How is it I'm the 2nd reviewer? Anyway. I love Yoberri. I'm pretty much addicted now. Natural frozen yogurt with fresh fruit? I am so there! The froyo is delicious. I love that I can get plain (which they explained to me is literally yogurt that's frozen) with fresh raspberries. They also offer vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry (I've had all flavors-what can I say, I'm a froyo junkie) with a huge amount of toppings. For me, those 4 flavors are plenty. When I'm feeling like being good, I have the plain yogurt with raspberries, and when I'm feeling like being slightly bad, I get chocolate with crushed andies mints (I find chocolate w/fresh raspberries to be delicious also). I'm definitely going to have to be careful with this place, or I'll balloon up! read more

This place is very close to the Lincoln Park Zoo. I was super thirsty so I thought I would try this place. The place is very cute and simple but also limited in seating. I asked for a strawberry banana smoothie, which was pretty good. It is a local place and I was happy to support it. However, this place isn't unique to me, so I don't think I would drive out of my way to visit here again. If I am in the area, I will come again. read more

Stumbled on YoBerri while at the Daley Plaza farmers market on a Thursday afternoon and we couldn't not stop at the tent. There were so many delicious flavors but my work bestie and I decided to get the Sea Salted Caramel ice cream. We could have described it as many things but she called it a mix between Jesus and Fergie in her mouth. I concur. Sprinkles are free...because sprinkles make you smile. Amazing. read more

I have not been to this location but writing this review based on my experience at the booth located at Lollapalooza. The booth had very limited options, appropriate for a music festival. The staff was very friendly and passionate about their products. Those guys deserve a big thumbs up. I had the salted caramel ice cream cup. It was very good and not over powering. My friend tried a vegan friendly lime fruit bar. WOAH was it amazing! It tasted so fresh and was such a refreshing treat for the heat of summer. If I ever come back to Chicago, I'd love to go back and try more. read more

I almost prefer this place over Red Mango...difficult for me to believe! Clark got the brownie and peanut butter mix-ins while I opted for the brownie and sea salt caramel. Good thing he got a large...I much preferred the PB taste that day. The pictures of their items are deceiving (as any food glamor shot is), and this time it got the best of my hungry stomach. The caramel just looked so good! They make their mix-ins using the same machine as McDonald's uses for their McFlurrys, and you still get the same strange spoon to use. read more

This place is half a block away. This place throws fruits and chocolates into a frozen yogurt cup and blends it all together. What more really needs to be said? I know it isn't the cheapest place in town, but as an occasional temptation, it's not too bad. Plus it's open late most nights, which means if the urge hits, at say 945pm, yogurt is on! read more

A Pinkberry knockoff that isn't any good. If you're going to imitate Pinkberry, put some effort into getting it right! I was pretty sure this wasn't going to be any good, but just on principle, I paid my four bucks for an original with raspberries. I could only stomach a third of it. Jut had their plain tart yogurt and it was Fabulous.. In town for a week from the San Francisco Bay Area and plan on coming by at least once a day... If not twice. I love some fro-yo on a hot day. Who am I kidding? I even love fro-yo on a cold day. I've been to Yoberri a ton of times, I live just down the street and it's my go-to fro-yo joint. (I've only had fro-yo at a couple other places though.) I think it tastes yummy and I love that it's non-fat (if you can stay away from the candy toppings). Although I wish for the price of the fro-yo here, that there would be some nicer & higher end toppings available. I was sorta bummed when I saw that their caramel and chocolate sauces were really just some store bought sauces (smuckers brand, i think?) that are no doubt loaded with HFCS. The fro-yo is great and worth the higher price- I just wish the toppings would match the quality of the fro-yo and the prices on the menu. I'll keep coming to yo-berri, but just for their awesome fro-yo (with out toppings.) read more

By FAR my favorite ice cream/frozen yogurt in the city. The ingredients are all fresh and local (the mint is sourced from a local hydroponic farm). The mint chocolate chip ice cream is unbelievably delicious. We recently had the orange and blueberry lavender frozen yogurt that were so fresh and delicious! Try it with mix-ins for sure. Can't believe the frozen yogurt is non-fat, will definitely be coming back for more!! read more

I literally downloaded yelp to leave this review. Walked in 10 minutes before close to get a milkshake. The girl behind the counter was so rude slamming doors and was visibly angry that people were there close to closing. I would understand if I had shown up at closing, but like I said I was 10 minutes before closing and was taking my drink to go. The milkshake was pretty much only milk with zero ice cream or anything that would make it different from a chocolate milk. For the price I would expect it to at least be a milkshake. I could give the girl the benefit of the doubt for having a bad day but with the food being so poor I don't think I will ever be returning. She not only was rude but ran out the door after us slamming the door and chalkboard to close up. I understand the annoyance of customers coming in near close but at least act like you aren't pissed. What an operational mess. Don't get me wrong, I really like the frozen yogurt at Yoberri, it is really tasty, despite how unbelievably expensive it is for a tiny cup of froyo. (6-7 dollars for a small with 3 tiny toppings) BUT, the whole operation is a scam. The manager is rude, and tried to scam me and my boyfriend today, even though we have been loyal customers since we live upstairs from Yoberri. He personally gave us a loyalty card (buy ten get one free), and on our tenth one he wouldn't give us the discount, and said the card was only valid if we were getting a small with no toppings and was unbelievably rude in his demeanor. When I told him he just lost two customers because of his rudeness, he was like "whatever, bye" and making unprofessional remarks. We were willing to purchase frozen yogurt here despite the RIDICULOUSLY STEEP prices. 7 dollars for a froyo with 3 toppings, talk about elitism. SHAME ON YOU, owners of Yoberri. I will not set foot in this establishment and I will demand my money back. read more

Was walking on Clark with the family when we spotted a company/payroll check from Yoberri. After walking a block, we noticed the yogurt place and my son walked in and handed the check over. She asked him if he wanted anything from there, so he said sure. Then she charged him $6 for the yogurt. Really? He thought he was doing a good deed and she was offering him a complimentary yogurt. Mehhh. The yogurt is tasty but you will get ripped off. They fill the cup with the yogurt around the edges and then close the hole at the top of the cup so that you actually have an igloo of yogurt with a hollow inside - not what you're paying for. Go instead to the self serve froyo spot on Chicago near the Chik fil A, where they appreciate their customer and being that it's self serve - you won't rip yourself off. read more

Yoberri, the most organic locally sourced frozen yogurt spot in the area. Their selections are excellent and the staff are wonderful. I have been given the privilege of knowing these people and they are extremely nice. Yoberri is always fun, the music is light and airy. The windows provide for great natural lighting. And the windows are placed in the perfect spot for watching the Clark traffic rush by. I would recommend this place in an instant. I always get either the Small Mix'n with Raspberry Compote and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Other times I will get the Cookies and Cream shake. On a nice hot day Yoberri is perfect for those. I get a lemonade with no ice for more lemonade or the complementary water. Everything is homemade and fresh and only crowded when school lets out. In conclusion I would always go here for a quick froyo snack and experience the great staff, environment and ice cream! read more

The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the price is a LOT. I've gone here a few times and I really enjoy the blueberry-lavender, the cardamom-lime, and vanilla soft serve froyos. The first two are very fresh tasting and delicious. They tell you where they source their ingredients from and it's nice to see local stuff :). The vanilla is my favorite because I rarely experience vanilla frozen yogurt that tastes so authentically like vanilla ice cream, and this one is great. My only complaint is that when I ask for toppings -- eg rainbow sprinkles, they spoon it on, the sprinkles fall off, and I end up paying an extra 75 cents for very little topping, which is irritating. Same deal with the other toppings -- they don't give you a lot, and they charge you for a lot. The ice cream itself is also really expensive. $5 and upwards for a cone. read more

I love, love love frozen yogurt. When it comes in chocolate, it's a party. Put your sparkly shoes on because this place will make you want to dance. I never deviate from my chocolate yogurt with gummie bears, strawberries and blueberries. Every single bite is pure heaven. The people are always nice and serve you right away. This place is a ripoff in more ways than one. You pay for each individual topping (after your first two) and the frozen yogurt is not even that great. Also, when I handed the cashier my money, she just kind of stared at it. She then proceeded to hand me the incorrect amount of change (she shorted me $3). When she saw me look puzzled as I counted my change, she scurried to the back. I didn't think it was worth it to wait until she reemerged so I just let her keep the $3. We tried this last night, and it was pretty good! I got twist of strawberry and plain with blueberries on top. It was very refreshing. All of the cut up fruit looked very fresh, and my blueberries were nice and sweet. Although it was kind of pricey ($8+ for two smalls with toppings), I look forward to going back. I was saddened to see my beloved Treats leave this location, but it has been replaced with an excellent frozen yogurt place. Yoberri doesn't have the exciting flavors of others, but the option of plain yogurt is not only healthy but actually quite good. I really fell in love with Berry Chill this summer, but since the closing of their State street location, had to venture here after lunch at R.J. Grunts. The yogurt itself is pretty good. Especially the vanilla. The plain is much tarter than I am used to. My only complaint here is the toppings. The berries are drenched in syrup and don't seem fresh at all. The toffee topping was stale and bland to me. If you want the yogurt itself, I would suggest that and skip toppings, they just don't measure up tp Berry Chill. read more
