The bacon topped pork burger caught my eye and since I was the adventurous one of the group I chose it. Wow. It was awesome. The flavors blended into an absolute melody. The crazy blueberry ketchup on it was delectable on the pork. By itself it's a no go but it works on the pork sandwich. Oh and they had Flying Monkeys Triple Stout on tap to add to it. We sat at the bar with bartender Paige and despite the restaurant being rather busy for a Friday at lunchtime, she was extremely attentive and sweet. My husband tried the new truffle burger and said it's beyond delicious. I had the shiitake garlic noodles which are so good, they should be illegal. Today i had brunch at Yard House. I had never been there even though I had wanted to try it. It is always packed at Sawgrass, so I usually pick somewhere else. We ordered a bunch of appetizers- Guacamole and chips, cheese curds, and the soft pretzel. Out of the three, the cheese curds were the hit. They come with a horseradish sauce and a spicy sweet sauce. Both were great. In the pic, only a few were left after just a couple of minutes. They brought a hearty portion but they went quick. The chips and guacamole were nothing special and was kind of a small portion. The pretzel was very large and came out hot with cheese and mustard. Quite good. For mains, I got the poke nachos. They were spicy and the portion size was very large. I was quite happy with them. With the classic cheeseburger and onion rings, the onion rings were the star. The Blt- bacon came out a little raw and had to be sent back. The star was the grilled cheese and soup. Looked great and tasted better according to my friend. Service was friendly if a little spotty. Our server seemed to be the only one on the floor of this very large restaurant, and he was working hard. He gave us good recommendations as well. We were then approached by Chris, the barman, who proceeded to go over some of the types of draft beers they had that day. Hey, when you are at Yard House, it's time to sample some different types of beers. Chris was happy to display his knowledge of their selections, and was more than willing to bring us a steady supply to sample. It almost got embarrassing, we were trying so many, but not ordering. Just went here for lunch with a few friends on Saturday, 1-4-25 at noon. We were waiting for others to join us, but when they didn't show we just got a table for the 3 of us. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and prompt. They were not very busy at the time. Our food was great and everyone was happy with their order. This restaurant is sometimes hard for us to go to because the parking at the Sunrise Mall is a nightmare, and I had to park quite far away and walk to the restaurant. But their beer is quality craft beer on tap, and the food is great, so I'll keep making the trip. read more

I went to Yard House with my friends after a Panthers game and let me just say that the food was very good! I got their Grilled Korean Beef Tacos and they were pretty good; the tiny spicy kick made them even better. The food wasn't as hot as I would've liked when it got there but other than that, it was a 10/10. My friends also got the Margherita Pizza and Vampire Tacos, which I tried. The Vampire Tacos were AMAZING and the Margherita Pizza was also very good. As for the service, our waitress, Nicole, was always checking on us and kept refilling our drinks without us asking. She gave us food recommendations, which we listened to and they were all delicious. The atmosphere is nice, especially at night. It's not packed with people but it's not completely deserted. I've been to Yard House in Sunrise a bunch of times and it's pretty much my go-to when I want good food a chill vibe and a ridiculous beer selection. Went again last weekend with a couple of buddies and yeah still solid. The beer list is massive. I'm into IPAs and they've got everything from local craft stuff to weird seasonal brews I've never heard of. Bartender actually gave me a great recommendation too which doesn't always happen in places like this. Food was legit. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it had the perfect amount of heat without killing the flavor. My friend got the Korean BBQ wings and wouldn't shut up about them the whole night. They give you good portions and the price is fair for the quality. Service was decent. We had to wait like 15 minutes because it was packed but once we sat down everything came out pretty quick and the server actually checked in on us a few times without being annoying. The place has that modern sports bar feel with TVs everywhere and music that's loud enough to notice but not so loud you have to yell. Only real downside is the parking. Sawgrass area is always nuts on the weekend and if there's anything going on at the arena good luck finding a spot fast. Still it's worth the hassle if you're looking for a good pregame or post shopping hangout. Overall Yard House delivers. I was surprisingly impressed with the food and drinks here. I ordered a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. My food came out fresh and hot. That's a plus. It was packed with flavor and made very well done which is what I asked for. Some restaurants tend to have an issue with making burgers very well done which often leaves me disappointed but not Yard House! The bun was buttery and slightly toasted. The BBQ sauce was the perfect blend of sweet goodness and not the tangy type. I prefer my sauces very sweet so I was in heaven. Writing about the burger has me salivating and ready to order another one right now! I also ordered the Malibu Peach cocktail. So delicious! It was the perfect amount of sweet for me and I still felt a buzz. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the service from our waiter although he was really nice. His attention to us was slow but they were busy? The great food and drinks made up for it though. My friend and I were extremely impressed with all the touch less features this restaurant provided. Great solid option in Sawgrass Mills! 35 wait time sucked but otherwise food was really good! Higher quality food options than what you would usually get from a bar. I got the wings and tuna poke tower. Tuna in the tower was not sushi grade so I kept on getting these white tendon pieces that shouldn't be in a tuna poke option at all - that was the biggest downfall of my whole experience. My son loved the rice and beans. The wings was sooooo good we got half Korean half lemon pepper. Husband got the burger and loved it too. They have a gluten friendly menu which was great. I can say I absolutely love coming here. I only ever sit at the bar but today I came with my son so we were given a booth. We waited for a few minutes till we were greeted by our server Camila. Mind you, this was around 1-130 so we didn't come at a busy time at all. We ordered our 3 separate flights. Which took over 10 mins. She got one of my beers wrong. She didn't touch base with us to see how we were so we had to go up to the bar ourself to have them give me the correct beer. It is always unfortunate when you watch a really great restaurant decline. That's what has happened to the Yard House at the Sawgrass Mall. The last few times I have been here I have watched a gradual decline in the quality of the food. Not just the look of it, but the taste as well. Either the chef they have has lost passion or it is not the same chef or chefs who were in the kitchen at its inception. In any case, I will have to only have beer when I visit, because there is no reason to pay for over priced bad food. This visit I had the ahi sashimi appetizer. They changed the recipe 8 months or so ago, but this one wasn't even as good as the one I had 6 months ago which was really just ok. The service at the bar is still really good. And my favorite bartenders are John and Ally, although I haven't seen Ally in a while. The late night happy hour is still a deal, but my advice is to stick to the drinks. Table service has never been very good here, so keep your expectations low because the service is typically slow. Yard house, you are like a great relationship which has started to fade and now I think we may have to spend some time apart to reevaluate what we really want out of this. Ugh.... where do I begin? Firstly, Yard House is like a fine, attractive person who is not so fine after all once you get to know them. The place looks so welcoming... fun.. and spacious. The menu is vast. So many different options to choose from. My family and I ordered different entrees, and sadly... NONE were good! How often does that happen? The manager and our server were VERY KIND, and the manager was kind enough to return our plates and remove them from the bill. Restrooms are nice and large. Seating outside is pleasant as you get to watch people from Sawgrass mills mall walk by. The fish and chips were way too greasy... almost as if fried on a low temperature where the food absorbs more oil than it should. The braised beef short rib pasta was not fresh, the spaghetti with turkey meatballs were COLD! Cold from the fridge type-ah-cold. lol I can go on and on, but you get the idea. Yard House definitely earned a 5 star rating. For starters, the food is off the chain amazing. The menu has changed (a lot) since COVID, in which they no longer have some items such as the coconut shrimp or the famous s'mores dessert dish :( However, they added a LOT of different items to the menu... one of those being the orange chicken dish. I'm going to recommend everyone to try the new Orange Chicken dish, it's probably the BEST dish on the entire menu... it's super crispy, very meaty, and flavored in some type of special sauce that's deliciousssss, you can also get it as a vegan option where it's meatless. Shared a bowl of truffle fries with my fiancé, those are super flavored and amazing, i'm not sure what they put on their truffle fries but those are probably some of the best fries in the city, hands down. As for the chips and queso dip on the Appetizer menu, that was a favorite of my fiancé's, the wraps that comes with it were amazing. The atmosphere here is great, booth seats are really high which I love... no one's really watching you eat, lots of privacy and tv's in almost every corner. Our server was super nice and veryyy attentive. The wait for a Sunday around 1-2 was pretty long, but I must admit that I do like their wait list website where they send you a link and you can continuously see your place in line. Because of this, we were able to go into the game room across from Yard House and play a few games while we checked what place we were at in line via our phone. Although the wait was long and the food took a while to come out, it was well worth it. Yard House, probably now one of my favorite/top restaurants. read more

My husband said his beer was good and it was their house ale. Everything came out hot and fresh just the way I like it. They are kid friendly and had a fun activity sheet that kept the kids entertained. They have plenty of seating indoors and outside. There are also fans to keep you cool in the summer heat. These places used to be primo big box food. Now it sucks. Who puts sultana raisins into a freaking Caesar salad?! The lettuce and kale would need 911 to be resuscitated from the dressing drowning, which doesn't need a Cuisine & Order detective to deduce that this dressing drowning, the vegecide, was a cover-up of the rotten lettuce bits in the mix that I picked out, along with the sultanas. We ordered a soft pretzel. It showed up after the mains. The cheese dip was watery. The pretzel was dry, and stale. The seared ahi was great. The Lake Erie of sauce that it sat in was big time overkill. The burger looked good. The dropper dashed before we could ask for ketchup for it. By the time that the waitress was going to saunter back to our remote outpost, the sun may be in danger of going out. The ketchup arrived after most of the now cold burger was consumed, about 10 after it was dropped. Thankfully they have the e-waiter on the tables which takes orders. and payment at its terminal, or I'd still be there, waiting for her next orbit. When I started filling out the survey that the machine drops, she suddenly reappeared. Darden Restaurants created these places and started them with real chefs. Those folks are paid too well, and the company moves them around, leaving behind these people taught to plate for pretty photos, but so much of the food is substandard. Now I know why every other place at Sawgrass had a forty minute wait, and this was 10-15. Avoid this Darden disaster! read more
