Ok so the yougurt as far as the taste is good HOWEVER, the place itself leaves a lot to be desired in regards to cleanliness, all the chairs look dirty with smears of what? Not sure, is it spilled yougurt or snot who knows but it's just unsanitary, the floors are dirty and looked like that last time anyone swept the floors was back when covid started, the windows look dirty so honestly it just doesn't feel like a nice place to sit and enjoy anything. Their Covid hours are 12pm-8pm. I live across the street and every time I come they are closed an hour-30 mins early. Seems like an issue with this location. Last night (1/11/2020) I was there at 7:30pm and everything was packed up and lights off. I tried knocking but I assumed whoever was in the back was ignoring it. I called and a girl answered and said there was a "situation" so they had to close early. We had to drive all the way over to Cupertino when again I live right across the street from this one. This place has me re-hooked on froyo! I love the flavors (esp Salted Caramel and Strawberry), the toppings are tasty and kept fresh, and the pricing is simple. If you add the app to your phone you get made aware of sale days for app people only where you can get 'as big as you can fit in a cup' for $5. Other than sometimes being out of a flavor I like there isn't to much not to like about this place.......Now if only it was closer to my house! You rock Yogurtland, see ya soon! read more

There was no employee in the front when I came in. Didn't great me until I needed something. Waited and acknowledged me. Paid a VERY high price for yogurt and realized they had placed the top jar on the scale. I had paid over twice what I needed to. She had to go get her manager. They refunded me the difference but there was no apology but was treated if somehow I was at fault for the error. Selection wasn't great for flavors--a lot of semi- repeats. The quality of the froyo at this Yogurtland has really gone down in the past year or so. Much too soft; not sure what changed. When clerks were questioned about this quality, they were not very sure why. The sad part is froyo spot is the closest in the area to me. On a Friday night there are a lot of missing flavors. Which is disappointing. The yogurt dispense area is not clean despite two female staff on duty. They limit tasting cup to two and I have seen some unhygienic practice as a result. Today, some guy decided to slop yogurt into his cup then this older man dipped his finger into the cut to scoop yogurt that spilled over his cup (he was not very focus when dispensing yogurt and a lot of it fell onto the tray or outside of his cup). This guy then stuck his finger with yogurt in his mouth and then touched another handle to dispense more yogurt. Of the 15 or so yogurt dispense handle, a good 40% had his saliva. No fruits were available when I came ... Nothing... And employee didn't want to cut more.... Its like saying, NO, you can't have ANY salt or any other seasoning with your food. I was sampling 2-3 flavors and looking around because I didn't want to get my cup and have it melt if no one was going to ring me up. The employee finally came out after 12 minutes and I kindly asked if any fruits were going to be replenished (because I'm assuming that's what she would be doing in the back for so long). ALL THE FRUITS WERE EMPTY. She said "oh fruits are not ready yet". I said "oh do you happen to know how much longer?" She said "they will not be ready any time soon. No fruits" UHHHHHHHHHHHHH....... 1. What were u doing the entire time? Usually, I LOVE THIS PLACE because their froyo and the topping selections are really good. And usually the employees are nice to the customer(sometimes they are "okay" though haha). HOWEVER, I had such a BAD experience today. I don't know his name since he didn't put his name tag but the guy who was working when we visited he served us with really bad attitude. He seemed like he hates his life... First, my friend and I asked him for the sample cups which majority of the customers ask for. Then he just gave me only two cups for two people without saying anything. And I asked him for more cups then again, he just silently gave us two more cups with such a serious face. When I paid, I used coupon. After the payment, I was waiting for him giving me the hard copy of the receipt but he just said "you are free to go." So I politely asked him for the receipt but he said "oh, it's already stapled to the coupon which we are keeping." Yeah, I saw him doing that right in front of me but I didn't know that I can't get the receipt if he does that since he explained me NOTHING before hand. So, I didn't get my receipt. great new yogurtland in mtn view! when i lived kitty corner from el monte shopping center, there wasn't much here, in terms of food...starbucks, jamba, and pizza my heart, that was about it. then i moved north, and in came panera bread, panda express, and yogurtland! i know that had i not moved, i'd be coming to yogurtland ALL THE TIME b/c i LOVE froyo, esp yogurtland's yogurt. since we were in the area, i begged my husband to drop by el monte shopping center b/c i just had to see the newest yogurtland in the area. it is sandwiched in between panera and panda, and is a bit smaller than most yogurtlands, but they made good use of this space by adding a long booth along one wall, which seats maybe 6 or 8 people? there are a few tables and chairs as well, so several parties can sit and eat inside. there's also a couple of tables and chairs right outside their storefront. as with most yogurtlands, they offer 16 different flavours, but on this day, 2 of the taps were out of service, so only 14 flavours. i was pleased to see the newest candy crush flavours, salted caramel gelato and cotton candy froyo. they also had taro, a flavour that i hadn't seen in a long time, at least, not at the yogurtlands i'd visited as of late. i went with the taro since i hadn't had this flavour for a while, and it was as smooth and creamy as i remembered, without being too sweet, the way taro should be. i'm not a toppings gal, so i skipped the toppings bar, but i did see that they were fully stocked with the usual nuts, gummy bears, candy, fresh fruit, and syrups. i think the best thing was that when the cashier rang up my order, i saw that the price was only $0.41 per ounce, instead of $0.49, like the other bay area locations i'd visited recently. i think $0.41 might be the cheapest self-serve froyo in the bay area since everyone else has to increase the cost due to inflation....typically i see anything from $0.43 to $0.59 per ounce at competitors, including yoppi, red mango, miyo, and tutti frutti. too bad i don't still live kitty corner from this yogurtland, but i know that i'll be stopping by whenever i'm in this part of mtn view! read more

I love froyo and yogurtland is by far my favorite spot to get it. I am so happy that they opened one in Mountain View, yeah! They have a huge selection (16 flavors) with seasonal ones that change every couple of weeks. The froyo is creamy and has the perfect consistency. Vanilla is my favorite and they have Madagascar and French, make sure you try the Madagascar. It has vanilla beans in it and is SO good. The French vanilla tastes more like custard and is yellowish. The toppings are great, they have fresh fruit, white mochies (my favorite), sprinkles, whipped cream and so much more. It is open till late, so the perfect treat after a late night run. read more

Last time we went they had chocolate covered blueberry, tart pear, rocket pop, and a delicious apple strudel! My favorite is still plain tart. And they always have it. Mmmm love yogurt land. I think the best part is having the opportunity to sample the yogurt before choosing. In addition to this, the toppings are great. There is always a great variety to choose from as well. The only issue is that there is a glass wall really close to the machines. Greatest thing about Yogurtland is their Taro flavor. When the condiments are fresh, cheesecake bites are the BOMB. ONE (1) star for the their incredibly ridiculous cashiers who on multiple occasions LIED and said there was not a flavor that was actually being served at that moment. We checked. This happened twice. One star for employee knowledge for their 'Rainy Day special" we love IF someone knows its been a rainy day. If it is not raining they may argue that you don't get the discount unless rain is happening. Not true, confirmed by kind manager. One star for employees making the customer have to know the special- specifically buy one get one free, we purchased and had to tell her about it, then the next people were not informed. I wonder how many people sadly did not get their B1G1. ASK them for fresh toppings if they looks gross and smashed, the manager knows good quality. MAKE SURE your total is correct. There have been a couple times where their math for discounts were wrong and we would have been overcharged if not paying attention.
