I really enjoyed coming to this place. Yogo Delight is located in a small strip mall off of Old Seward Highway and 40th Ave. just outside the University Center Mall. The seating area is spacious yet cozy with a good amount of tables and chairs as well as a sofa set up in one corner by the overhead TV. A friendly lady behind the counter who I believe is one of the owners, gave me a warm greeting. I was looking for a new place to study for a couple of hours and she encouraged me to stay for awhile and even showed me where the available outlets were. The Wi-Fi here has a secure connection with a password and fast service with no issues of loading times. I decided to try one of their Boba Teas and ordered the Mocha flavor in a 24oz. The lady was very fast in preparing the drink and I only had to wait for a few short minutes before it was ready. The drink was delicious and refreshing with a good amount of boba or "tapioca pearls" on the bottom although this always reminded me of candy like gummy bears. Other flavors for their Boba or Milk Teas include Matcha Green, Honeydew, Taro, Rose, Peach, Thai Tea, Strawberry or Mango. They also have a wide variety of items like Snow Fluff (Shaved Ice), Smoothies, Sandwiches, Soups, and Asian dishes. Some items that caught my attention are the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl, Caprese Ciabatta Sandwich, Baked Potatoes (choice of sour cream, cheddar, mozzarella, cottage cheese, bacon, chicken, spinach, mushrooms, broccoli or jalapenos), Smoothies (choice of mango, lychee, red bean, avocado, mixed berry, banana, or pineapple), "Cup-Bop" (choice of General Joe, teriyaki chicken or beef), and several flavors of Shaved Ice (Alaskan Snow, Nutty Taro, Choco Loco, Green Tea Grace, or Coffee in the Dark). This is a great place to stop by and do some work or studying. I was very grateful and pleased when the lady told me to relax and stay as long as I'd like without feeling pressured to leave. This is the best bubble drink place in Anchorage. Coming from Hawaii I tried some pretty bad bubble drink places around town, but this place is awesome! The people that run it are so very nice and my bubble drinks are always perfect! My favorite is jasmine milk tea with double boba. My kids favorite is Honeydew smoothie style with boba. read more

I went there for the first time a couple of days ago. I had a fruit smoothie it was very good. I ordered a bubble waffle so we could try it. It seems good but I was really too full from the fruit smoothie to enjoy it. My six-year-old companion had frozen yogurt and seem to enjoy it. There were certainly a lot of toppings to choose.. the lady working there was extremely friendly. The board games available were a nice touch too. I was real interested in trying the milk tea or bubble tea since I had never tried them before but reading the descriptions it seems as if they would be way too sweet for me. Yea this place is great and close to home. They are smaller than most in town but offer a nice amount of toppings and flavors. They didn't have coffee flavor but they do offer one that gets a shot of espresso on top! WOWZA talk about a kick in the pants! Came here a while ago with a couple of friends and had a great experience. The ladies there were super friendly and the place felt very welcoming. They have frozen yogurt as well as other food options (including Korean food YUM) which were phenomenal! 2.75 It's strange how there isn't actual standard "milk tea", just beverages with the option to add boba. What the eff, man. Egg/bubble waffles were on the soggy side and not the crispy, airy, golden ones I'm used to. Either griddle might be inconsistent with heat distribution, batter was over mixed, or maybe because they just turned on the griddle. You can see from the photo that it's partially golden, but the rest is too soft from what is typical. Drinks were average, gravitating towards the sweeter side, as is typical from powdered mixes. It's too bad they don't have actual milk tea, or smaller appetizers like Taiwanese fried chicken or calamari, instead of sandwiches, as we'd see in places similar lower-48 locations, like Quickly or TeaWay. Personally, I feel like it's an odd pairing to have deli sandwiches with these types of drinks (a little over the top/unbalanced, I'd expect to see more asian-esque appetizer type offerings. It's be like seeing Thai Iced Tea and Ludefisk on the same menu, naw I'm sayin?) but it's just not what I'm used to, and again it is personal thing. It probably makes sense for this location since UAA students would be driving by daily. Affogato was pretty good. Don't think I'll come back for the beverages, though. read more

I absolutely love this place! I've been a loyal customer since it opened. Yogo delight is by far the cheapest frozen yogurt in town, with froyo at 50! cents an ounce. There are 8 different flavors at any given time (they rotate) and the ones right now are: chocolate, sugar free raspberry, pistachio, watermelon, tart, vanilla, sugar free vanilla, and coffee. Cake batter occasionally makes an appearance. The toppings are excellent! Besides popping boba, there are jellies, candy (toffee, gummy bears, m&ms, Reese's cups, just to name a few), granola, almonds, mochi, brownie bites, cheesecake bites and fresh fruit. There are also caramel, chocolate, and white chocolate syrups and whipped cream. :-) The drinks are amazing too! They have red bull ($3), calypso ($2.50), and monster ($3) as well as milk tea with boba (blended or regular) and fruit smoothies. The smoothies have fresh fruit in them, and you can choose 2 fruits per smoothie. :) there are also add-ins for $1 such as jellies, flax seed, bee pollen, and protein. Right now a small (16oz) smoothie is $4.95 and large is $5.50. A milk tea (with boba) is $4.75 (16oz) and $5.25 (24 oz). There are also really good homemade cinnamon rolls ($2.95) and brownies ($1.95) You can also get a punch card, where your 11th stamp is a free smoothie/milk tea or 10 oz of free froyo. This place was great! I came here at the suggestion of a friend, and tried the Mango Madness Snow Fluff and a Black Boba Milk Tea. The Snow Fluff was delicious and the serving size was HUGE; more than enough for two people. The tea was really good and refreshing. You know...it's been a very long time since I've had good tteokbokki. This place had some of them most genuine tasting tteokbokki I've ever had and Ive been searching for years now in different parts of the US and I've been let down every time. Most places have watered down sauce, but here it's thicker and richer with plenty of fish cakes. Not only that but the amount of gimbap you get for the price is incredible. First timers to this spot. Came here to try their taro boba tea (seemed pretty popular.) It's not what I was expecting it to taste like and turned out it's delicious! It's sweet but not too sweet and the boba is chewy and not tough (trust me I've had horrible boba pearls before.) As for the actual store front, it's a cute little hole in the wall. They serve all kinds of tea's and smoothies as well as frozen yogurt (think yogurtland.) They have plenty of seating in there and tons of board games,which I think makes this place fun & helps people interact more with each other. I only rate this a 1 star because I have been here many times and although the service is really slow and there is always a wait, the lady, which I want to say is the owner, here was still nice. Where ever I go I usually take all my 7 children, if not all then at least half will go with me. This time I had more than half my children with me. There was no one ahead of me on this day. My told my children age 9 and 12 to get their own ice cream which they normally do at other self serve ice shops here in anchorage. My 5 year old was assisted by his 15 yr old sister. The lady kept saying something which I didn't understand. Like she just expects me to understand what she was saying and yes she has an accent. I asked her about 3 times so I can better understand her. At the end, We just ended up putting the toppings on the ice cream ourselves instead of having my older kiddos do it. I also ordered 2 drinks. 1 blended and 1 iced with boba. By now there was a couple behind us. The lady at the counter proceed to get their order and ended up making theirs first! That got me mad. Why should we wait longer just because we have a larger order? And if she made 2 iced drink with boba in a split second for this couple, how come she didn't make that exact drink for me instead because I ordered it too and I ordered first!? I spend at least $60-$70 and sometimes more every time we come here because she has food here and we are big fans of korean food.
