I like the dark meat chicken they use for their teriyaki bowls. Although more expensive than other teriyaki competitors, I feel this place is worth it. It's never really too crowded. I eat in most times. It's so I can get my drink refills. However, the last time we came, the soda machine was out of ice. Womp womp. They still sell bottled sodas, so it wasn't a total loss. There's also a Jersey Mike's two doors down that salvaged my last visit with icy drinks. The cashiers are nice & friendly. Like many said before, though, be prepared to wait. This place is hit or miss as far as the taste/quality of the chicken teriyaki with rice bowls. I always order the same dish which is a large teriyaki bowl with white rice, extra chicken (because there's way more rice than chicken), sub white meat chicken (no dark), with spicy sauce. This is a $20 bowl. If I add veggies it's an extra $4 and a drink is another $3 - 4. Also worth mentioning, don't sign up for email list expecting any coupons for anything. I have received zero in 2 years so they're just collecting your email to sell to data brokers. Service is alright.. I order for pick up and it usually takes like 15 mins. I got trapped. Decided to go to yogis Grill because Uber eats had a buy one get one special. Was hoping for lunch today and a bonus lunch tomorrow. Rude employees, with ZERO customer service skills, who barely speak English and couldn't be bothered to do their basic jobs. The veggies in my bowl were ROTTEN. Looked and tasted disgusting. It was all cabbage with 2 zucchini pieces and 1 piece of broccoli. I called to complain and the guy couldn't understand me. He asked me to repeat myself 6 times. Then put me on hold without saying anything. Came back, said he spoke to the kitchen and that they boil the veggies. I didn't ask how the veggies were cooked. I'm telling you they are rotten and you need to stop serving people rotten food. So he asked if I wanted them to remake me the food and I said no I don't want more rotten food. Like WHAT??!! This was the worst experience I've ever had at this this location. 1st of all the employee had an attitude when I asked for a (1) Teriyaki packet. We order from here all the time. I always get the same thing, large teriyaki chicken with all veggies and it's always consistently good.

Usually I go to the Yogis on Camelback but this was closer to work and I decided to go for it. I was a bit scared because of the number of people already inside and reading the reviews but I was worried about nothing. Ordered a chicken & teriyaki bowl, chicken udon, and a full crunch roll. My food was fresh and ready in a decent amount of time. I didn't have a problem at all. The only complaints I would have is that they don't have the little Blue Bunny ice cream unlike the other location and the dining space feels a bit small and crowded. I would have taken a picture but I ate everything! Lol read more

We ordered the yakisoba bowl, the noodles and rice were decent but the protein (chicken and beef) tasted like it was cooked in a microwave and was drenched in sauce. If you like overpriced, bad food, this is the place for you. Their website states that they serve healthy Japanese / pan Asian food. After trying a couple of things on their menu, I can only conclude that it is healthy because it's not possible to eat the food. I ordered Katsu chicken, with two up-charges: half serving of vegetables and extra crispies. The vegetables consisted of two small broccoli florets and a 1 inch square piece of steamed cabbage (these were actually the best part of the meal). The extra crispies were about 2 teaspoons of uncooked panko breadcrumbs sprinkled on top. Do you know what happens to tiny shards of dried bread when you put them on top of something hot and then put a lid on it? They turn into tiny little blobs of paste. But even the glue globules couldn't help the Hershey bar colored katsu chicken. Katsu is normally a lightly coated fawn colored piece of heaven. This was the size of a deck of cards and charred beyond recognition. All that said, the katsu was better than the noodles, which were so heavily seasoned with fish sauce that when I opened the container I felt as though I had been transported to an episode of the deadliest catch. Needless to say, the noodles went straight into the bin, and my $24 meal was less than satisfying. Definitely not going to dance with this partner again. read more

Very disappointed and upset with my experience at the location on 19th Ave and Bethany Home. I placed my pickup order through the website. When I got there the young man at the counter "Andrew" couldn't locate my order. I proceeded to show him I received a confirmation text and that the text provided a link to view my order. He then told me that I needed to show him an email with the order. I didn't have an email because I ordered on their website. I told him the text came from DoorDash. He then told me they never got my order. I told him I've already paid and tried to show him the order again. He them accused me of creating something on my phone to look like an order just to get free food. I was like are you serious... He vented that someone did that last week and he gave them food but he later found out it was fake. I told him, I had nothing to do with his experience last week and told him I have already paid for my order. He refused to listen or even look into the text I received with the link to view my order. He proceeded to insult me and said if I want a free meal to go to the homeless shelter down the street. I told him I'm not looking for a free meal but rather the meal I paid $35 for. He then told me to leave or he would call the police. I told him to call the police. He instead phoned his boss,, David who eventually found my order. Andrew then handed me my food and walked away. Didnt apologize for anything he said. The whole experience made me lose my appetite. Worst customer service ever!!! read more

I ordered a Chicken Katsu Bowl. I literally only had two bites (one of the chicken and one of the rice) and knew that I did not like it. I asked for a different bowl and a refund and both times an employee informed me that the manager refused. Eventually I asked to speak to the manager and he was very insistent on not allowing me to get a different bowl for the same price and did not want to issue a refund. At some point, policy should be overlooked for customer satisfaction or initially created with customer service in mind. After going back and forth, all he would do was give me the same bowl remade which does not solve the issue of me not being satisfied with the dish.
