We have been to this chain only twice now, both times at this location. If you love beer, this is will be your spot! Still, even if you aren't into brews, I think they have a nice sized menu that will suit a variety of palettes. Our first visit was for lunch, they do have deals at this time of day and even on the weekend. So many times the specials are only Monday to Friday. The food and service were both good. We sat outside, which is a great place to people watch. Our second visit was during the happy hour and we sat at the bar. The drink specials were GREAT considering these are craft beers and not the typical cheap crap like Bud Light. There is also a great happy hour menu with some very nice prices. We ordered the pizza and nachos, both were sizable portions. My husband went for the half yard of beer and I had two pints. Our total bill was $37 plus tip, which was awesome! The first attempt to go there on a Saturday evening was a fail since it was so busy. We tried again later but for lunch which was great and there were plenty of seats. We asked to be sat outside but regretted it since there were so many fruit flies trying to fly up your nose. I decided to order off of their lunch menu. I had the 600 calories roasted turkey club and a bowl of clam chowder. That was the perfect amount of food and it was great tasting. The sandwich had cheese, roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. I had it with wheat bread. The clam chowder was perfect, warm, and tasty. I really enjoyed my lunch choice and the service was decent. My only complaint was that the food came out a little slow. We ordered plates as a large group to pick off of, and I wasn't disappointed in any. This Yard House's location is one of my favorites. Whenever I visit I always have a pleasant time dining here, whether it be inside or outside on their patio. Yard House is definitely a great place to gather with friends, host a birthday celebration, (or any kind of dinner celebration), go on a date, or simply enjoy a meal at the bar alone. This location seems to do well with large groups attending a private celebration. The section towards the back creates somewhat of a separation from the rest of the restaurant, giving the party some privacy. The large booths along the wall can hold large party's as well and also comfortably seat a small party of two. This is a welcomed addition to those who live out West! Out West, where selections are somewhat lacking, is now a great Yard House and all of their beer and gastropub glory! This place is always packed- especially during peak hours- so plan accordingly! Even the bar is always stacked with patrons. My husband and I have eaten here twice now, and both times we have left happy. Our first visit (1st for this location, as we have been to other Yard House locations), we had a lovely waitress named Samantha. She was super pleasant and professional, and provided a totally great dining experience. We shared the Poke Tuna Nachos, which are fries wonton skins, topped with tuna cubes, avocado, scallions, nori, and sauces: truffle, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. These are great for sharing! My husband and I enjoyed them for sure. We also shared Buffalo Cauliflower bites, which come with a tahini dipping sauce. This is under the "snack" section of the menu, and is quite delicious! We finished the meal with a Black Truffle Burger, which was perfectly prepared to our specifications and served with a side of fries. Pro Tip: get a side of truffle aioli to dip your fries- you're welcome! Our latest visit was also good. I had another burger, and they were happy to oblige to my special request - they have a Kurobata Pork Burger on the menu- it's topped with spicy candy bacon, white American cheese, and blueberry ketchup. I had them swap the Pork patty for a normal beef patty. The blueberry ketchup was absolutely and surprisingly delicious. It was totally un-ketchup-like and I mean that as a compliment. Each visit, I've definitely enjoyed their adult beverages! They have endless craft beer choices- and I mean WHOA! The IPA list alone is impressive. They also have a chalkboard of special drafts, so make sure to ask about that before you decide! They offer their beers in half yard sizes. I'm not exactly sure how many ounces that works out to be, but it feels like 2.5 beers or so. You definitely need two hands! Haha! My husband had loved their old fashions. They have options already on the menu, and also offer a "create your own" section. Select the liquor, the simple (regular, smoked fig, blackberry, brown sugar), and you've made your own! They even have proper whiskey ice cubes and dark cherries. It's a win! They have many cocktails, but I haven't gone that route for myself yet. The only issue I have is drink ordering. Drinks take a long time to get to you. Like, way too long. We have to hold out on food ordering so that we allow ample time to have a drink. It's a bit ridiculous, so I do hope they work that out for a better customer experience. I was trying to decide between the Orange Chicken and the Sesame Chicken Bowl and ended up ordering the Orange Chicken because I thought the Sesame Chicken Bowl was going to be bland. After our server, Peter, took our order and walked away, he came back to tell me that the sauce was a little spicy and asked if that was ok. I changed my order to the Sesame Chicken Bowl and am so glad that I ended up getting that as it was sooo yummy! My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich because his friend always raves about how good it is. After getting acclimated to how spicy it was, he thought it was really good. My daughter wanted to try the meatless chicken so she got the Gardein boneless Buffalo chicken wings but unfortunately didn't care for it. This is the last time I'm coming here! Asparagus in my bowl was white and big long stick broke into pieces. You can't even chew them. A medium rare steak went back well done. The second one came out and most of it's well done as well. I'm not sure they did anything because the same pieces were still on my plate. Yard House is a chain of sports bar restaurants founded in Long Beach California in 1996. It was purchased by the Darden brand in 2012 and now operates out of Orlando. There are currently around 80 restaurants and this one is located at the Oasis entrance of Sawgrass Mills Mall. They play classic rock and are known for their large selection of 100 craft beers. I recently became a Yard House Insider and they email me coupons for different promotions. This week they were offering half priced burgers. I decided to combine a late lunch and shopping trip so I headed out to Sawgrass Mills Mall. Parking here can be tricky. The lot is very small and constricted for the movie theater and large restaurants not to mention the shopping in this area. I came on a weekday so it wasn't as bad as it is on the weekend. Since I was dining alone I opted to sit at the bar which was pretty full. I was greeted by my server John who really made me feel welcomed. Since I came at 4 I was able to indulge in happy hour. For Happy Hour they have $2 off beer, wine, and cocktails and half priced appetizers. It was a deal I could not pass up. Along with my classic cheese burger I ordered a Malibu Peach Martini and the Wisconsin cheese curds which I had recently been introduced to by a Wisconsin friend. The cheese curds were supposed to come out first so I could enjoy them with my drink but everything ended up coming out together. Not a big deal but it was the first sign of the trouble to come. I bit into my burger and the medium well burger requested was completely raw. To quote Gordon Ramsey "you could have bleeping killed someone ". It was so raw it was cold in the middle. I was completely disgusted. John took it off the bull and I was done. You can't be serving bacteria laden raw meat to people. I took my curds to go and was outta there. My experience here was a shame because I liked my cocktail, the server John, and the music. I would never order meat here again. Waited :30 for a smoky & very buggy outdoor table. Lazaro C. our waiter took our order only to serve 4 people with 3 waters & :30 later only three meals, it took 30 more minutes to get the last meal. The food was good, but the service was pretty awful. It was a very disappointing & frustrating dinner! Upfront we told Lazaro C. our waiter in advance that we needed to be out by 6:30 at 6:45 were chasing him for the bill. I actually got up holding trays of our food to get them wrapped up to go, because my husband barely ate. I juggled platters from outside past our waiter, who watched me try to open the door with my hands full. We arrived before 5:00 and left at almost 7:00. First time at this location. The first thing I did text a pic of their brunch menu to my girlfriends to see if they were up to do it. Well... one word of advice; don't get the Avocado toast!! Yes I meant to put two exclamation marks. My husband and I ordered one to share as an appetizer and we added the two eggs. What we got was two pieces of toast with cream cheese spread (We were later told it was feta cheese, but I never seen spreadable feta before) a bunch of salad and over that, tomatoes, bit there was absolutely no avocado. That was OK thought, maybe they just forgot to put avocado, but in reality I already knew that it was not going to be good. To me avocado toast is toast a lot of avocado and maybe some cheese or light garnish, not the amount of crap they piled onto these toast. Also they should ask if you want to put the eggs over the toast. We sent it back, and what came back was not much better, a super thin shmear of avocado on top of the cheese spread and the lot of salad and the egg, didn't even make a new one. We we ended up sending it back all together. I think maybe they ran out of avocado, I cannot see that being their normal fare, but own it. Just tell me "we're out" don't insult my intelligence. Me entree was very good, I had the margarita chicken. Service was meh, when the avocado incident occurred they were very apologetic, but other than that our waiter hardly came by. He was courteous, but not that attentive. It wasn't busy, so no excuse. I don't think the $15 bottomless mimosa would have been worth the money with how little they came by. Some things that have been a hit or a miss are the appetizer chicken nachos. I've had them when they were OMG delicious and other times when they were just blah. The spinach dip appetizer was just terrible. It was served with soggy, not fresh, tortilla chips. But the one recent time I ordered orange chicken, it was excellent. And surprisingly, the turkey club was good. I just wish they offered other bread like whole wheat or multigrain bread. The prices used to be decent. Now there's no longer a lunch menu. Just found my new Go-To Stopped in with a coworker for lunch and was greeted by a manager "Anthony" He asked if we've ever dined there before? I asked him about a dish I had at a previous Yard House. He informed us they no longer carry it, "But Everything Here is Amazing" (bold statement).
