    Filet Mignon steak 8 oz

Good food. Steak was medium rare. Although it is quite pricey but felt nutritious and I was left satisfied and feeling good

Service was very slow and unorganized and it's crazy because I sat at the bar lol. I also feel like the nachos looked like slop. The presentation was crazy. Timmy was very nice and did the best he could.

Came in to try their TikTok famous happy hour and I wasn't mad at it! Since I was in a town with a location I had to go. Got seated quickly and service was great. The Poke nachos were HUGE and delicious. My Brussel sprouts were also a good size portion and very tasty. My mom got the pepperoni pizza and said it was decent. We both also got two drinks each which were good. Overall I would definitely try Yard House again.

    Fontina Vodka Penne (with Shrimp)

This restaurant comes highly recommended on Yelp and is just a short walk from the hotels downtown - even in the rain, the walk is worth it! We arrived to a line out the door on a Friday night but we only waited around 25 minutes for a table. The seating inside is plentiful and the atmosphere is loud but cozy and fun - family friendly and enjoyable. We enjoyed the most amazing food - Fontina Vodka Penne (with Shrimp), Kale & Romaine Caesar Salad, Whiskey & Aged White Cheddar Burger, 20oz Bone-in Ribeye. The steak and burger were cooked to perfection, the sauces were outstanding and the Caesar salad was by far the best out of all of this listed. The bar selection and beer selection were amazing - the menu clearly highlights the types of beer into each category which helps make a decision much faster. The Cider on tap was so good. The service was good- they were very busy so refills and checking in on us took a bit longer, but it was understandable and we didn't have any issues at all. Our server gave the best recommendations for top sellers and her favorites which is nice being from out of town!

Saw the pic of lobster shrimp noodles and wanted to try them. Before ordering this more Asian version, I tried to order the agnolotti which is a creamy Italian version of the same thing pretty much. They no longer offer this. The lobster and shrimp was fresh tasting but I felt the sauce was too salty. A respectable quantity but also reflected in the price. Very friendly staff. Clean and typically busy DC. Efficient servicing system. Open later here than other Yard Houses kinda near me.

Service was great. Isa did a great job checking on us and making sure we had anything we needed. All of our orders came out timely and tasted great. It was an exiting crowd combining America's 250th birthday and World Cup action on the telly. We really enjoyed our experience.

The ahi tuna nachos my sister loved. My jambalaya was not tasty lacked seasoning sent back. Had the pepperoni pizza was good. Service was ok little slow. Place had a heavy wait time and didn't call to say it's your turn instead sent a text saying ur removed from the list.

Midnight sangria (red wine + remy)

Good for big groups! Over the last few months I've been in for happy hour with at least 10 and they were able to easily accommodate us. The happy hour specials are good. Not many happy hours around these days so it's nice to see this place thriving! I recently had the midnight sangria (red wine + remy). I only had one! It was nice and strong! Select apps are 50% off. I tried the sliders - comes with 4 and a side of fries. Definitely a great deal. I couldn't even finish them all. Our two servers were great. I only remember Naimah's name, but thank you both for your great service. It's so easy to pay on the app with the split check!

    Flight of beer

I'm not going to lie, I've been to Yard Houses before but this one is the best one I've been to. They handled a busy waitlist amazingly with their text system and estimates being very accurate. They have a great upstairs area which was perfect for the evening. The bar was busy but rightfully so. The food was delicious and I loved the flight of beer that I had. They were local brews that tasted awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We were able to snag a table for two on a Thursday night. The service was a bust - the waitress seemed to be distracted and it took her quite a while to come around to take our orders (we were sharing apps and later learned we could've just done it ourselves on the tablet that was on the table). We shared the onion ring tower, queso dip, boneless wings and fries. My thoughts: Onion ring tower: came with two sauces, one of them was supposed to ranch but it was a bit flavorless. The onion rings had a nice batter and the portion could easily be shared with a bigger party. The boneless wings are fries were decent, nothing noteworthy. The wings did come with the same flavorless ranch sauce as the onion rings. The queso dip was a huge portion, could also be shared with a bigger party. It came with both chips and tortillas which was completely unexpected. The dip was the star of the show for me it terms of appetizers. It had a great flavor.

Their happy hour deals are really great but it can get pretty busy and take a while to get service. I got the poke nachos which were delicious. I'll definitely be back for happy hour again.

Fun atmosphere. Great beer and food. We enjoyed the Firecracker Shrimp, Buffalo Wings, and of course, the 20oz Bone-in Ribeye was fantastic.

    Keilon L.

I've been here numerous times and its typically for happy hour and then other times it's very late at night. One important note is that there is no happy hour on game nights across the way at the arena and that's a shame. That's reason for one automatic star loss. There's mad events at Capital One Arena and for them to just cancel happy hour because something is happening down the street is nasty corporate America work. Now on to the food. It's always pretty good. I've never had a bad experience here. The bartenders are normally very engaging so that brings up the experience. Always try to get a seat at the bar because it's the most interesting. Table experiences remind you of just a regular casual dining experience.

Before getting to the food, I'll first rate the interior excellent. It's big and open, and has a modern yet rustic design, which makes it an excellent atmosphere. They had an impressive list of wines and cocktails, but the draft beer selection was limited. Could use a bit more variety on tap, but I enjoyed the Imperial IPA nonetheless. As for the food; all of it was on the pricey sized given the quality and quantity served, but the salmon collar was by far my favorite -- followed by the chicken, although the chicken was a bit less meaty than I expected. The gem salad, the carrots and the steak fries were all very "meh," and the bisques seemed like small ciabatta buns rather than actual biscuits. All that aside, the biggest disappointment was unfortunately the ax ribeye - it wasn't cooked properly (despite asking for med-rate, depending on the bite, it ranged from medium to very rare), and it was really stringy and fatty - a major disappointment for a steakhouse. Deserts were delicious, I really enjoyed the ice cream cake and thought the peanut butter pie was good. Service was great, prompt and friendly. So I definitely wouldn't recommend this place as a statehouse based on my experience, but would consider coming for the salmon.

Between the added service fee/surcharge and the prompt for standard tipping on top of that, the final bill felt disproportionately high for casual neighborhood dining. Hidden fees stacking up on top of regular menu prices takes away from what would have otherwise been an easy 4- or 5-star meal. Great kitchen output, but management really needs to rethink the fee creep.

First off, there seemed to be only one waiter handling around 7-8 tables. Tables on both sides of us were visibly getting frustrated with how slow the service was. We came to enjoy ourselves and weren't in a rush, so we didn't mind waiting as much, but the service was noticeably slow. Interestingly, the actual dishes came out fairly quickly, but everything else--ordering, drinks, checking in, and getting things we needed--took a long time. For a restaurant at this price point, I was also expecting the overall experience and atmosphere to feel a little more elevated. It didn't really feel particularly upscale or special, and the bathrooms were noticeably dirty, which was surprising and definitely took away from the experience. Overall, the food was decent, but between the understaffed service, cleanliness, and atmosphere, I didn't feel the experience matched the price. Restaurant Week is usually a great opportunity to try a higher-end restaurant and want to come back, but unfortunately I don't think I'd return at the regular menu prices.

I visited as part of the full experience -- dinner downstairs at Birch & Barley, then up to Churchkey for drinks -- and honestly, it's one of the best evenings I've had in DC. Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. The smash burger also deserves a mention: simple, well-executed, and hits the spot. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming. Great for a date, a group, or even just sitting at the bar solo with a good beer and good conversation with the bartender.
