There was at least 20 people there when we left. Service by Taryn was outstanding. She was friendly and attentive to us and all patrons. She stayed focused and patient through all the orders and everyone wanted something different, not just simple single scoop kind of desserts. I'm not sure why there would be only one employee on the weekends in the summer months, as it would have been more ideal for her to have help... I also would have liked the option to leave a tip on my card, but thankfully we had a little bit of cash to put in the tip jar. The ice cream parlor itself had lovely old school wall art, cute dessert themed decor, and many places to sit throughout. Great selection of flavors, sizes, cones, and toppings. The Barn at Hickory Station is a great addition to the community, offering a family-friendly environment where kids can run free in a large grassy area.
