Disappointing with staff. Walk in and are ignored. Interjected and they say rudely they are busy. This is after 15 minutes standing their with my grandson in my arms. Had specialty slices- but insisted to keep the doors wide open with temperatures in the 40's. They claim they were hot due to working near the ovens. So customers don't matter.And the outstanding congestion noise was annoying. Last time will be dining there -been patrons for over 2 years. Pizzas are extremely salty. Perhaps customer service is better if they know you. Targeted - it appeared being Senior Citizens- may not be their customer base. Seemed annoyed asking some ice. However, the recent two visits prompted me to write a review because the people here are super nice and deserves your business. On the first night a few weeks ago, we ordered a Caesar salad, but they were out of croutons, which would take a long time to make. Sal and Jes, our friendly wait staff, was smart enough to request a loaf of garlic bread for us to use as a substitute. What a wonderful idea! It ended up being our favorite thing of the evening. The Lasagna al Forno had robust flavors, albeit the pasta was a bit soft. Not a big deal. Linguine alla Vongole was not one of my favorites, but tasty too. The Broiled Orange Roughy had a good sauce, but unfortunately the fish itself was dry. This past week, we stopped by again for lunch. The back room was not lit up, but the owner insisted on us sitting there for more table space since we ordered a bunch. He then proceeds to bring us a complimentary batch of garlic bread and knots. Our slices of regular pizza came next and they were excellent. Eggplant Parm and Chicken Fiorentino were both delicious, while the Lasagna al Forno was even better than the last visit. Just a very satisfying meal all around for a decent price. If you're ever in Manhasset and searching for a family restaurant that will surely be enjoyable, come check out Villa Milano. Self proclaimed pizza snob here...found another "new to me" place in my travels. Stopped in because my work was in the area and tried 2 slices. The "regular" slice was solid...nice crust, foldable with a bit of crunch and not doughy. The cheese was well melted and not salty at all (a sure sign is cheap cheese) and the sauce was a deep red and a not too sweet. Very respectable slice. The real story is the "Thanksgiving dinner" slice...Turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on a slice. Being the adventurous sort, I have it a try and WOW I'm glad I did! The idea sounds weird but the flavors melded very well! It's a slice the you must have hot! The folks there are friendly and the place looked like warm, welcoming place to stay and eat! Living in Boynton Beach, FL it's few or even non-existing to find authentic Italian cuisine. The ambiance was cheerful which tells me they are enjoying the food and the service. The serve was welcoming and seemed to be family owned restaurant they make you feel right at home. I ordered the baked clams and pasta bolognese, the clams have just enough stuffing and the sauce was delectable. The bolognese was seasoned just as expected with just enough meat sauce more than enough for leftovers. I will definitely return, have my eye on more than a few dishes. Fabulous experience on a Wednesday night. Very close to Saint Francis hospital. Our waitress was amazing. She was very helpful and so very sweet. Pretty restaurant. The food was delicious! We stopped in here to grab a quick bite. There are a few tables at the front of the store if you don't plan on being there long. Otherwise, there is more seating in the back for a sit down type of meal. The pizza was good. I never saw a pesto chicken option on pizza so I decided to go for that. We also got a Margherita slice and a mushroom slice. The pesto chicken slice has a lot of oil on it. I figured it would because pesto has oil in it, but it was dripping onto the plate as I was eating. It didn't taste too oily though. It was pretty good pizza. The only thing that bothered me a little was that we saw one of the staff packing a to go order of pasta with his bare hands and no gloves. I checked before writing this review and another person mentioned that as well. I don't think I'm likely to return just because of sanitary concerns. read more

We're in town from Buffalo. We were looking for a place for pizza and ended up here. So glad we did! Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Even tho they didn't have table service for lunch, the guys behind the counter took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. Pizza was thin and crispy, garlic knots n sauce were a great appetizer, and the pasta dishes were savory. Yummy local family run Italian pizzeria and restaurant in Manhasset. There's two sections for dine in service, one is the pizzaria where you can buy slices and such, the casual/quick bites and the other is the restaurant dining room where slices cannot be bought - instead, you must order a pie. They do make different sizes so there's that if you want smaller vs larger. This was my first time here and the manager was so nice! He checked on us twice just to see how we are doing/liking the food. He was just as friendly when we were leaving. It's nice to be acknowledged! The food: Appetizer: Fried Burrata was delicious! I normally don't prefer the light/thinned out breadcrumb outer layer but the cheese was so good, I did not mind. We were given complimentary bread as well while we waited for the entrees. Entrees: we had the eggplant parmesan with salad, the special of the day: black bass with clams and mussels with a red sauce. Angel hair pasta on the side. (You can choose what pasta you prefer). Sauce was really good on both, slight tartness but still overall sweet. The portions were generous and I really enjoyed the fish. It was a lot of food for one entree. Kiddo ordered a small pie and we snuck an "upside down" Sicilian slice in between the appetizers and entrees. That upside down slice was amazing. Great tomato sauce on top, cheese just below. So it's opposite a regular Sicilian slice. I would totally return just for the pizza! The support staff was not as attentive as our waitress but it all worked out in the end. While I want to give a higher rating I just can't find myself to do at the same time. The pasta I ordered - penne alla Milano was amazing. It's chicken, spinach and mushroom sautéed in a brown sauce. The chef in the back put in work. It was great!! If I had ordered to go I might give the extra star however when I walked in I asked an older gentleman for the menu and he directed me to it while asking if I was dining in or taking it to go. Since I had time, I said to stay. This is when it all felt weird. This is a pizzeria .. however, he came back with a glass bottle of water and 2 glass cups .. I appreciate it but no one else had this .. Then after we ordered at the counter. One of the main guys up front who is a larger guy basically ignored us and tried to give no eye contact even when my husband stood at the counter looking at him with no other customers. He greeted and took everyone else's order but ours. Very sus. We got the older gentleman's attention again. But I was very peeved with this other guy to enjoy my time there. Older guy came back to ask what we ordered and he brought us our dishes with a small salad and bread. I was surprised because I was only expecting my order ... I didn't know how to take in everything and did not want to offend the older guy so we wound up leaving a tip at the end of our meal as if we were at a restaurant vs a pizza joint .... Again. One of the most confusing experiences at a pizzeria and that guy at the counter needs to check himself. read more

Front store is your typical pizzeria with pizzeria seating. I tried a regular slice....let's just say Dave Portnoy was on point with the score. The staff is friendly, courteous, and attentive. The menu items all priced lower than I expected. Our meal consisting of two glasses of red, one appetizer, two entrées plus tax & tip was just around $75. Not bad at all. Awesome! We were in town for a wedding and stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday. The owner could tell we weren't from the area and helped us out. The guy knew everyone who walked through the door by name! He walked us through every pizza they had available for slices and how they were served. Upon ordering, he heated the slices up in the oven. The guy is great! Really conversational and funny. He asked us why we were in town, where the wedding was; just a really cool person to talk with. The pizza was excellent. We had a slice of Margherita and a slice of mushroom. Wonderful flavor, texture and the bottom was lightly crisped. At the end of it all, he brought my wife and I out two lemon ices on the house. He then explained where got the ice from and how they make it. Another customer chimed in as well regarding how good they are. This is such a solid local place and the owner knows everyone. If he doesn't know you, he'll go out of his way to make you feel at home. We are so happy we stopped by and will definitely be back when we are in the area. read more

He had a white cheese slice and I had the penne a la vodka. We split fried calamari as an appetizer. My fiancé enjoyed his meal. The calamari was ok, not the best. My penne a la vodka was not good. Villa Milano was featured on the Dave Portnoy's Barstool Pizza Review. He rated them a 7.1/10, which is considered slightly above average on his rating scale. I knew I had to try it for myself. The buffalo chicken and margherita pizza are my favorite so I had to get those, I also got the Sicilian, pepperoni, a few garlic knots and a chicken parm hero. All the food was tasty and reflected some authentic Italian flavor. The pizza was hot, had the perfect amount of cheese & crisp, and the crust was thin & crispy. The garlic knots were also really good. We throughly enjoyed everything. Price is beyond reasonable because you are able to feed an entire family lunch and dinner for under 30 dollars. Cash only. We always come here for delicious pizza and Sicilian slices. A balance of flavor, thickness and crispyness. Perfect crunch! The real sleeper is Linguini with White Clam Sauce. It is so good, took me less than 10 minutes to finish. Must be my new record!! So tasty, not salty at all. Staff are nice and accommodating. We lived in Manhasset since 2004 and mostly came here for pizza on Friday nights and after sports events at Manhasset MS/HS. Finally had a chance to get some dinner here in the rear dining room and realized that I've been missing out on almost 20 years of hearty, home cooked Italian food. Definitely a 4 for the pizza ! The dining area is not open for lunch, but you can order off the menu. We had the fried calamari and it was delicious. The sauce was very tasty and the calamari was very tender and fried perfectly. The bolognese was a nice surprise. Pasta could have been more al dente, but flavor was good. Portion sizes are large. The bread and garlic knots were also great (though for some reason, we didn't get oil or butter so the bread was saved for dipping into sauces).
