This has been my go-to for Chinese food for many years. For the last year or so I've only done take-out but I decided to go there yesterday because I was craving the egg drop soup and the side of noodles you get when you dine in at lunch. Right off the bat we noticed that it was extremely hot in the restaurant. I don't know if the A/C wasn't working but it must have been at least 80 degrees in there. Put it this way -- it was 83 degrees outside and felt a great deal cooler than in the restaurant. I looked at the ceiling to see if the A/C and fans were on and immediately noticed an entire ceiling tile covered in black mold. We should have just left right then but I didn't want to find another place for lunch. In the middle of eating my soup I had to take a napkin and kill a small bug crawling across the table. Unappetizing, to say the least. Our entrees were delivered fairly quickly but the noodles I had been craving were bland and almost flavorless, and the combination kung pao had very little spice to it. The soundtrack to all of this was a child around 8 years old who was sitting with one of the employees in a booth on the other side of the half wall from our booth. He yelled and made loud noise the entire 45 minutes we were in there and no one bothered to tell him to stop. We were beyond disappointed and agreed that we will have to find a new Chinese restaurant. Even though recent take-out from Ying Café has been good, I won't order from a place with bugs and mold in the air. read more

We like this place. The food is good and we consistently get good service. We usually go at lunch time for the lunch special. I like the egg drop soup and triple delight. Nothing tastes old or greasy. We both get steamed rice so no comment on the fried rice. But the rice noodles are very good. read more

We're 'just down the street' from them, and their delivery is usually less than the 20 minutes they give you on the phone. It's an unassuming place, tucked into a strip shopping center with a gas station in front. Their portions, even on delivery, are way generous. We usually order the dinner specials which gives you everything but the soup. Which is ok, because we're not soup fans (unless we're really sick) My go to is the chicken fried rice, or the combo sweet and sour. The broccoli beef is good, and my husband usually gets the sesame chicken. The Pu-Pu platter for 2 is really for 2 people with serious appetites! We ordered two once and we ate for days! We have never had a bad meal from Yings. Seriously. It's great for when you crave "Americanized" Chinese food. The best thing is that they don't have a buffet, because the place is small. read more

They make absolutely killer General Tso's. Amazing steamed dumping also. Dinner special with Tso's, fried rice and egroll...good food

Stay away from the chicken dishes and the fried rice. I'm not sure about the beef or pork, and I won't be back to try it. The people are friendly, but the food wasn't very good. read more

Stay away from here. I like the free delivery because I have a 7 month old baby and don't like going out much, especially when the sun is out. But I had order 2 plates, teriyaki chicken and pepper steak. First, the teriyaki chicken.. there's no "teriyaki" flavor to it.. it's pretty dry and not enough meat... they just threw in a bunch of broccoli to make it look full but if you put the chicken pieces together, it would equal up to a chicken thigh.. ridiculous.. and the pepper steak... i had only no more than 6 pieces of beef!!! and they were not big pieces.. again there was too much veggies.. tooooooooo much onions and bell pepper but the onion flavor is overwhelming. Orange Chicken is "Excellent". Very large servings. I had enough to have for lunch the next day. Lunch plate includes meat, rice, noodles, eggroll and crispy wonton with cheese filling and soup. Wonton soup cost extra on the lunch but I loved the veggies in it. Everything served hot. Restaurant is clean and bright. I work at an Independent Living Retirement Community and my "Red Hatters" love the food. read more

Mediocre at best. Old, dried chicken. Not a lot of flavor. Didn't finish meal and threw away leftovers. Likely won't go back.

food is good but pricey at times. especially now that they charge a 3 dollar delivery fee. i do find that decision to be stupid considering that alot of other delivery options in the area offer free delivery. even the much better hunan wok. will be useing the place alot less now. read more

My favorite delivery in this area. Always prompt and friendly and so far they have never got it wrong. The MuShu chicken is my favorite.

Now that my family and I have ordered delivery twice in the past few weeks, I feel it is safe to leave a review. Since moving to the area in 2010, I have had yet to find a decent chinese food delivery place in the area, until Ying Cafe. So far, the food has been consistent and fresh. While I am not crazy about the crab rangoons, my husband and daughter are fans, so I will leave that up to personal preference. We DO agree that the Sesame Beef, Orange Chicken, Steamed Dumplings, Fried Rice, and Steamed White Rice have all been very good! Since I technically live n FW, I didn't think they would deliver to our area, and I never even tried. Bad decision, because I found they DO deliver to my area and we now have our chinese food take out/delivery place. read more

I ordered the Happy Family meal and what a delightful tasting meal was served. The soup, crispy egg rolls, and main course were a delight. After standing right in front of 3 people discussing all the problems of the restaurant for over 10 minutes, a girl finally asked if she could help me. Very rude people working today. Im sorry to do this, but Ying Cafe has the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life!! I dont know if this is because I got delivery or not, maybe eating inside is better? The food had absolutely no flavor, and what flavor it did have was disgusting! I was tempted to call back and try to get a refund, but decided to chalk it up to experience, lose the money and trash the food. I even took some of the fried rice in to work and tried to give it to a co-worker. He took one bite, spit it out, and looked at me like I was trying to poison him! I see now why the prices were as cheap as they were. My business will stay with Gold In from now on. read more

I was a little worried seeing the recent reviews but since it was close I came to check it out anyway. It's small business and when I came in they were working on the snow peas. They asked me to sit on the other side which I guess they prefer to serve people. The servers were nice and I like the fact that there aren't designated servers because I can anyone a question or for more napkins. Their hot and sour soup was delicious but the egg roll small. The twice cook pork is delicious and I was told that I was lucky to come in the day after they made it so it was fresh. I think the best time get anything here is to dine in during lunch because the rice noodles were fantastic. My wife and I used to eat here once a week and the food was consistently great. They got a new waiter a few months ago and he's got a really bad attitude. We placed our usual order which is Kung Pao Beef and Orange Chicken. When the food was brough out, the Kung Pao Beef had shrinp and celery in it and was missing alot of the veggies that were supposed to be in it. We pointer this out to the waiter who then argued with us that the order was right. He brought us a menu and I showed him how wrong he was. He had brought out Kung Pao Combination instead of what we ordered, which was Kung Pao Beef. He took the plate back to the kitchen and brought us what we thought was a new plate. My wife noticed that this plate also had alot of celery in it. It was supposed to have none. That's when we realized he took our plate in the back and picked the shrimp out of it. My wife told him to take that meal off of the ticket. He argued about it and I assume his boss in the kitchen started yelling about it.. They finally removed that meal from the ticket and we left. We decided to give them a second chance tonight. Big mistake on our part. We ordered our usual and the waiter again brought out the wrong order. We pointed this out and he started arguing with us that he brought us what we ordered. That's when we realized that it was the same idiot as before but with a hair-cut. We will not be back and I will be telling everyone I know not to go there. He's lucky he didn't lose a few teeth for his troubles. read more
