We tried 2 different pizzas...the Margherita and Funghi, and both were awesome. We also had the Mista salad that was great. 10/10 for food!! Unfortunately our pizzas were very soggy. You couldn't even hold a piece to eat it. We told our waiter, who was TERRIBLE and didn't try to remedy it by getting us new ones or anything for that matter or ever fill our waters or even check on us, and the manager. He said it basically soaked up all the grease and oil and drenched his pizza in an unfavorable greasy and overbearing flavor. My son ordered a pepperoni pizza and they gave him a cheese. The cheese was very greasy and fell apart; not in a good way. Overall, the food was very average; hovering above below average. They denied service to two individuals even though they didn't close for another 50 minutes... however I highly recommend the pizza but if you want to keep your bill light I would recommend becoming vegan... a lot of potential but it seems they are forcing their customers to go down the street to another pizzeria. Great pizza. Recommend building your own pizza and going with applewood smoked bacon, pineapple, and basil. Hopefully this was a one time thing. We only discovered them recently since we have another favorite in town, but Yeah Buddy Pizza is definitely in the rotation now. We ordered take out. Got our order. Walked to our car. I told hubby to check the pizza to see if it's correct. They messed up. We brought it back to the hostess, which was a little girl manning the front desk who just stared at us when we told her that the order was missing (topping they we added and paid for). She took back the pizza. And they sautéed some toppings (mushrooms) and added on top of the pizza. I don't know if you guys know... but mushrooms are suppose to be added before they bake the pizza... so the shroom juices can absorb to the pizza. Nope. They sprinkled some cooked mushrooms on top of our pizza. Lol. See photo. They were understaff so i get why there were errors. But at least comp us for waiting longer for them to fix their mistake. And they didn't even fix it correctly. Sigh. $40 for 2 pizzas. Was it good? Yes yes. Visited here on a road trip while in Jackson. Upon arrival we were pleasantly greeted by a waitress & seated. We ordered the Bison pizza & Pesto pizza, they were both really good, our waitress was attentive & sweet. She played with my daughter most of the time we were there (playing peek-a-boo) Food came out hot & quick, service was great. Overall a great experience which is awesome considering we walked in at 7:30pm, not all places have that same great food/ service at that hour. I found them through Yelp, which offered a free beer (my husband happened to order), our waitress was nice & removed it from our bill when I showed her offer. We mistakenly ordered "the perfect pizza wine" because it was red, not noticing the "Frizante" at the end of the description. An undrinkable waste of $34! So we ordered another bottle. We tried the stuffed mushrooms-highly recommend. Even a non-mushroom eater in our party took a bite. We also had the Pepperoni and rucola pizzas. Hot and yummy.
