Definitely need to hit it with some lemon juice on top but the noodles were a little weird and bunched up together. The whisky glaze salmon was 5/10 for. The salmon cooked perfectly and the mashed potatos were so creamy and flavorful. But the brocolii and carrot was not doing it for me, was a little hard to chew and cut with the knife. The whisky glaze also was too strong and did not taste good for me at all I didn't even use a single drop. Literally just hand me the salmon and potatos. The parmesan cheese TRUFFLE fries were missing the truffle??????? It was not seasoned, barely. It just tasted like potatos and missing salt too. Not happy because these are usually my favorite! Always good food when you're at Yard House. Took my mom here for happy hour after shopping in the area and tried a few different things on the menu. Drinks were really good. I definitely recommend the Grand Patron Margarita! I wasn't too sure about it at first, but the Barbecue Pizza was a great appetizer. It was sooo good, but we only ate half. Would order again. We also had the Jambalaya and the Maui Pineapple Chicken. We've had the jambalaya before, so we knew that would be good. Pro tip: linguini instead of rice. That pineapple chicken though!? Absolutely delicious. So tender and flavorful. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you're looking for a healthier dish. Not sure who we were ordering all this food, but it made for a great dinner afterwards because they're always generous with portions! First time at this location and customer service was okay. This was our first time at Yard House (La Cantera location). We went on a Friday evening, and parking close to the restaurant is very limited so be prepared for a short hike. Our wait for a table was relatively brief, but once seated I did notice that the restaurant was very dark. I'm not sure if that was intentional, but letting in natural light is always welcomed. Service was decent, but I don't think our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Wife ordered a mojito, and I ordered a pint of beer but was unknowingly served a "goblet" instead. I ordered the Nashville Chicken Sandwich, but I felt that the presentation was lacking a bit. Yard House should consider putting fries in a basket or flute instead of serving fries in a bowl. Wife ordered Whiskey Glazed Salmon. Fish was good but mixed vegetables needed just a bit more cooking time. We came in late Tuesday evening, we were seated immediately, and I asked for the outside area because it was way too cold inside to eat in there. I actually saw a lady with a coat on. We ordered drinks from the bar and the onion ring tower appetizer. The drinks and appetizer came out pretty quickly and were really good. I ordered the steak bowl and hubby had the cheesesteak. Let me say that our food was absolutely delicious. My husband had one of the specialty old fashions and he really liked it. I had the pineapple cocktail. I forget the name exactly and it was good although not particularly strong. The food was nice. The outdoor area was nice. Our only issue was with our service. Our waitress Selena was nice enough, and she made me feel like she was going to take care of us, but we sat for a while with her not coming back over to check on us even after we received our food from the runners. Our drinks were empty. Our water was empty. I had to ask for a paper napkin twice. By the time she did come around again, I ordered another drink, but my husband was tired of waiting. The drink again came out quickly from the bar which was nice. While Selena was friendly, she wasn't as an attentive as we would have preferred. It was sprinkled with some Parm cheese. I added lemon squeezes & so did my friend. She said she liked the salad more. That margarita was indeed "magical" as it changes colors! We ordered the onion tower for an appetizer and it was hot and crunchy and came with 2 sauces. Everything was delicious! Last weekend, my sister, nieces and I decided to stroll the streets of La Cantera and met up with a friend at the Yard House. We were longing for a cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, but refused to wait 2 hours for it. My sister added our names to the Yard House waiting list and I snuck past the hostess and a line at the Cheesecake and walked my nieces to the dessert window. We eyed the glass window and peeped at the colorful, fruity, Chocolate and Carmel renditions and lime creations of cheesecake, but eventually choose the 1650 calorie Oreo Cheesecake... Yep that's right I said 1650 (YOLO). The girls were excited with our selection and we strolled past the long line of Cheesecake Goers and were called into the Yard House within 10 minutes. Paul (AKA Pablo) was our waiter. He explained the menu and brought the nieces some crayons and kiddie menus. Once the little ones were taken care of, he focused his attention on taking care of us. Within minutes our table had strawberry lemonade and water and orders into the kitchen. The place was packed, but the staff had Social Distancing in mind. Servers wore mask and I saw sanitary actions between guests. For our dining experience, we ordered the Fish and Chips, the Mac and cheese for the kiddos and the Hot Chicken with sweet potato pancakes. The atmosphere was festive and the foodies seemed to be enjoying a beautiful day out at the mall. The managers at the Hostess station had on their game faces and kept the flow of foodies orderly and expedited. Or food was amazing and Paul kept the dishes cleared and the glasses full. He didn't mind when the girls cracked open the cheesecake and kept us as his first concern. I would highly recommend the Fish and Chips as the Cod was fried to perfection. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and the cheesecake was a perfect end to our meal. Even with COVID-19 still an issue, I felt safe, enjoyed my meal and appreciated the outing with the family. I've had to lower the rating to 4 stars because when we dined there last week, my mouth was ready to crunch on their delicious fish and chips but what a disappointment when we were told they didn't have a fish delivery! Well, my wife wanted to leave right then, and we should have because we settled for their pizza. What a letdown! The pizza crust was burned and the sting of missing the fish and chips became sharper. One thing though, we will call the place next time we plan to go - if there is a next time. Our server, Bella, informed everyone of the Happy Hour special, was kind and patient as we perused the menu and bombarded her with questions, and was overall a Rockstar throughout the dining experience. The onion rings had more of a beer batter that made them really sweet. Nashville chicken sandwich did have some kick but the sweet sauce or slaw that was on there masked it a little too much. Beans and rice were very good actually, but was hoping the vampire tacos would have been the star here. We felt they forgot that the plate was sitting there getting warm. Food: We ordered a lot of good food that some of it didn't had time to take a pic.
