I come here frequently and it hits every time, I think I came on an off day only once. During the week it's pretty calm which is great for a quick bite, I went as a group of three and we were out in 40 minutes on a simple Monday. The take out is also fresh and convenient as well. The staff is always nice and efficient even when it gets busy (typically weekend nights). My favorite on the menu is currently the sushi deluxe, but I also get a variety of different special rolls in their maki special combo.

Yasuo has such a huge menu, I had a hard time deciding between ramen or sushi (or both)! I went with the Sunshine Roll, and let me tell you, it was amazing--super fresh and packed with flavor. Exactly what you want from sushi. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Just a heads-up, the parking lot is tiny (only fits about 4 cars plus 1 handicap spot), but the service was super fast when we came around 4:30 pm since it wasn't too busy.

So I finally came to check this place out . Some parking in the back - other than that- it's street parking Inside is cute- I like the booths Food is ok . Tried one roll- spicy crunchy tuna . Also tried the truffle shrimp ramen soup.

We called to do a takeout order as their website was closed for orders. Small bummer- no lunch sushi special today but understandable. We ordered 2 salmon avocado rolls, one spicy salmon roll, one seaweed salad, one avocado roll, one cucumber avocado roll - total cost came out to $42. Overall unimpressed with what we got but not dissatisfied, don't think we would return- but the restaurant interior looked nice

I got my order to go so I didn't get to dine in. The ramen was very tasty, and sooo gooood. Loved the pork belly and the broth was delicious. Would definitely order ramen from here again :)

Update review!!!!! I ordered chicken tempura and they gave me SHRIMP AND CHICKEN on Uber eats!!!!! I literally had an allergic reaction :( I didn't notice until I saw pink in my sushi and thought I had raw chicken when it was shrimp! I was so upset

My original review was my first time at Yasuo, and since then, I cannot say I've had as quality of an experience. I've tried ordering takeout twice, the second time giving them the benefit of the doubt, but was unfortunately disappointed on both occasions. During the first, the employee taking my order was terse and unfriendly, and actually put the phone down and left me hanging on the call for at least five minutes after asking a question about one of their menu items. This led me to eventually having to hang up. I called again and just ordered; after picking up and trying our food, my family had mutually agreed that it wasn't very fresh. During the second, after a long day of work, I ordered online for delivery from Yasuo. I try to give grace to workers in food because I know it's not easy, but it took over an hour to get my food after an expected 25 minutes listed on the delivery. I tried calling in for updates twice after the 25 minutes passed, even asking for some kind of discount or accommodation once it hit the 1 hour mark, but was met with no info but "it should be coming". I absolutely love supporting small businesses, but I believe good customer service is an integral piece in any successful restaurant. If they had just communicated the first time that they were busy or the second time that my order would take longer than expected, I wouldn't have been upset at all! I'd love to dine here again if they improve on some of these elements, but for now I sadly would not recommend!

Very clean place. Fresh food..., a little different than the usual ones but very interesting taste. This time I tried special rolls... next time will try something different.

Stopped in for dinner. Place was nicely decorated and ambiance was laid-back. Lots of options for seating as they usually cater to big groups. We were attended promptly and we were starving so this was very much appreciated. We started off with some appetizers. We got the edamame and the beef negimaki. The edamame was overly salty. If you're ordering I would mention that you want them lightly salted. However, the beef negimaki could've used a little more flavoring. Was my first time trying it and wouldn't say it was a favorite of mine. We also shared some sushi rolls. The dynamite and spicy crunchy tuna were delicious. For entree, I was craving ramen and this restaurant is known it so I decided to give it a try. I got the Miso Ramen and I did not like it at all. I actually took a couple bites and that was all I could have. I left almost the entire bowl. The broth was tasteless and the meat was overcooked. It had a rubber texture to it that wasn't very appetizing. I was disappointed. I would recommend this place if you're looking to dine with a large group. Maybe just if you're getting sushi. I personally wouldn't come back.

This could be a new hidden gem within the 5 points area. Yasuo Ramen and Sushi completely surprised me. I drove by it the other day recently noticing the grand opening out front. Today after work I decided to order the Yasuo Tonkotu and the Maki Combo. The moment I opened the bowl for my ramen, my mouth started to instantly water. The portion is great. I'm a big guy, so I get annoyed when I sometimes get one cut of pork in my ramen. So needless to say I was happy when I saw not one, but THREE cuts of delicious juicy pork in my bowl. The broth (which came in a seperate container) was nice and hot, and once I poured it in to my ramen bowl, the aroma flooded my nostrils. Taking my first bite, I instantly knew this place was special. The sushi!? Beautiful. Amazing taste and amazing cuts. I can't wait to try more dishes from here both at home and in person!! I ordered delivery from here and expected to wait at least 40 minutes, not even 15 minutes after I ordered, my food arrived! Like what!?

I was in the mood for ramen and decided to give this spot a try. I called in my order of the vegan miso ramen and they said it would take 15 minutes. When I arrived I parked in their mini parking lot. I walked in and was greeted. I told the lady my name and my food was ready. I paid a little over $15 and left. When I got in I dug in. The ramen was so good. I am not a big tofu fan but they seasoned it to perfection. The broth was good and the ramen was good. I truly enjoyed and would return.

Great food and service with clean establishment. The menu was extensive, but everything we tried was delicious! I'd recommend the scallion pancakes for appetizers. The tonkatsu ramen was surprisingly delicious, the only thing I'd say is the noodles were a little too thin and soft for my liking. But the broth was rich and flavorful, as was the pork. The egg was perfectly soft boiled. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and it's definitely the best ramen I've had in the surrounding area.

The main entrance is next to the kitchen, which is designed for food delivery and takeout operations. The L-shaped dining room wraps around the kitchen and offers an impressive amount of seating for 80 people with ample natural lighting. The interior decor follows the same rigid industrial wood and metal aesthetic that almost every new hipstery restaurant chain has subscribed to for the past decade. In case you've forgotten that ramen is Japanese, you'll also see neon signs on the walls illuminating some common Japanese phrases (although without furigana). Two gendered restrooms are located left of the kitchen in the far corner of the building and each have two stalls and one sink. I ordered the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen with a side of Chili Charred Brussels for takeout. I placed the order 30 minutes in advance and it was ready at the scheduled pickup time. The Chili Charred Brussels were about five halved sprouts that were steamed and lightly sauteed with a light sprinkling of mustard greens and pepper flakes. I actually enjoyed these more than the ramen I ordered, but they did not have much noticeable charring (or the caramelization that comes with charring). I had a very difficult time enjoying the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen, which is the first item on the ramen menu. The dry ingredients are packaged in the main serving bowl and the broth in a separate plastic takeout container for you to combine yourself. The main attraction of the Tokyo Shoyu Ramen is the three massive slabs of braised pork, which did not disappoint. I tried some of dry ingredients first before drowning them in liquid, although I could not find any bean sprouts. The noodles were slightly undercooked, possibly to compensate for the hot broth. Everything kind of went downhill after I added the shoyu broth. Although the shoyu did impart flavor to the meat and ramen, it was so overwhelmingly salty that it was completely undrinkable by itself. After finishing the noodles, I felt like I was sipping boiled dipping sauce. If chicken broth was in the mix, I certainly couldn't taste it. This is particularly concerning because half of the ramen menu contains this same shoyu tare, and will most likely be too overpowering for most people. In retrospect, I should have ordered the brothless mazemen ramen. The food preparation, while adequate, seemed a bit rushed based on what I ate. Perhaps 30 minutes was not enough lead time for the kitchen, or perhaps this is just how Ani Ramen makes its food. While I appreciate that Ani has helped make ramen more accessible in Central Jersey, it's probably not my first choice for ramen or any of the eclectic side dishes on the menu, e.g. brussels sprouts, kimchi, and gua bao (none of which are Japanese).
