Was just here, had a few customers inside. Hadn't been to a Yogurtland in a while, so was excited to have it again. After waiting for the employee helping all the customers, I asked for a sample cup and was told they don't do samples. Not sure if this is actually something new company wide or just this shop, felt strange though. Walked over to check out the flavors, and they actually had a few I had not tried before. Then I saw pricing was $1.37/ounce, which seemed high. But it is what it is. Looked at the flavors and tried to determine which of the new flavors night pair well together. After guessing as you aren't allowed to try things before hand at this store, went to grab a cup but they only have the extra large cups to put the yogurt in. And realizing your paying by the ounce, this store is absolutely ripping customers off by only offering the largest cups, making you pay more money for all the enjoy space you won't be using. After so many red flags, I just decide to leave, this store is not worth my business considering how it is being run with pricing, only offering the largest cups and not allowing you to try flavors prior to purchasing. Skip this Yogurtland and get dessert somewhere else read more

After walking from the beach we stopped at Yogurtland for a cold treat. Located on Third Street Promenade, the space is small but clean and organized. I had the Pistachio and Milk & Honey. Since they didn't have tasting cups, the husband decided to get a little bit of everything. They only have large cups and charge $1.37 per ounce. Our cups that were about half filled with just a bit of toppings cost $27. The yogurt was a bit softer than usual, but the flavors were quite yummy and satisfying after our long walk. This frozen yogurt shop offers a variety of flavors and toppings and great location. Pricing : Very expensive, Only option is extra large cup so you are paying for the big cup which you don't need. I filled it not even a third of the way, got a small scoops of toppings, and were charged $13.56 which shocked me, as it typically costs around $6 - $7 at other locations in Garden Grove. This is nearly three times the usual price. They don't have the tiny sample cups either so you have to just hope that you like the flavors that you're overpaying for . Absolute robbery. $25 for two 9.2 ounce ice creams? At $1.37 an ounce, these people are out of their minds. To make it worse, they only had large containers available, so you are forced into an overpriced portion. Several advertised flavors were unavailable, yet the signage remained posted. The yogurt itself also came out unusually watery, which affected the quality considerably. In addition, there were flies around the toppings area, which raised cleanliness concerns. What surprised me most was the pricing. There was no clearly visible signage indicating the cost per ounce, and I ended up paying $22.19 for less than half a cup of yogurt. This location is new and needs major help. We went for the first time a few months ago and the vibes were off, but we thought maybe just an adjustment to the new location. Came in at 4 on a Saturday and no employee was out front. The drip trays for all the dispensers were disgusting, the vanilla was barely coming out. The toppings were a mess. My experience here was very disappointing. They only offer one cup size, which means you have to estimate the amount of yogurt yourself. I filled my cup a little over halfway, and it still came out to $28.08 before tip, which felt extremely overpriced for what I received. The customer service was also lacking. The employee helping me--who seemed very young--didn't say a single word during the entire interaction, which made the experience feel even more unwelcoming. When I went to sit outside, the tables were dirty with dried yogurt spills that clearly hadn't been cleaned. The toppings were also stale--some of the candies were so hard they were almost impossible to chew. Even the yogurt itself tasted low-quality compared to other places I've tried. However, the SANTA MONICA location does have an INSANE upcharge!??? It's definitely cuz they're in a tourist heavy area so I get that. Like other Yogurtland locations, you'll find 16 self-serve froyo flavors a day and toppings. However, the price is much higher (it's a touristy area) at $1.32/oz (compared to $0.70 at the average YL). The soft serve machines are new and the shop looks nice since it's new. They've abandoned the square green tiles in favor of faux wood. Froyo flavors of the day: * Plain tart * Alphonso mango tart * Rocket pop sorbet * NSA French vanilla * Cherry chomp sorbet * Watermelon lemonade sorbet * Vegan oatmeal cookie * Dragon passion tart * Vanilla ice cream * Rich chocolate ice cream * Cookies n' cream * Vanilla cupcake batter * Fresh strawberry * Cheesecake: this was very good, smooth, creamy, delicious and natural tasting * Pistachio * Toasted coconut The shop looked clean. Parking is going to be a challenge but you can park at the mall for free (the first 90 minutes are free) and there are public parking structures. A complete scam! I arrived with four boys under 10 years old. They only have a large cup, which is practically the size of a pint. I asked if there were smaller cups and there were not. There is a sign that the price is $1.37 per ounce. I reminded the boys that they are large cups to only fill up a little bit. It came to almost $60. In addition, one of the flavors was not working and poured blue juice into one of the boys cup. That alone probably cost more than a regular yogurt would anywhere else.
