We arrived early afternoon after visiting the Grand Canyon. We were greeted with a smile and cold drinks. The appetizers were great. The decor is interesting.

    The restaurant.

Chicken wings were burnt and overcooked. Steak was low quality and absolutely overpriced. Won't be back.

This is the worst restaurant I've been in the US. Terrible customer service, horrible food and questionable cleaning.

It was not my idea to come here my sweet niece was the one who wanted steak and well who am I to tell her no?! We walked into the steakhouse side only to stand there another couple walked in and we were all quickly ushered out by a host, to go sit in the bar area... the host then tried to seat the couple who came in after first which wouldn't have been a huge deal if I didn't have a kid who was starving. Thankfully the other party told him we had been waiting. We were sat at a high top in the bar, and waited.. the bar tender came around and let us know she'd be our waitress, the main waitress was very busy. There was also a man who worked there that kept walking by looking at us. Not sure if we weren't fancy enough or he thought we were going to eat and run or what.. to be fair we were in jeans and a sweatshirt and had just come from the canyon.. I will say the reason we stayed (besides being hungry) was our waitress. She made us feel welcome, and despite being busy checked in regularly. I asked about the filet she said it was truly really good... and my niece got the steak tips. We both enjoyed the dinner... the filet was tender, cooked to a perfect medium... could have used a little more seasoning but still good. The baked potatoes had everything to stuff it with on the side... and the asparagus was delicious and cooked perfectly. Do I think it was 56 good mehhhh but it was still tasty. I had to taste the steak bites and that was delicious too! Fries however were over cooked. Like I said, the bar tender/ waitress came back and checked on us several times - she was great which is why this is a 4 star review not a 3 star. Her kindness is why I am overlooking the other issues we had.

You get what you pay for, some people have expectations that are goofy if they have to pull out an extra $20. Had the muscles and the Santa Fe Cesar was delicious and couldn't miss on the ribeye! Perfectly medium rare. Well worth coming in for. After a long day of hiking in the canyon.

And new steakhouses are stepping up to take their place, serving more exquisite cuts, rare breeds, and widely utilizing dry-aging, a process that concentrates all of those meaty flavors. While steak might be king, modern steak houses offer a wide range of delectable options. Think fresh seafood, inventive appetizers like bacon-wrapped scallops, and classic sides like creamed spinach and loaded baked potatoes. Let's not forget sinful sweet desserts to finish the meal, satisfying any sweet tooth. Located directly on the south rim of the Grand Canyon, this establishment is the best of Arizona. On our first dinner, we decided on Arizona Steakhouse. The reservation was easily made via Tock. Upon arrival, my partner and I were greeted by the host, who immediately led us to our high-top table with those stunning canyon views from the windows. We decided on 6oz Beef Tenderloin accompanied by hatch Mac & cheese with asparagus as well as 6oz Skirt Steak  with asparagus and coconut black rice. We even saved room for dessert to share the Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream. Complimentary warm crusty bread accompanied by prickly pear butter began our meal. Our meal came out delightfully seasoned using the freshest ingredients cooked to our taste. The apple crisp dessert was overflowing, coated in nice sugar and cinnamon, with melting ice cream on top that was clearly prepared moments before it was brought to us. Kristofer was an excellent friendly server with knowledge of everything on the menu and answered every question well. Prices are a little high, but one would expect them to be considering the location. It's not just about the steak; it's about the whole package.
