Great service, food was tasty, service is good as usual. My daughter loves their pasta slice and my husband enjoyed the broccoli rabe chicken sandwich!

    Thanksgiving slice

Self proclaimed pizza snob here...found another "new to me" place in my travels. Stopped in because my work was in the area and tried 2 slices. The "regular" slice was solid...nice crust, foldable with a bit of crunch and not doughy. The cheese was well melted and not salty at all (a sure sign is cheap cheese) and the sauce was a deep red and a not too sweet. Very respectable slice. The real story is the "Thanksgiving dinner" slice...Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on a slice. Being the adventurous sort, I have it a try and WOW I'm glad I did! The idea sounds weird but the flavors melded very well! It's a slice the you must have hot! The folks there are friendly and the place looked like warm, welcoming place to stay and eat! A nice, neighborhood kind of place in slightly upscale town. Great slice and nice people...go there!

    Amazing dessert!

Can we reserve a table for every weekend for the next 30 years?! We were two couples and ate enough food for ten! Jess was an amazing server and made our experience phenomenal! The food was out of this world! I only wish I took pictures of all the food we ate. Each dish was incredible - chicken scapriella, eggplant parm, sole francaise, penne vodka, and more!!! It's our new favorite place!!

Seating towards the front. More seating available in the back

We stopped in here to grab a quick bite. There are a few tables at the front of the store if you don't plan on being there long. Otherwise, there is more seating in the back for a sit down type of meal. The pizza was good. I never saw a pesto chicken option on pizza so I decided to go for that. We also got a Margherita slice and a mushroom slice. The pesto chicken slice has a lot of oil on it. I figured it would because pesto has oil in it, but it was dripping onto the plate as I was eating. It didn't taste too oily though. It was pretty good pizza. The only thing that bothered me a little was that we saw one of the staff packing a to go order of pasta with his bare hands and no gloves. I checked before writing this review and another person mentioned that as well. I don't think I'm likely to return just because of sanitary concerns.

Treat yourself to this Manhasset gem. The staff takes great pride in each dish and the results show. Our orders came out promptly and were delicious; too large to finish so they comprised our next day's lunch as well. Ambiance here is blue-color simple, in the most friendly of ways.

Upside down Sicilian slice (sauce on top and cheese under that)

Yummy local family run Italian pizzeria and restaurant in Manhasset. There's two sections for dine in service, one is the pizzaria where you can buy slices and such, the casual/quick bites and the other is the restaurant dining room where slices cannot be bought - instead, you must order a pie. They do make different sizes so there's that if you want smaller vs larger. This was my first time here and the manager was so nice! He checked on us twice just to see how we are doing/liking the food. He was just as friendly when we were leaving. It's nice to be acknowledged! The food: Appetizer: Fried Burrata was delicious! I normally don't prefer the light/thinned out breadcrumb outer layer but the cheese was so good, I did not mind. We were given complimentary bread as well while we waited for the entrees. Entrees: we had the eggplant parmesan with salad, the special of the day: black bass with clams and mussels with a red sauce. Angel hair pasta on the side. (You can choose what pasta you prefer). Sauce was really good on both, slight tartness but still overall sweet. The portions were generous and I really enjoyed the fish. It was a lot of food for one entree. Kiddo ordered a small pie and we snuck an "upside down" Sicilian slice in between the appetizers and entrees. That upside down slice was amazing. Great tomato sauce on top, cheese just below. So it's opposite a regular Sicilian slice. I would totally return just for the pizza! The support staff was not as attentive as our waitress but it all worked out in the end. It would seem the staffers kind of waited for direction by staff not so much the customer.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, and every single person from the host to the bartender to our server and everyone in between played a part in making the night feel special. The attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine kindness did not go unnoticed, and it set the tone for the entire evening. We were first greeted with warm bread and olive oil, which was absolutely delightful and the perfect start. Our server, Paulino (I hope I'm spelling his name right), guided us through the menu with such care and knowledge, which made the experience even better. We started with the mussels Bianco and baked clams both were outstanding, easily a 9/10. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we had the branzino and a pasta dish that was nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail like freshly cracked pepper added right at the table made everything feel elevated and thoughtfully done. To end the night, I mentioned that my mom had just passed her real estate exam and that we were celebrating her. They went above and beyond by bringing out an apple crostini with a candle, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. And yes, we devoured the entire thing. It was that good. Truly a 10000/10 moment. What made this experience even more meaningful is that it came after a long, stressful day at the ER. Walking into such warmth, care, and genuine hospitality meant more than I can put into words. Thank you again for the incredible service, attentiveness, and overall experience. I truly wish I could remember everyone's names because each person we encountered was a pleasure. Please let them know my mom and I are so grateful. Fortunately, we did arrive early, since over the next hour the restaurant filled up, with quite a few people waiting for a table. The restaurant is unpretentious, with seating fairly close together. Now for the food. Before ordering, the owner stopped by, and told us some of the restaurants history, and him being the longtime owner of over 4 decades. He then recited the evenings specials along with interjecting a couple of very funny stories. Each special sounded incredible, and we began our meal with a couple of glasses of a tasty Montepulciano. We shared, one the evening's special appetizers of luscious & creamy zucchini flowers. For entrees my wife ordered one the specials of shrimp stuffed with lump crab meat, in a lobster sauce. She couldn't stop talking about how fantastic it tasted. My only comment was although outstanding, the portion size consisted of 4 shrimp, which was more than enough for my wife, but someone with a bigger appetite may find the order a bit skimpy. For my entree I was drawn to something, which I rarely see on a menu, chicken livers. Although, I thought, for sure, that was what I would choose, the owner in going over the specials cited some of the best menu items, one of which was lasagna. I then told the owner about my dilemma, and I asked him to choose, and the lasagna won out. Although, I missed not having the chicken livers, I consider myself a lasagna aficionado, and, without question, this lasagna moved up to near the top of the list. We ended the meal by having a homemade chocolate layer cake, which was divine. I apologize for not taking any pictures, but I was so excited about the food that my taste buds overrode any thoughts of snapping photos. Finally, definitely run to this restaurant ASAP, but, if possible, I recommend, if possible, to go during the week to avoid the crowds of an obviously very popular restaurant.

It came out piping hot with a considerable amount of steam coming off of it. The only problem was that it continued to steam for the next 10 minutes which is a indicator that it was put into the microwave and excessively nuked. That being said it came off the bone but was incredible chewy and not edible. I had 3 bites of the meal and put to the side. I did not complain because out of respect for my friend who invited me there knows everyone on first name basis so I did not want to potentially "embarrass" him. That being said , any kitchen that is using a microwave to re-warm up food shows a strong lack of skill in the kitchen and disrespect to the customer. I will not be going back.
