I frequent this yogurtland A LOT. With and without my two kids haha. I like that the floors are kept clean and the yogurt area too. The flavor dispensers are usually all working and when one is out of order, it's usually not a flavor I wanted haha. The toppings area is a little hit or miss with how messy it is. My child has a tree nut allergy so sometimes I need to ask for fresh coconut flakes vs the coconut flakes in the topping area that have nuts poured everywhere. The last time I went (about a week ago), I did notice that the coconut flakes were in a jar instead of the open containers. Perhaps it would be a good idea to do that for the nuts/tree nuts since they're a very common allergen and they can easily end up everywhere. Staff is usually friendly at checkout. We have never stayed to eat our yogurt inside or outside so I can't comment on that. We also always go in the late morning to early afternoon so I don't know how the place ends up looking by the end of the day. read more

Yogurtland Dillanger, your employee is very rude and impolite to his customers. On several occasions he has been rude to my children. We love coming to your location, having a sample and purchasing some yogurt! It's my kids favorite outing. Today my kids went in and asked for a sample cup. He was rude and told them that he ran out. What he didn't know is that we were meeting friends there and when they arrived they asked for a sample cup and he said, here you go?!!!!! Revisit? Yup! We like coming here once in a while. Starting with the negative - lack of cleanliness. The yogurt dispensers tend to have little pools and smears of yogurt underneath them. The dispenser handles and serving spoons are sticky sometimes. You'll probably have to sidestep a mess on the floor at some point during your visit. Basically I've never seen the place nice and clean the way other Yogurtland locations are. With that said, the staff is always friendly. They have a good selection of flavors and toppings. The acai bowl is pretty good. 2 Stars -- Needs Serious Attention to Cleanliness & Quality Control I've been coming to this Yogurtland in Lakewood for a while now--mainly because my grandson really likes this location--but unfortunately, I've had ongoing concerns that need to be addressed. First and foremost, the cleanliness is consistently poor. The outside area is always dirty--stained steps, grimy floors, and neglected benches. The inside isn't much better. Floors are sticky and dirty almost every time I visit (usually in the evening), and I often see spilled yogurt left on the machines and surrounding counters. It just never feels clean or well-maintained, which is disappointing. Second, I recently purchased a chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt sandwich from the $5 freezer. Not only was the packaging misleading--it was labeled as cookie dough, but there was no cookie dough in it--just plain yogurt inside. This isn't the first time the labeling or quality has been off with these freezer items, and at $5 a piece, it's frustrating to get the wrong thing. I don't know if this location is independently owned or corporate, but someone really needs to step in and do a quality and cleanliness audit. This location could be so much better if it were just maintained and managed with more care. I hope things improve, because we do enjoy coming here for the yogurt--but right now, the overall experience falls far short of what it should be. read more

I love yogurtland and everyone at all the locations are very friendly and it is always clean. However, the last 2 times I've been there they're cleaning up early and don't have all the flavors out. I understand if they're cleaning up 30 mins early but this location doesn't close till 11pm and at 9:35pm they had about maybe 6 flavors out. The only reason I come to this location is because they're open later and the Long Beach/bixby location closes at 10 and again at 9pm only have a few flavors out . I'm not even sure we're to start with this one. I had a dad daughter dinner night and she said let's do dessert and I was like um! Just kidding dessert ok let's go. She named this place and I thought wow we haven't been there in forever. We show up an it's pretty dead. About three minutes in it gets crazy busy and everybody is just jumping around each other to get what they want. The place was clean the staff aka cashiers were nice. I had the strawberry, chocolate covered strawberry and pistachio with fruity pebbles KitKat butterfinger and it was super good. Just don't forget like I did they don't ask what topping you got they just ask you to put it on the scale. I was there on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy but not packed I took a container and looked over the flavor section. I noted that some card holders were empty . I went to the first machine offering strawberry and it is not working second offered chocolate is dispensing warm linguist. In the end my selections were strawberry milkshake, cookies & cream,lemon , watermelon nothing else worked. The roping bar was a mess the labels were not line if up with what was there so it was a game of guess the toppings. The staff at the register looked overwhelmed. She was present acknowledged that over half the flavors were not working . I paid and we heard a rattling sound start to come from one of the machines. She calmly said " that sounds bad" but stayed put. No investigating what happened. The building is getting an exterior refresh . Inside looking a bit tired with an unused display case by the register covered with a dirty pull down cover. The tables and floor were clean . read more

EDIT: Hi Mel, I emailed support and have received no response regarding my experience. Today I went to get yogurt for my family and almost every flavor was out of stock. I already emailed their business owner but had to post my experience as well. Everything is so expensive nowadays, so to have such a bad experience 4 times in a row, was worthy to post this review. I spoke with the employee and explained to him that tonight was my 4th time to the store, I go about once a week to get yogurt for my family and that every time so many machines are out of order. When I asked why, he said the machines have been broken and a maintenance team hasn't been able to come fix it. Then I asked if he could refill the Reese's topping, and those are out of stock too. He explained that the store is under new management and I asked who I could speak to to give feedback because we would like to continue coming to the store, but not if things will not be getting restocked properly. He didn't know what to say other than the owners are not there often and to try a Yelp review. In addition, when I walked in, I was not greeted. The yogurt that is pre packed in the fridge by the door is never stocked. The employees are rude and they seem to hate their jobs. The yogurt dispensers are filthy, the fruit trays are not filled, the candy and cereal trays are filthy. Customers have to ask for certain toppings(almonds, gram crackers etc) The Carmel and fudge pumps were dirty. It has been several occasions that people are using their hands and eating the candy. Today they ran out of the small containers for the yogurt. A customers had to ask the young lady behind the counter to restock the containers and she had a horrible attitude. It looked like she was working alone, but there were other employees in the back talking and laughing. The outside sitting area was nasty and trash was overflowing. I had a fantastic experience. The best part! It was all about safety and cleanliness first! When I walked in, an employee kindly asks if my kids and I could wait about 5 mins so she can clean and sanitize the high traffic areas. How could you say no to that and appreciate that this Yogurtland location is doing its best to keep this clean and safe for everyone. I also appreciate the hand sanitizer and plastic gloves they offer to everyone. High 5s on that!! Besides offering all the glorious different flavors of frozen yogurt and soft serve, this location also serves smoothies, shakes, acai bowls, and bionicos. It makes complete sense that Yogurtland would be serving this too. I had to give it a try and the kids were screaming for a Cookie Cream Monster Shake. It was so good, rich, and chocolatey. It doesn't taste like an oreo shake but chocolate chip cookie forward with more chocolate tones. It was a nice and absolute hit! Next, I tried the Acai Bowl. I never had one before and I have to say it was also fantastic. It was pretty much tasted like a thick berry smoothie/sorbet topped with so many fresh fruits that I picked sprinkled with almonds. Last but not least the kids got their favorite cookies n cream, chocolate and vanilla soft serve with a ton of mini m&ms and oreos. It was a fun evening before their school starts next week. Had to take it to five stars. Can me again today (10/3/22) and one of the machines wasn't working. Boooooo. Emily promptly provided EXCELLENT service and did all that she could to fix it. Unfortunately she couldn't, but her service was so excellent and her demeanor so pleasant I ended up getting an açaí bowl. Emily is rad. Don't let her go!! Quick and easy. Got in and grabbed my yogurt with a minimal wait even though a small rush had just come in. I had been to the Lakewood Yogurtland a few times before to satisfy my sweet tooth, and I've been pretty satisfied with my visits for the most part. At Yogurtland, you have the opportunity to customize your frozen yogurt to your liking. Think Pieology (like the one a few steps northwest), but for frozen yogurt. Well, then again, maybe that's a bit of a stretch since the Pieology employees are the ones making your pizza, but you are the one who makes your dessert. Add whatever flavors you want, add whatever toppings you want, add whatever sauces you want, and voila! Your custom-created dessert is complete! And just when I was comparing Pieology to Yogurtland, it's not unlimited toppings for the same price. It's 49 cents per ounce, so as you're making your custom creation, you may not have a clue as to how much you'll pay for your dessert until you go up to the cashier to weigh and pay. My last visit was on a Sunday at about 5:30 PM. Summer was winding down, but it felt like the dog days. Couple that with my high level of stress at the time, and I couldn't help but cave in. On my past visits, I went for their frozen yogurt, but I had just recently discovered they do shakes as well. My curious self wanted to go see what that was all about. When I came in, I was hoping for some information about shakes before deciding, and a staff member named Geovanni was standing behind the toppings counter. He noticed me looking in his direction and was happy enough to walk around the counter and answer my questions. I probably asked more questions than the average customer since Yogurtland shakes were new to me, but he was incredibly patient and informative during my entire visit. He definitely made my visit smooth when it could have been rough otherwise. Still, I had a difficult time deciding between a Drinkable and a Blendable shake. Both are paid by the ounce, but Drinkables come in Small and Regular size. There was just one stack of cups for Blendables. I didn't compare the sizes of the cups, but I believe the Blendable cups were slightly bigger than those of a Regular Drinkable. I ended up going for a Blendable. I went with strawberry cheesecake flavored froyo. I tried filling my cup with as much of the froyo as possible, and then I added some toppings like Butterfinger, Peanut Butter Cups, and cheesecake bites. They had fruit toppings as well, but I didn't feel like adding fruit toppings to the mix. I also wanted to add some sauce, and I saw four sauce bottles in the middle of the toppings counter, but without names to signify what flavors the sauces were. Geovanni noticed I was struggling to decide and offered his help again. After asking him what the sauces were (strawberry, raspberry, mix of the two berries, and condensed milk), I went with the strawberry raspberry sauce. I inserted my cup into their blending machine to the right of the toppings counter and hit the START button. After about 1-2 minutes, the blending was complete. Geovanni mentioned I could blend it again if it wasn't to my liking, but I thought once was enough. I didn't want to risk overdoing it. I added a few more toppings like sprinkles and Fruity Pebbles post-blend just to mix it up a little more. Finally, I went to the front and weighed my shake (it ended up being 11.2 oz for a grand total of $5.49) before paying. Geovanni also offered me a spoon and a straw to go with my shake. How did my shake taste? Great! Except I didn't actually taste any strawberry cheesecake. A little disappointing, but the shake was blended well enough that I enjoyed every spoonful of it. Having toppings in there before blending and adding more after the fact helped out since it added chunky bits with varying degrees of chunkiness that my taste buds enjoyed. It was a great way to refresh and de-stress, especially with Geovanni's stellar service putting me in a better mood heading into Sunday night. I ended up not using the straw, so I'll be keeping the straw as a souvenir from my visit there. Definitely recommend! You can go as crazy as you want in customizing your dessert, but if there's one piece of advice for me to give before ending this review, I would suggest not going too crazy. Like I've said in other reviews, too much good isn't necessarily a good thing, and I'm thinking I might have put in a little too much good in my shake. read more

I've been coming at this location for a long while now. The service is always great! Not one have I ever had a problem. The staff/crew there are ALWAYS so nice and helpful. They are all genuinely nice! They have so much variety of flavors and every time I have gone its never been to packed. I love Yogurtland I only come to this location because it is closes to me AND because of their great service! If its you first time going you can get free samples! Even if its not your first time you can still sample other flavors so no matter what you will walk out with a flavor you enjoy! I go to the Yogurtland in Lakewood for their hot fudge. Most other locations do not have hot fudge. This is the second time in a row that they are out of hot fudge. When I went to pay, the cashier could not run my membership car. She said the cards were not working today. She went back to get her boss when I got upset. She left all the money that she was counting out of the cash register on the counter. The boss came up front and acted like he ran my membership card and said it worked. We really like this YL and find ourselves here whenever we eat a meal at Pieology or Cafe Rio around the corner. This location always seems to have the latest items that YL has to offer that we don't tend to see at other locations (shake making machine, hard chocolate shell topping, etc.). I have also noticed the staff here is always on top of keeping this location clean and tidy. There is always someone tidying up the toppings bar or cleaning the windows.
