My daughter was excited more about it coz at school she was on a certain color for the day. Since she was on Pink, she gets a small treat, like ice cream. My son, he just loves ice cream and froyo. Yogurtland sent me $5 for my birthday, so I came here as fast as I could. When you arrive, they ask you to use hand sanitizer and put on a glove. You dispense your own yogurt in the cup they give you. Then you come over to the counter and tell them which toppings you want and they do it for you. I actually had them weigh it a few times so I could maximize my reward, which came to $5.07. Everything was so delicious and fun to eat. I love it here. You will too. read more

Even though I live walking distance from this store I no longer go here because they will no longer allow you to self serve your yogurt and the kids that work there get annoyed when you want to put layers of toppings and yogurt all i just go to the Buena Park location that still allows self serve. read more

I came in for frozen yogurt on 12/7/21 @ 6:30 Coming here is Typically simple, they give you a cup, you serve yourself, they add toppings and you're out the door. When the worker handed me my cup, I notice she comes out the back with red Cheeto dust on her fingers, and no mask. When she comes back out to serve my toppings, i notice still she has Cheeto dust and is now hiccuping all over the toppings, I know that's out of her control but at the least wear the mask if you're gonna be hiccuping all over my Cheeto print covered yogurt cup. If a manager reads this, plz buy ur workers some gloves, uniforms and get me my money back or something, I didn't wanna cause a scene for the worker but I'm definitely not eating this. read more

A staff member pulled out strawberries from the water dispenser with her bare hands, so I must remember not to drink from that anymore. Before I visited I finally remembered to look up streptococcus thermophilus, lactobacillus acidophilus, and lactobacillus bulgaricus to find out if they occur naturally in the body or probiotic [yes]. Blood orange tart seemed to taste different here but I couldn't guess at the specific problem. Green apple tart tasted like bubble gum at first. I had mango (made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup) and peach tart with graham cracker crumbs. I just noticed that there are three levers so you can get swirls with the middle one. I usually intend to get mostly fruit toppings with condensed milk but I have a few tart rainbow sherbert-looking froyo layers instead. I'd like the small cups to be less than 16 oz because I always end up getting more than I can finish even if it doesn't touch the rim. Plain tart was a little lumpy. I wish it tasted a little more like non-icy Greek yogurt. Music too loud to understand what the person next to me is saying. The workers verbally greeted us without eye contact. read more

This is our usual go-to Yogurtland location. It's located in a smaller strip mall right on the edge of Little India. Since all of the units in this complex aren't occupied, parking has never been a problem. It can get crowded on weekends and hot days, so be prepared for a wait during those times. The wait time usually depends on how slow or fast people in front of you go through the line. There's usually a bottleneck at the topping station as you watch people hem and haw over which toppings to get. The staff here has always been friendly and helpful. Enjoy the setup of YL. You get as much or as little as you want, you select your flavor(s), and load up on whatever toppings you like. YL tends to have a nice selection of toppings, from standard chocolate chips, candies, cookies, fruit and chopped nuts, to popping liquid fruit ball thingies (sorry, don't know the official name), mochi (sweet chewy rice balls - a favorite for us), and sweet red bean (azuki). They also have syrups and whipped cream. You weigh it up and pay by the ounce (38 cents/oz). If you ask the cashier for sample cups when you walk in, they will give you a few so you can taste flavors. And YL is known for rotating and debuting new and unique flavors all the time. There are probably about 8 small tables inside, plus some outdoor seating. We usually take ours to-go since it's not far from our home. This location is pretty clean and the toppings are usually kept tidy and filled. During this evening's visit, the Blueberry Tart flavor was out so I let them know and the friendly young employee refilled it quickly for me - thank you, Yogurtman. There is a large, self-serve water dispenser if you get thirsty, and a restroom for customers to use (just have to request the key). Our family likes froyo and we like YL. We will def be back for more. Tip: check and save your receipt as sometimes there's a survey code. If you answer the survey they'll give you a code for 3 oz of free yogurt on your next visit. read more

I came on a not so busy day. I scraped the bottom of my car coming here coz of the bulky hump in the parking lot. Is that hump really necessary? Well, it's not Yogurtland's fault. This location needs some update or better service standards. Started off with no longer offering sample cups, understandable due to health reasons, so I ignored that. But then when getting my toppings I saw the worker barehanded straightening the wafer straws. Like aren't you supposed to wear gloves when doing that. To top it off, they proceeded to help a customer pay for yogurt right after, completely skipping over the hand washing. Makes me wonder, did they wash their hands prior to rearranging the toppings? Let me spit out my bias first by saying that yes, I am a big fan of Yogurtland. However, I do note that all froyo places are not created equal. This Yogurtland is one of the better locations I have visited. It is very clean, roomy, and has ample seating and parking space. You can find folks here at all times of the day, so it seems like several people are satisfied with the place (outside of it being the cool hangout spot for many local kids). I found that this location had most of the essential flavors like arctic vanilla (they got rid of Madagascar here), pistachio, plain tart, chocolate twilight (might be on a limited run), taro, blueberry, strawberry, and so on. I found that if you came late here, you may run into the problem of having the machines pour the stuff out slowly to you. I believe there is an adjustment knob for that on the handle, but I wouldn't mess with it. Oh yeah, say it is to go, so that they don't charge you an extra fee. What more can I say? I'm happy? Well, I am. It's not too chalky, not too milky, and it's full of sugar. Yum. read more

We visited this location on a Monday evening and the plaza was very quiet and no one was inside Yogurtland. The place was clean and the young gentlemen working there was friendly. There was one yogurt dispenser out of service. My favorite flavors are normally the seasonal ones, this time it was the caramel pecan, but it came out a little watery. read more

Been coming here whenever in town since they first opened. Last time I came in they had signs everywhere of Victoria Beckham taking her kids to a yogurtland. So if Victoria Beckham takes her kids to yogurtland... dammit it's good enough for me. At 30 cents an oz yogurtland sure is a deal. With at least a dozen flavors and toppings to choose from you are sure to find something that suits your taste buds. I've only been to 2 Yogurtland's, and this one on Pioneer Blvd. is the one I frequent the most. The Cerritos Mall one is teeny-tiny in comparison. Parking is okay... One section of the lot is for compact cars and another section has regular spaced spots. I was able to park my Pilot in the compact area, but we really had to *squeeze* in and out of the vehicle. The lines can get long, but they move really fast. And like fellow yelp*er ReBecki P. mentioned, it's weird how you have to cut through customers sitting at the tables to get your fro-yo on. The staff here are always nice and they keep things clean, neat, and well-stocked! I've noticed lately that they make an effort to welcome you as you enter. Always a nice touch. Just in case you felt like hooking me up with Yogurtland fro-yo, a mixture of any of the following would be just fine. Please and thank you! Fro-yo flavors: mango, taro, blueberry tart, toasted coconut, pineapple tart, matcha green tea, pistachio. A mix of any three would do! Oh, and the smaller of the two bowls, please, pretty please! Yogurtland is located smack dab in the middle of a hot bread bakery and a cool coffee studio. Lovely, lovely flavors~ vanilla bean, blueberry, taro, chocolate, mango, but most especially their toasted coconut & pistachio. Truly awesome!!! There are also lots of fun topping choices, as well as the fruity fresh toppings, too. They're open til 12am .. YES!! That means if I'm craving to fill my froyo spot late at night and Pinkberry is toooo far, this place is my second resort. This one is definitely one of the better Yogurtland I've been to. The service is very nice. They always say hi and even engage in conversations. I usually go in right before they close so I was surprised when one time I went at around 1030pm and they were bustling with people. The only flavors I like is the peanut butter, original, and kiwi (but I don't know if they change it up every once in a while but they haven't had kiwi in a while!!! booooo, guess its not that popular?) The employees are always making sure that the toppings area is always clean and stocked. Every time I've been there, they're always refilling the mochi (my fave) so I always get soft new ones, yummmy. The thing that I don't like about these self serve places is that the line is always long to put the toppings on and pay as people seem to never know what they want to put on their froyo and so they stall the line. grrr (I'm impatient). This place has quickly become a favorite after losing our beloved Tutti Fruitti on Del Amo. Based on the good reviews, my husband and I decided to make a trip and instantly fell in-love. Not only do they have a ton of different flavors, they have a ton of different toppings (even though we're both creatures of habit and always get the same thing). I love that you're able to swirl two flavors together - except sometimes I wish they had complimenting flavors side-by-side. The idea of cheesecake yogurt mixed with Peanut Butter cup makes me wanna gag! I LOOOOOVE their hours! Tutti Fruitti closed at 8. Yogurt Time closes at 10...but this place is crackin all evening long! We've come by at almost 10:30 and the place was PACKED...inside AND out. I had never seen such madness in a yogurt spot! Yogurtland is the place to go for the indecisive, i need variety type. This place definitely beats out all the other yogurt places for variety and do-it-yourself. Honestly I think Pinkberry is still the best, but I must hand it to yogurtland for their creative flavors, and new flavors that draw people in every month. I just think that the quality of their yogurt isn't as good as pinkberry, but I aint' picky. Since it's closer to where I live i'm always down to go! I love how they have tokidoki and hello kitty to redesign their stuff from time to time. Price can't be beat, and their locations are more plentiful in my area. read more

Definitely I think Yogurtland here on Pioneer is much better than the one in the Cerritos Mall. The nice part is that it's open late...midnight, which is hard to find in my little city that I live in. But this one is clean, the fro-yo is good and the toppings are delightful. I just recently discovered those little mochii balls...and I'm addicted. If it didn't look so crazy, I might just get a tiny bucket of just mochi balls. I tend to get cereal and light stuff on my yogurt making it cheaper. My friend always packs on all the fruit which is heavier in weight, and so her's ends up being more expensive. I would recommend this over pinkberry just because it's cheaper and you can detail it to your desire. Also it's a bit nicer than YogurtWorld because it's newer and cleaner. I enjoy the toppings more than the yogurt, which is average. The store is clean but the layout is awkward. For those of you who don't know Yogurtland and how it works, the store has several flavors of self-serve yogurt (some more flavorful than others, some of thicker consistency than others). You grab a cup and get as much yogurt as you want then add toppings. The toppings are fruits (at this location the fruit, such as blueberries, raspberries, etc, taste and look fresh) or sweets such as chocolate chips or gummi bears. Or if you want to rip up the roof of your mouth, try the Capn' Crunch. Then you put your cup on a scale and pay by weight. read more
