Today was a good day to visit Yesterday( the diner that is..). My dear friend Richie is a regular who loves this place and I can see why. The omelettes were great. The toast was hot with the soft melted butter. The fresh fruit side was bursting with flavor and juice. The coffee was hot and fresh and our fun and spunky server Edith kept our cups refilled. The food was out in a few minutes. It is really nice inside with some bright colors( photos) that absolutely livened up our day with the snow falling outside. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Please note that there are just a few parking spots on the diner property but loads of parking on Jericho Tpke and the side street. This was a wonderful 5 star experience. The food and the service was great and so delicious. I ate everything. The waitress was great and friendly.

We wanted a late breakfast after church and decided to give Yesterday's a try and we weren't disappointed. We were pleasantly greeted by both the man at the door who seated us promptly and by the waitress. My two soft scrambled eggs were perfectly done, the hash browns was a very big portion and delicious and my 4 strips of bacon could have been a tiny bit crispier but still good and more importantly not too salty. My brother's corned beef hash was just as good and he was very happy that they still had grits available. Our iced coffee and hot coffee were refilled promptly and we left very satisfied. We usually go to this Diner about once a month. We went a few days ago and were quite disappointed. The total bill for 4 people was almost $140.00 yet when we asked for extra cream cheese we were actually charged another $1.50 which seemed very petty. The service was not very good. It usually is much better. This was a different Wait Person. We had to ask for more coffee and our water glass was never refilled. Don't plan on returning for a while. read more

Your average dinner that's very reasonable. I came here for breakfast and they had everything from omlettes to pancakes to waffles and so on. The serving sizes are decent and the food is very average. This is your very typical long island diner. The service is very quick and attentive. The place itself is quite small and does get busy in the mornings on weekends, so just be aware. read more

Stopped in for a Christmas Day brunch. This is a nice, comfortable diner, with good & friendly service. Upon entering I was immediately shown an empty booth & given a menu. My server quickly appeared, taking my standard diner order, omelet with fries. I added a hot chocolate. My food was served pretty fast. I liked the way everything looked on the plate. The eggs were large, with plenty of hot fries. It all tasted very good. The hot chocolate was definitely hot, hotter than most places serve it nowadays. The only negative was the allegedly buttered toast. I was not given butter to add to the toast. I did see a couple of spots of butter on the toast, but it was mostly dry. More butter could have made this a 5 star review. All in all, a pretty decent experience. I will come here again. read more

Looking for a 24 hour diner this place was an option for me a few times. I do wish the quality of the food was better I do feel as if they give you just whatever at 5am. I've ordered omelettes each time and they were really well done eggs you know the eggs that you have to fork through not soft. They are pretty pricey if you are building your own omelette. Service is ok I did want to get my mother and omelette and turkey bacon to go and she did mention how they did give her a lot of turkey bacon. Came here for a quick bite to eat with my wife on a Wednesday night. They were not very busy since it was early and during the week. We received a warm welcome from our waiter, seated immediately. I order a Cheddar Cheeseburger Deluxe with fries and Onion Rings, a club soda with lemon and my wife ordered a Mushroom burger. Our food came out rather quickly. I've been here a few times over the last few months and have always had a good experience. However, I was here this past weekend and extremely disappointed. I had ordered a pastrami melt but when I got it there was a lot of fat on the meat. I told the waitress that I didn't want it. She asked if I wanted something else so I decided upon a BLT. When the sandwich came, it only had three pieces of bacon on it. I started eating it and then I noticed that the tomato didn't look right. I opened the sandwich to see one of the tomatoes was cut leaving the core piece in it. Picture attached. I ate a piece of that core not knowing it. I feel the tomato was cut that way deliberately because I had returned my first order. So, instead of making their customer happy, they took their contempt out on me instead and then charged me $13 for three pieces of bacon. Great customer service! Used to go every Sunday before Covid and loved the food and people who worked there. Went Sunday morning at 3:00 am. The pastrami was cut so thick, you could not eat it in the sandwich becauseit was hard. We had to take the pastrami out if the sandwich and use a fork and knife to eat it. The waitress realized that something was wrong so we ended up ordering a lamb gyro. The gyro was very greasy. So we ended up not eating it. Yesterday diner is something I'll leave in the past. I will not return! Horrible service. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with avocado deluxe mozz on fries. Server brings me no cheese on fries after she repeated my order. She takes it back and brings it with American cheese after again she repeated the order. Asked for a cup of matzoh ball soup. Here is where the bs comes in not only was order wrong but now up charges me $8 for avocado initially when the charge for avocado on a burger is $4 the cup of soup is $3.95 and you charged me 7.95 and when I complained your manager who has no business being a manager changes it to $5.95 and says a cup of soup is $3.95 but motzah is $2 up charge. So here's the thing no mention on the menu of an up charge no mention from server either he had to change my bill so many times cause of their scamming. If you go here check your bill!!! This is one of those places I would give no stores to if I could. I took a friend there for a late lunch about 2 o'clock. There was maybe only one other occupied table in the place. We both ordered omelettes. Hers was maybe a farmers - vegetables with a tomato sauce poured over it - and home fries. Mine was onion, feta and spinach with a small amount of salad. It was typical diner food. Nothing fancy and basically flavorless. What prompted me to write this review was the bill. Including a 20% tip, the bill came to $40. Decided to try this diner the other day and it was pretty good. I ordered pancakes deluxe (chocolate chip pancake substitution) with home fries ($4.95) on the side. It totaled out to about 21 with tax. The meal came with 2 eggs, sausage, 2 strips of bacon, and ham. I thought the meat and eggs were delicious. The pancakes were good but not the best I ever had. If I am paying about $2 for chocolate chips on my pancake, I want a significant amount of chocolate chips. The size of the pancakes were very big and perfectly rounded (maybe a little too perfect for my liking) but I was very content with the portion of my meal. My friends also ordered breakfast and enjoyed their meal. My friend had toast as one of the main parts of her meal but didn't receive it until after she finished everything. They kept saying "it's coming" but then after asking another time they said they burnt it the first time. Waiters were very friendly and looked so happy to be there which was nice to see. Also if you check in, you get a 10% discount if you spend $15 or more. I would come here again. I enjoyed my food here, but maybe I'd try something different next time. read more

I asked for pepper and egg on a roll. The sandwich was made with 2 eggs and some cut up raw peppers. I was charged $6 for the sandwich plus $2 for the extra egg and $2.00 for the pepper. A glass of ginger ale and the bill came to almost $16.00 plus tip $2.00. No pickle. No Cole slaw. Nothing. $18.00 for a lousy sandwich. Who ever heard of pepper and egg with raw peppers? The worst French onion soup I've ever tried. I'm not referring to freshness or presentation. This thing they served us did not taste anything close to French onion soup. When complaining to the manager we were told nobody has ever complained in 20 years. I find that very hard to believe. He didn't even offer a discount or a replacement. The service was poor.
