I was proud of myself and asked the sweet lady behind the counter if she saw my vision. She chuckled and said, "I see it!" Much to my chagrin, when the tomato soup came, it was accompanied by a huge piece of fresh bread that turned out to be MUCH better to dip in the soup than my bagel. I wish she would have told me it came with bread as I wouldn't have ordered the bagel... had me lookin like a FOOL... all love though. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened here :( Instead of tasting like a balanced espresso drink, it was mostly almond milk with just a faint espresso flavor (and not a particularly great one). I hoped that for $8 that my drink would taste a lot better. Unfortunately I barely drank it. My friend did say that her cold brew was pretty good! So maybe just don't order the iced cappuccino unless you don't mind drinking iced milk :)

Unfortunately, my recent experience was so frustrating that I will never order from them again. If you call, nobody answers. If you leave a message, nobody calls back. I finally drove there in person to place an order at the counter, which I had done many times before. Instead, I was told all cake orders must be placed online because they are handled by a different department. It felt more like dealing with a bureaucracy than a bakery. I asked the employee how long it would take to get a non-custom cake and was told 48 hours. It was Friday morning, so I went home and ordered one of their signature cakes online. To my surprise, the first available pickup date was four days later. The cake is good, but not good enough to justify jumping through this many hoops. The entire process felt like ordering something during the height of COVID restrictions. After years of being a customer, this experience convinced me not to come back. They didn't just lose a sale--they lost a longtime customer.
