Fruit cake vanilla with blueberries and strawberries inside.
    Sonny A.

Fruit cake is good and exceeded our expectations. Cake is soft and fluffy and the fruit inside is very fresh. Cake is not too sweet and it's savory. I will definitely be back to try their other flavors. Cashier is nice and gave us candles for my birthday and a plastic cake knife with our purchase. The store is small but has a good selection of bread as well.

The bakery store is located in the corner spot not far from the grocery store, amble parking in the shared lot. It has limited categories of cakes and pastry stuff, though the bread was very soft and snack sized bakery were crunchy.

They sell Mochi with red bean inside. Its pretty good for $1.50 each. Also, they have cake rolls which are inexpensive.

The cream puffs are AMAZING! They are just right, and you get 2 decently sized cream puffs for just $1. Can't beat that :)

I've always loved walking in there, inhaling the oven-fresh aromas like a FIEND, ever since I was in grade school-- I'll turn 51 in a few days. You have ONE slice of their special occasion shortcakes (strawberry, mango, and I think one more variety), and you instantly become a new customer--this has been their calling card for DECADES, and they EXPONENTIALLY grow their clientele with each cake sold (potentially a new customer per slice). Their customers are SO loyal that--as far as I can tell--Honey Bakery isn't even on social media--word-of-mouth, even in 2026, is all that's needed--their baked goods speak for themselves. I highly-recommend their MILK BREAD (you'll be willing to make a special trip here, SOLELY to pick up a bag or two)--if you're a bread-lover, you'll find their freshly+baked loaves to smell intoxicating, and let's see if you can stop yourself from snacking on JUST one slice, right out of the bag....they're REALLY addictive. They come THICK- and THIN-SLICED, but thick especially sells out quickly by mid-morning, so CALL AHEAD & RESERVE your order. As I was reminded by reading another customer's review, payment is CASH-ONLY.

Every time I've gotten a pastry from here in the last 5-8 years they have slowly gotten more and more dense lol. I only ate one pastry, but this pastry had maybe 100 solid layers and I feel like I just stuffed my self at KBBQ... I miss old soft pastry. I used to love their pork sung pastry too, but now it's a pork sung dense bread with a pastry blanket on top. This is a mom and pop shop so I feel like they either hired a new baker or one took over and has a taste for very dense bread and textures... honestly texture is not bad, but way too filling and heavy for me.

I've been coming to Pampanga's Bakery in Artesia for a while now, and it's long overdue that I actually give them their flowers. If you are looking for authentic, comforting Filipino baked goods and kakanin, this is the gold standard. Every time I walk in, the shelves are loaded with staples. Their selection of kakanin is also massive. The **Puto Assorted** and **Puto & Kutsinta** packs ($3.90) are always perfectly soft, vibrant, and fresh, and they have massive trays of **Biko Pandan** and **Cassava Cake** if you're feeding a crowd. For the savory side, the **Chicken Empanadas** and **Fried Lumpia** always hit the spot. And of course, there's the **Turon**. Yes, the price has risen to $1.05 a piece, but honestly? It's just modern economics, and it is still worth every single penny. It is still the absolute best of the best--shattered-crisp, perfectly caramelized on the outside, and packed right. The staff is always fast, the bakery smells like heaven, and the quality has stayed incredibly consistent over the years. Don't be like me and gatekeep it...if you haven't been, stop by!

One thing they have always been consistent about is the quality of their turon--and unfortunately, the long wait times as well. There have been several occasions when we had to pay and come back later because of the high demand for their product. Because we live about 30 miles away, we were advised to place our orders by phone before making the trip, which is exactly what we've been doing. Yesterday, however, we experienced one of the most inefficient customer service experiences we've ever had. We called multiple times to confirm our order, and the staff who answered assured us not to worry because they had plenty available and that our order would be ready when we arrived. When we got there, the exact opposite happened. We were told they had run out of turon and that we would need to wait another hour. While discussing the situation with the cashier, we watched another staff member assist the customer behind us, who purchased 60 pieces. We had preordered only 30 pieces, yet somehow they were able to fulfill that larger order while failing to honor ours. Poor customer service will eventually drive customers away. Yes, the product is excellent, but there will come a time when the product alone is no longer enough to keep customers coming back. Given the popularity of their business, they should be focusing on improving their customer service and honoring preorders to maintain customer loyalty. Good products attract customers, but good service keeps them.

I think compared to the traditional asian bakeries in 626 like Kee Wah, etc., the breads are much softer (a little on the overly soft side). One of my favorite asian breads, the bolo bao, is probably the worst here or at any 85C - the flakiness that's supposed to be the highlight of the bolo bao is not even close to where it needs to be at 85C. But I will say, the bun with the coffee filling inside is spectacular, and I would recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. At night, the selection of the breads is extremely limited, but the place is still popular due to the large variety of drink offerings. There is a lot of seating and the place is generally clean and well-lit. The parking lot is big but it's always busy and may be hard to find a spot unless you park further away sometimes.

Per the promotion, you must order any two Strawberry drinks. They were behind in the drink orders, so I just waited patiently. But, then I noticed people who arrived after me were receiving their drinks. So, when I showed my receipt, not only was my Strawberry Banana smoothie order "lost" but another female customer walked off with/stole my Strawberry Matcha Latte. At this point, 15 minutes have passed and I wasn't offered an apology or compensation (free drink for the inconvenience). Naturally, I was angry and grabbed a display tote to show that I wanted a clean, brand new mini tote as compensation. Which I thought was fair because I didn't want to stand in line again to try and get a refund. Instead, I was accused of trying to "steal" a bag worth 2 cents. Just because I touched the bag. If you want to have your time wasted, drinks stolen and be accused of petty theft this place is for you! Note: Zero stars wasn't an option. Spouse said Strawberry Banana Smoothie was full of nothing but ice and poor quality.
