I decided to get breakfast here with a friend and I'm so glad we came here. I absolutely loved the experience. Not only was the food delicious, but the ambiance is cozy, the service was fast, and the staff was friendly. There was about a 45 minute wait which was expected since we came on a Saturday. For food I decided to try The Sultan, which was incredible and cooked to perfection. The short ribs literally melts in your mouth. The flavors were immaculate and incredibly well balanced. OMG AND THE BACON IS SO GOOD. Probably the best bacon I've ever had. The food presentation was also SO beautiful, definitely instagram worthy. For my cocktail I decided to try the espresso martini bomb and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The "bomb" is a sphere espresso ice cube. It wasn't too strong, and it wasn't too sweet, just how I like it. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and for her cocktail she had the blackberry whiskey sangria and she loved it. Overall if you're looking for delicious breakfast, yummy cocktails, beautiful food presentation, great service, and a cozy vibe. I highly recommend checking this place out. The meals were excellent. I got the Sultan, it's was home fries which were red bliss & sweet potatoes, brisket, poached egg with harissa hollandaise sauce. My sister order chicken & waffles and informed me they were the best ones ever. The chicken was cooked nice & tender, the waffle was the softw latest waffle ever & the maple syrup had some delicious heat in it. It was scrumptious. The waitstaff was phenomenally the one we had was very attentive. We had a slight mix up with our meal delivery. So the cook decided to make me another order and gave it to me for free. But due to the timing they also gave us 3-soundtracks holes to hold me over while my meal was being made. I'll definitely be going again. read more

We usually have a great time here. This most recent experience was different. The lattes were covered in honey (the outsides of the cups too), the food was good but not up to it's usual standard (egg white undercooked, soggy potatoes), service was lacking (couldn't get someone to bring butter), it was very cold inside (had to keep on our coats). Then I sent an email to let the owners know... a week ago... they never replied. That brought it from 4 to 3 stars. I don't feel Ike a valued customer when I'm ignored while I was trying to do the right thing and go directly to them rather than posting a review. One of our favorite farm to table brunch places. I've been several times since they opened. My only complaint is how small it is and the long wait times. Sometimes food that should be hot is cool but so believe this is due to how busy they are. The food is high quality and the pricing reflects that. It's always disappointing when you hear about a place that's gotten so much positive reviews that just ends up being nowhere close to the praise. There were flashes of brilliance, but unfortunately it was overshadowed by bad service and alright food. Got sat in 10 mins but no one greeted us until 15 mins later. We ordered our food and it took 30 mins to get out. The short rib hash was bland but good. The short rib was the star and I wish there was more of it. Finally stopped by to try this place out. For drinks we got mimosa, momma's morning glory sangria and a iced pistachio latte. The latte could've been a bit sweeter but it was still good. Mimosa came out warm but after the first drink the server made sure the next ones were cold. I got the caramel macchiato French toast and farm fresh and subbed bacon for the candied bacon and wowww I'm glad I did!! The bacon was sooo good and not too sweet. French toast was very flavorful, it felt like I was eating dessert for breakfast lol. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and said it didn't have much flavor to it. Yaz's isn't a huge place so I try to plan on getting there at a little bit of an off time to avoid the wait. It's worth the wait though if you happen to get there and a line for is already forming. Don't leave! I promise it's worth it! This last visit we started off by sharing the seasonal donut holes. These aren't your Dunkin munchkins! Very tasty but heavy so have a few folks to share with. We also got a few unique beverages. Mine was the pistachio latte and oh my goodness was it good! I mean, it had a baklava rim - do I actually need to say more?! My go to dish every time, even when I say I'm going to try something new, is the grand bowl. So delicious with the sweet potatoes, garlicky kale, sprouts, eggs, and on and on. My picture doesn't do it justice because I can't stand runny yolks. I request the eggs be practically over cooked. This isn't a Yaz's flaw - it's mine. You put your name down and they text you when your table is available. The brunch menu was creative and there were so many options to choose from. The meals do not come with and sides or home fries s so make sure to order sides for the table! The plates and presentation was absolutely beautiful. But I feel that for what it's worth, it could have tasted better. The eggs were perfectly poached. The lobster and short ribs with perfectly cooked. Just OK. For the 45 min+ wait and high prices, I expected a lot more. Out of everything we tried, the Sultan was the best but even that dish was alright. The star was the maple bacon but the rest was just a pile of potatoes to fill space. Barely any meat. For the chicken and waffles, the chicken was very basic - like a chicken cutlet. The waffle was solid with good flavor and the syrup was a good balance between sweet and spicy but I didn't get enough of it. Yaz has a unique menu but the food just don't hit the mark. They also charge a $5 covid fee per table. I get why but regardless if you are at a table of 6 or grabbing lunch for 1, you get $5 added which doesn't make sense. They say it's optional and to "ask server to remove this fee", but we all know that no one wants to have that awkward convo. read more

We decided to try this place right around 1:30 pm on Sunday, and worried about going so close to closing, but the restaurant was full when we arrived, so it was all good! I tried one of the specials - an avocado stuffed with a poached egg, pesto, fresh mozzarella and balsamic vinegar. The flavors were phenomenal and it was such a fantastic combination of flavors. My only critique is that one of the two poached eggs was a little overdone (the yolk didn't ooze out). Otherwise, perfection! I also had the peach mimosa which was a bit small for $10 but very tasty. My friend had the short ribs Benedict which also looked fantastic. I love the ambience of this place - cute and homey, and even when full it wasn't overly loud. On a nicer day, I'd love to sit outside too. It is nice that it is loaded right next door to Cream - we definitely stopped for ice cream for dessert!
