What a turnaround! My prior review was from 3 years ago when the restaurant was called Sandro's and…read morebefore the renovation. We would not have come back except we had plans with friends who wanted to meet here. So glad we did! My main complaint before was the acoustics. The renovation with added decor to dampen noise did the trick. I didn't even notice that the restaurant was full. We ordered different dishes and ate it family style so got to try a few different dishes. I didn't order so don't know the specific names but we shared a salad, a spicy calamari, egg yolk ravioli, black linguini with seafood, catfish, and a veal parm. I especially enjoyed the ravioli. Flavors were nice on all the dishes. I don't know if it was the company but I didn't notice a lapse in service. The servers were attentive. The parking was still ample. I'm glad we came back and a little regretful that we waited so long.

Let me start by saying this was hands down one of the most exceptional dining experiences I've had…read morein a long time. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was truly next-level. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and every single person from the host to the bartender to our server and everyone in between played a part in making the night feel special. The attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine kindness did not go unnoticed, and it set the tone for the entire evening. We were first greeted with warm bread and olive oil, which was absolutely delightful and the perfect start. Our server, Paulino (I hope I'm spelling his name right), guided us through the menu with such care and knowledge, which made the experience even better. We started with the mussels Bianco and baked clams both were outstanding, easily a 9/10. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we had the branzino and a pasta dish that was nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail like freshly cracked pepper added right at the table made everything feel elevated and thoughtfully done. To end the night, I mentioned that my mom had just passed her real estate exam and that we were celebrating her. They went above and beyond by bringing out an apple crostini with a candle, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. And yes, we devoured the entire thing. It was that good. Truly a 10000/10 moment. What made this experience even more meaningful is that it came after a long, stressful day at the ER. Walking into such warmth, care, and genuine hospitality meant more than I can put into words. Thank you again for the incredible service, attentiveness, and overall experience. I truly wish I could remember everyone's names because each person we encountered was a pleasure. Please let them know my mom and I are so grateful. We dined on April 3rd around 9 PM, and it's a night we won't forget.

Staff have real Irish accents, which honestly adds to the whole experience without feeling forced. Food is solid comfort stuff--fish and chips were crisp and fresh, and the shepherd's pie hit the spot. Good whiskey selection too. It's not trying to be fancy--and that's exactly why it works. I'd definitely go back.

Definitely wanted the Irish Breakfast and the place made an exception because our server asked the cook if they can and they did!! It's a welcoming and cozy place especially on a rainy day! The menu stated they only serve this on the weekends but today was Columbus Day and since the crowd didn't start coming until a bit later I was able to get the Irish Breakfast I was craving! It was the best I ever had with huge pieces of black and white pudding! They don't serve them this size at a diner that is for sure! My husband was going to order the bangers and mash but they ran out of them so he got the Shepard's Pie which he said was tasty, filling and hit the spot. He had two Guinesses on tap and that was good as well. They also have unsweetened iced tea here which I ordered and enjoyed. Excellent service our server was on her own and did a phenomenal job even as the Pub got busier.

This ritual went on from 2015 - 2019. My family and I loved the food from MB. Fast forward to 2020 and now my family and I live in Manhasset. MB has a different owner and the quality in my opinion has gone south. The bagels now are bigger but are way too dough. I recently purchase a pound of lox cream cheese and there was barely 2 or 3 little oueces of fish in the pound of cream cheese. The sausage, egg and cheese and bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwiches leaves a lot to desire. My kids now get all their breakfast sandwiches from Orlando's. When it comes to our hankering for yummy bagels, we go out of our way and hit Munsey Park Bagels on Northern Blvd. MPB has a wide variety of freshly made bagels. They have the freshest lox, veggie, scallion and jalapeno cream cheese available anywhere. In fact you actually taste the delicious smoky lox in every schmear and bite. Their tunafish salad is to die for and is always fresh and reminds me of the tunafish salad my mom used to make when I was growing up. The only thing better than the food at Munsey Patk Bagel are the people who work there!
