Great service today when we went in with our party of 9! We even added on two others, and our server was so kind to add on an additional table. We tried the whiskey glaze & white cheddar burger and it was PHENOMENAL! So juicy and great! Poke Nachos are always a must! As always their brewed beer is a great choice! Ewww two couples went here together 3 of the 4 had been before. It was crowded and there was a 15min wait but we didn't hear the message come in a text so we ended up having to wait another 5 mins as our table was given to other people. Two ordered salads, one ordered a chicken poke bowl thingee and I had the fish and chips. The fish was swimming in grease and the two sauces had been sitting out and had formed a skin on top. The tartar sauce was very peppery. The slaw was inedible. The person who ordered the poke bowl was surprised and almost turned it away when it arrived it was so different from the salmon bowl she had had at an earlier visit. One person ordered the Cobb salad which he said was OK and the other the Kale Ceasar. Neither looked particularly appealing to me. All in all the portions were huge but if the food is meh who wants a large portion. I will not return that is for sure. It was a noisy family pub grub style place with lots of TV screens. The Yardhouse is a family favorite and had lots of people when we went. To get a table we liked took about ten minutes. The first table they sat us at was right next to the kitchen, a bit brightly lighted and noisy. We asked to move tables right away. The server was very friendly and sweet. We ordered two meals: the Whiskey Glazed Salmon which was very salty. The glaze was a sweet sauce in a ramekin on the plate. The carrots were excellent and thw mashed potatoes were served room temperature. The Fish and Chips were good. Hot. Well cooked. We got the chocolate molten cake served with ice cream. As a person who has had a ton of Nashville hot chicken in my life, I was thoroughly unexpressed. The pancakes were small for the price and were overcooked. Came in late on a Saturday night for some munchies. Alexis was our server, she was so welcoming and patient. Had the ahi sashimi and sweet potato fries. I would like to start off by saying I do enjoy this franchise but my most recent experience has shifted my opinion. I am also not one to complain often so it sickens me to do so but I feel the need to share my disappointment. I attended dinner last night, it was steady for the time but not extremely busy. I had no complaints of my service up until after my appetizer: 1. After completing my appetizer, the empty plate was never taken off the table 2. We waited very patiently for our entrees, but began to get confused as to why guest, who had shown up WAY later than we did, got served their entrees before us. 3. By the time our plates arrived, my partners sandwich was hitting a lukewarm temperature and they still didn't manage to bring out his side of fries(that came with the meal) for another additional minutes. 4. When my pasta was brought out to me, I kindly asked the lady for Parmesan cheese. Which I never got 5. The chicken to my pasta was almost burnt on one side that when I attempted to cut it with a knife, the top charred layer did not budge. 6. For some reason our server disappeared for moments and I noticed the majority of his tables were waiting for him to come back. If he was relieved for a break, whoever was covering for him did not do justice. 7. After completing payment, we asked him for boxes to go which we waited a decent amount of time for that we had to ask one of the host to bring it to us instead because I got tired of his lack of urgency. I know this probably seems like a Karen who lacks patience. But I assure that I am someone who can wait and understand that things in the kitchen can sometimes be chaotic. But what really did it for me was the lack of service from my server and the quality of my meals. read more

Today was our second time giving this place a try. They have quite a variety offered on the menu and there's no denying how delicious everything is however, regardless of going during the dinner rush or around two after the lunch rush, the service is always so slow. Both times our servers were MIA when needed. I tend to stay low maintenance and keep requests (napkins, water refills, etc..) to a minimum. Should I have no one coming by to see if we need anything in times where we do, it was very frustrating. Let's get back to the food though, shall we? We've had the wings and have tried the Buffalo, the Korean barbecue, and the whiskey options. The Korean barbecue and the whiskey option we're crispy and delicious. The buffalo was soggy both time so I'm guessing it has something to do with the sauce but it still has a great traditional Buffalo flavor. We've also had the Bavarian pretzel, the beer cheese sauce that comes with that is so good! The Wisconsin cheese curds are a must As well as the firecracker shrimp. I recommend you skip on the amazing looking onion tower though, it had a funnel cake like breading and was very greasy. The margarita pizza is also fantastic!!! read more

Stopped in the other night and made a mixed experience. Went into the bar while waiting for someone. Decided to have a drink and appetizer. The drink was pretty good, a specialty margarita. I also had the 4 cheese spinach dip appetizer and it was horrid. The dip basically tasted like salt poured into a creamy cheesy sauce with spinach. The chips looked like something that came out of a bag that's been in the back of your cupboard for about 14 months. Just not good. Not the best facility either fairly low-ceilings. When I come to Palm Springs, I usually stop by this Yard House for specific food items. This time I decided to try the mushroom noodles. This is by far the worst dish I have ever had. The noodles were dry, hard and I could pick the whole dish up with my fork. I was hoping that the noodles would be light but instead, it was a big ball of stuck wire. Another solid Yard House location. You can't go wrong when it's Friday night and you're hungry but not sure what you want to eat! I had two blackened shrimp tacos wrapped in lettuce and they managed to make this healthy, delicious, and satisfying! Prices for tacos here are also very reasonable for a big restaurant chain. I through a surprise BD party for my husband in the bar during Happy Hour 3-6. There were 20 people. The service was outstanding our server Hailey was the best, very attentive professional and fun. The estimated time for a table was 30 minutes, that passed, then another.... We had to wait one hour, and one minute. I don't drink a lot of beer, so I rely on Yard House employees for suggestions when I do. "Try the Stiegl Radler Grapefruit beer" since it's on our Oktoberfest menu! Okay; why not. After the first few tastes, I was disgusted. I expected "beer," not grapefruit-flavored horse piss. If you like grapefruit-flavored horse piss, this "beer" is for you. I keep using "beer" in quotes because of this: it's 60% "fruit" soda. There I go with the quote marks again. It's 2.5% "real grapefruit" juice, and the other 57.5% is pretty much sugar water. They must have gotten a deal on this crap since the amount of "real" grapefruit juice outweighs the 2% EtOH! For ten bucks, just go buy a 12 pack of sprite and add ample amounts of tequila. The Yard House has this on their "beer" menu!!! Children and guys named Lawrence should drink Stiegl Radler Grapefruit beer, but anyone with a pallet that knows Stella Rosa isn't actually a wine will know this isn't "beer" and will spit it out faster than your wife after 10 years of marriage; you'll feel just as badly. Okay, I'm breathing... try Andrew Weil's 4-7-8 technique. It works wonders. Do it with me as we count in for four, hold for a count of seven, and blow out for a count of eight. Do four sets. After a month, do eight sets, but never more. The servers are really great. I enjoyed the whisky glazed salmon, the poke nachos, the onion ring tower (if they cook it properly), and the fried chicken sandwich isn't horrible. Sit inside if you can, or bring candles and a flashlight at night since the lighting is really horrid. It's like walking into a cave with a radioactive baboon and hoping his exposed ass will give enough light to read the menu. It won't. Don't try. You're going to piss off the baboon and be forced to appease him with dinner and a booty rub without ever seeing the menu. Now you have to wash your hands again... Just go with The Yard House Cuvée; it's a general tongue pleaser and the Dragon's Milk hit the spot! read more

I'm not one for chain restaurants/bars. We arrived after leaving a special event. There aren't many places open late in the Coachella Valley, so I thought this might be good. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes. That isn't bad, especially for a Saturday night. I'm just not a guy who waits. We were seated and given menus. We gave our drink orders, but they didn't come for a bit. Waiter disappeared and took a while to come back. I saw an army of employees running around. No one made eye contact. It felt like a game of "not it." We finally ordered. My friend got a burger and fries. I got some fish tacos. Our entrees arrived at the same time, but his was missing the fries. The young lady who dropped them off said that she was going to go back for fresh ones. She never came back. My friend started eating. About 5 minutes later, the waiter came. He looks and sees no fries. He mumbles something about fresh fries and disappears. Several minutes later he comes back with some very not fresh fries. At this point, my friend was nearly done with his sandwich. My fish tacos were actually pretty tasty. The rice, however, was inedible. Hard and soft rice in the same mix. No real flavor to the rice. Luckily, I wasn't too hungry, so the tacos were enough. For much of our time there, our glasses were empty. Overall, food was fine. Service was just bizarre. Fun atmosphere but last take out was disappointing. When she took my order at front and I paid in advance she asked for my name and phone number. She mentioned it would take about 20 minutes. I told her I would be waiting at the bar. A few minutes later I got a text informing me that the order was received and they were starting to work on it. It was thus reasonable to assume that if they sent me one text and I told them I was waiting at the bar and in the past they had either texted me or brought my to go order to me at the bar they would at least text me it was ready. I waited about 30 minutes and no text or any contact. I go back up and the woman at the entry grabs the lone bag that is sitting there and when I get to the car note that it's only mildly warm. Next time kindly TEXT the customer when the item is ready if they inform you that they are waiting in the bar. P.S. It was pretty good. Nice portion. Lots of seafood and sausage and chicken. Had to with the brown rice which I think was the right call. My brother in law had it with noodles. If you want to drink a bunch of different beers, then go sit at the bar. If you want good food, go someplace else. This location was once a great place to eat. The beer selection was secondary to the food. This is no longer the case. This location has constantly tried to reinvent itself over the years, only to reinvent itself into mediocrity. And it's overpriced, which is a double slap in the face. I don't post reviews lightly, but this was one I felt compelled to share. Avoid this place and avoid terrible, overpriced food.
