The good: the food was Absolutely delicious! We had the gyozas and they were just scrumptious. Being a ramen bar we had to try the ramen. I had the spicy ramen with grilled chicken. It was good but for my spicy lovers, I can say the spicy level was a 2/10. Also tried the miso ramen with fried shrimp and beef. Our waiter warned us the breading would get soggy on the protein and it sure did. Flavor wise great but stick to grilled proteins. (Just Fyi menu includes more than just ramen!) The great: the environment is very chill, comfy and has a nice outdoor seating. Also have a great bar with variety or sake. We tried the Tokyo sour and let me just say it has egg in it but boy was it yummy. Perfect texture flavor and alcohol amount. The wonderful: the staff is amazing and major props to John our waiter, he took the time to explain and give great recommendations. Also was very patient and attentive. Yasuke Ramen is well maintained and has a nicely lit interior with a small bar area and several TVs. My GF and I ordered takeout from here. It did take almost half an hour for us to receive our small order. They were not that busy, so hopefully in the future they can better manage and expedite their order flow. We ended up ordering the small 5 piece portion of the Karaage Chicken wings, a spicy ramen with katsu chicken, and a pork katsu curry. The Karaage chicken wings were overpriced, and the wings were very small. The wings were also dry and tough. The spicy ramen had a good amount of broth and noodles. I thought that the ramen noodles were cooked well and they were not chewy. However, the broth tasted very salty, and only had a hint of spiciness. Maybe the ramen would have tasted better if we dined in, but it's highly unlikely. Lastly, the pork katsu curry was a decent value because it came with a huge portion and the curry was flavorful. The main problem we had with the dish was that the katsu was dry and tough to chew. In a sense, it felt as if you were chewing bricks. Overall, I'm glad to see another ramen place come to the valley, but I hope they re-evaluate their menu prices and improve upon the quality of their entrees. read more

This is by FAR my favorite ramen I have ever had! I have tried many different ramen places, in different cities as well, and nothing compares to Yasuke Ramen. The noodles are perfect, the soup is delicious, and the amount of food they provide is worth every dollar spent. Also, the service here is phenomenal. The rice was too hot and warmed the salmon, the flavor was ok. Our server didn't return until it was time to pay which was inconvenient but ambiance was chill. Terrible hostess at the front desk! We arrived at 6:40pm after calling first and we were instructed no phone reservations. Upon arrival we were told 15 minute wait even though there were six empty tables and five empty seats at the bar. NO ONE seemed to have any sense of urgency whatsoever especially the female hostess in the (brown shirt with a ponytail). She is LAZY and does not wear a name tag or I would expose her personally. I worked MANY years in food service and this type behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.If the owners or upper management know of her behavior and don't retrain her she will DESTROY your business so shame on you. I've loved this place for years. This new location has gone down the drain. Service was terrible, you have to ask for items repeatedly, they'll charge you "extra" for the normal portion of meat and on top of that, you'll get food poisoning. Quite disappointed. Started with kimchi fries. The order came without any kimchi in it. When we asked the waiter about it he couldn't tell us if it was supposed to have kimchi. He asked other staff and probably the kitchen and came out with a small dish of very cold kimchi. The menu does state it comes with kimchi. It tasted decent...but how can you forget kimchi on kimchi fries? Ordered spicy ramen with chicken for the main meal. Took way to long to come out, especially since the place was mot overly busy. We took two bites and sent it back. Upon receiving the check the server told us that they would only refund half the price of the appetizer stating," there was nothing wrong with the dish. You just didn't like it. " I ask you, is this good business Marisol? The service here is really bad, we showed up and ordered, then more people started coming in. I noticed that the people that showed up after us started getting their meals. They were half way finished, when we asked the waiter to check on our meal. Then they finally brought out our appetizer and our meal at the same time. Went today with my mother!! We had gone to celebrate her birthday, mom ordered the Kimchi fries as I ordered the donburi. Both exceptionally great meals, and as for the drinks? I asked if he could check and he said said he could. Ramen, when it finally came out was pedestrian at best. A hard boiled egg and funky foam in the broth was not appetizing. Awesome ambiance indoors and private, large outdoor patio! The bowls of ramen are huge and tasty. The shoyu and spicy broths are both vegetarian, great options for everyone. The wings were generously covered in sauce. Service was great and friendly. Definitely will be coming back soon! read more

My experience at Yasuke was amazing! James, my server, was really helpful and kind, giving recommendations with no problem when we asked for them and being incredibly patient. They said the wait was going to be 45 minutes, which is expected on a Friday evening, but we got sat in about 30 minutes at a nice table outside right by the fan.
