We left the group at the table we were at because we decided we didn't want to order food, just drinks. We ended up at the bar. The bartenders were on point. Most of the seats at the bar were filled, yet they were right there every time we wanted to order. We asked our bartender if he knew how to make a chocolate cake shot (tastes like lemon at first and as it goes down, it tastes like dessert, even though it has no chocolate, whatsoever.) He claimed to know how. We were skeptical. We got our shots in record time. Chugged them and... WOW! He made a perfect chocolate cake shot. The people at the bar were friendly, everyone was happy to talk to us and the bartender even stopped to talk for a few minutes. He was a really great guy, very busy, yet he never made us wait nor did he rush our conversation. This place was decently filled for a late Wednesday night, so I'm not sure if I would be so willing to come on the weekend, I could definitely see it being out-of-control packed. We go to the yard house 2-3 times a week. Great atmosphere, nice servers, love the beer, and my favorite poke nachos and cali roll.

Yard House is a great option for food, drink, and sports in the Gulfstream area. So here's the scoop. As you are walking through the village, you come across this large bar/restaurant with ample outdoor seating, music playing inside, basically every live sporting event playing on one of the TVs, and enough taps to rival any local beer bar. I usually sit at the bar so I can chat with a neighbor or the bartenders. You can still order food, see all of the games, and get your drinks right away. Like I said though, they have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It is a great place to go with a group and hang outside while having a few beers and laughs. For food, I've tried the burger, tomato soup, and chicken nachos. The nachos are enormous. I ordered them thinking it would be a nice snack with a beer, but it was easily enough food for 2-3 people. The burger was cooked as ordered, and the ingredients were all high quality. Many people have pumped up the tomato soup, and it was tasty as well. Besides the food and atmosphere, the thing that sets Yardhouse apart from other similar places is the beer menu. They have a full bar and great bartenders for liquor drinks, but the beer list is awesome. They have to have 50+ taps. They have general macros like Bud and Miller products for your average beer drinker, but they get into some great local craft beers from places like Funky Buddha, Barrel Of Monks, and MIA for the discerning beer drinker. The price per pint is average for a craft brew, and actually better than some places in the Ft Lauderdale area. At the end of the day, if yummy bar food, great beer, live sports, and a fun atmosphere is what you are into, Yardhouse is your jam. Give it a shot, I'm sure you'll be pleased. read more
