Always love me some froyo even on a cold day. Such a sweet treat. Yogurt land is a staple and solid chain. Unfortunately maybe due to Covid this store had very limited flavors. Maybe like 5? It was a lil disappointing. I miss going to a store and be able to sample a variety of their flavors. They had 2 of the ice cream flavor and maybe only 3-4 yogurt options. Overall I applaud their take on covid guidelines. Mandatory to sanitize hands and make sure to wear disposable gloves. They will also be the one to add your toppings for you. This place is amazing. I love the yogurt here. Let me get though small thing I want to point out that I wish would change out-of-the-way first. It's always really warm inside this place. I don't know why, but it is let me continue on nothing but great praise for this place. I love the yogurt, it's so great. It's very clean in here. All the staff are very nice very welcoming very professional and very helpful. Everything is very well maintained. I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. I even like one of the staff members who again I forgot their names. I'm terrible with names, she pointed out that as a promotion we got free with our purchase. It was great. I've been here a number of times and I plan on going back again well worth it. This place might have no line but the flavors were meh. i sampled a few of the 'new' flavors, or flavors I've never tried at the Irvine location and most of them were kinda gross especially the orange creme. It had this seriously artificial orangey taste to it - almost floral. The cafe de leche was good though, tasted just like coffee ice cream. i was hoping they'd have the big variety of the Irvine location, but unfortunately.... NO. Wow! This is one of the cleanest Yogurtlands I've ever stepped foot in! The space itself isn't as big compared to other locations, but the restroom was clean! The part I was most impressed about was the toppings area. Not even one misplaced piece of candy/fruit/nuts/etc. As I sat eating my yogurt, whenever the staff member had a free moment, she checked the toppings station. Perhaps she was just a hard worker who happens to be on shift while I visited, but thanks for your hard work! Aish, this place has gone downhill. I'll still come here for the yogurt, but it can get inconsistent (that's why I always ask for a sample cup). Sometimes their yogurt is icy and other times it's super creamy. You never know what you're gonna get. The main reason for the 2 stars is not so much the yogurt or toppings because I still love Yogurtland, but this place has just gotten ridiculously cramped and crowded. It doesn't fare well, especially since this place is even teensier than other Yogurtlands. The line forms and you end up having to squeeze into this tiny corridor near the back just to wait and get your yogurt. For some reason this particular yogurtland also attracts tons of families with babies and tiny kids, so there's a lot of screaming, crying, and whining... It's really a big headache coming here for my yogurt fix at times. The line moves soo slow and they usually only have one cashier open. A member of our party was in the mood for yogurt so we went here because it was in the same plaza, or at least in the same parking lot. The layout here was very narrow, so we kept ending up asking each other to move out of the way while looking at each flavor, but we eventually ended up being able to construct yogurt after a lot of movement. The transaction seemed to be processed properly. I wasn't the one that paid. At this branch, the drinks are charged by the ounce. If this is something new I'm not aware of it. Crowds aside, I personally prefer this to Pinkberry because it has a way better selection and you pay by weight, meaning you can heap on a ton and mix flavors or just get a small snack for that midafternoon craving for under three bucks. And that's pretty handy since it's dangerously close to my work. It's serve-yourself yogurt and toppings with a wide array. If I'm feeling virtuous I'll stick with plain or green tea and fruit. If I'm not, which is more often than not, I'm all about the cookies and cream plus NY cheesecake, topped with cookie dough, Cap'n Crunch (just BECAUSE) and slivered almonds. My son wholeheartedly believes that EVERYTHING is better with gummy bears and sprinkles, so no matter what flavor he selects, those are for sure going on top. The aforementioned drawback, however, is that despite its popularity, seating is very limited. If you are very, very lucky you might score a table. Or a chair. Otherwise try to make it home before it melts. Or before you crash your car because you just couldn't wait to dig in (distracted driving, kids!). I've visited the Fullerton and Irvine locations before stopping here and I've got to say that their quality has dropped significantly. I tried a combination of the plain tart and the green tea flavors and was very disappointed. The froyo here is much icier than I remember. How sad when I know that newer froyo shops are putting out better tasting and creamier versions of this frozen treat. The green tea flavor was also perfumey and pretty gross overall. Wow! I never thought it was necessary to review Yogurtland. This location has gone way down hill. Tonight they didn't have sample cups.... Last time I thought it was maybe an off day. This shop feels a little run down, which makes it seem unclean. The machines are frequently not working. Two flavors were out of order tonight and one machine was making a strange loud sound. Seems to be typical that at least two of their machines aren't functioning. They used to have berries and fresh fruit. Usually I'm a fan of topping my yogurt with sliced strawberries and mango. Not at this location! Now a days the strawberries look off color and previously frozen and if they have mango, it never looks right either. I don't know what happened at this location, but it's not what it used to be. If you have a choice, go to a different location. read more

Yogurtland is my nieces favorite froyo shop in Orange County. And because they are OC kids, they've got some pretty refined palates at the age of 8 and 10. :) We swung by here this past Saturday after a delish dinner in Westminster. Yogurtland charges by weight at 30 cents an ounce and is self serve. What's impressive is their VAST selection of flavors. That night they had over a dozen flavors from original tart, mango tart, pistachio to holiday flavors like gingerbread and peppermint. Major plus points goes to the guy staffing the place. He handed over a TON of sample mini cups to us. And yes, I sampled every flavor that night--I've got no shame. :) Overall, the original tart is still the best flavor. A bit more icy than I prefer my yogurt but good "tart-ness". 3.5 stars. read more
