I love getting a little bit of froyo and a lot of toppings. It was empty on a Thursday night at around 8:30 p.m. It's right across from Sickles so there's a sign that says seats are for paying customers only. I'm guessing it must get busy when the high school lets out. They have tons of great flavors. Their tart is always good and my favorite, but I also tried the golden cupcake flavor. I'm sad they don't have pecans, but they do have walnuts, almonds and peanuts. They also have kiwi boba, which I never see. They don't have frosted animal crackers, which is a favorite of mine, so I missed seeing that. I got some mochi, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and cookie dough. All in all, my froyo came out to around $5. It's clean and there's ton of seating inside. I highly recommend. read more

The machines were a little sticky, like they'd just survived a sugar tornado, and half the flavors were MIA (RIP salted caramel or anything remotely exciting). First time in here and it was soo nice! I just loved everything about the experience. You walk in and you find all the flavors they have available at the moment, you can mix and match, then you go to the toppings section where they have a very nice selection, mango, bananas, other fruits, almonds, peanuts, whatever you can imagine! Guys in the cashier were nice with us! The shop looks very well organized and stocked! Everything looked very fresh. Definitely coming back as soon as I can! Their strawberry flavor is amazing! Super grateful this FroYo location has stayed in business for so many years. My girls love making their flavor selections then adding a variety of toppings. So many FroUo businesses have closed near us (in metro Atlanta). When we come to town to visit families during their school breaks they love getting dessert here. Our family always likes to visit here. We used to come more frequently but haven't been in a while. Last nights visit just proved how much we enjoyed frozen yogurt. They had the Dole Whip flavor which we all ended up getting and toppings for us included the strawberry bobas, fresh cut strawberries and fresh cut pineapples. My daughter got lucky charms marshmallows and captain crunch on hers. Upon walking in you're greeted by friendly staff that advise you that they'll let you sample any of the flavors. After you choose your favoring you can choose to put a brownie or cookie on the bottom or just fill your bowl with froyo and then proceed to the topping bar to choose from a slew of toppings. They have healthy choices as well as the unhealthy sweet ones. Strips and hot chocolate sauce also available. They do weigh your bowl and charge by the weight. This is probably my favorite Yogurtology location so far, possibly out of sheer luck but thats okay with me. The day I went, they happened to have some of the best flavors I've ever tried including toasted marshmallow and apple pie-- both were amazing! I also love Yogurtology for all the craziness you can get with your yogurt, like whole oatmeal creampies, brownies, and cake. In comparison to other Yogurtology locations, I feel like this one is much cleaner and less freezing in comparison. If only I lived closer to this one! read more

My wife and daughter live Yogurtology. Me? I'm not a big yogurt fan. However, I do like this place for dessert. If you're in the mood for frozen yogurt, they have a wide variety, Dole Pineapple being my favorite. You can start off with a base layer of cookies, cake or other goods and add your yogurt on top. Then you have the option to add a whole sloew of toppings on top, including boba, cherries, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, snickers, heath bar, chocolate chips, coconut, sprinkles, and a lot of other stuff that I don't remember. I always get the dole pineapple frozen yogurt with strawberries, blueberries ), pineapple, and strawberry boba. Mmmmmm...now I need to go back since I'm thinking of it... Just keep in mind you pay by weight...the more you add the higher your bill. Don't be the $15 yogurt customer that can't eat it all...lol. Either way, it is a nice treat to have, especially in Florida. The store is clean, the employees are nice and you can sign up for their reward club. This location is very clean, from the toppings bar to the tables. I was warmly greeted upon entering and told to feel free to ask for samples. Now, all locations do this, but not everyone seems happy about it. The two employees working tonight were both very chipper and even recognized some of the customers who came in and asked them how they'd been. In today's age, it's nice to experience this type of neighborly, community-like feel. Also, I usually am a strict tart nouveau eater, but I tried the chocolate turtle and actually liked it! Not too sweet and reminded me of gelato. So I put it in the center of my ring of tart nouveau and enjoyed it thoroughly! They are taking sanitary measures by having all guests pre sanitize their hands before making their froyo. They also are not offering samples. I had my normal experience with a plethora of flavors available and the same toppings. The topping stations have a sneeze guard as always. The area was very clear and there was one employee working. They seem like they have a larger assortment of froyo than most places, but the best thing is the toppings! They have so many options! Cookie dough! Whole Twix bars! Start off with a base of donuts! I love this place! Usually I have to eat Halo top or something healthier, but once in awhile I say eff it and I indulge. I am SO HAPPY about this froyo place. The staff was super friendly! I didn't take their offer to sample anything, because they had my favorite golden cupcake flavor, but they give the option. Of course, as with most places you get what you pay for. This is literally their business model. They weigh all of your delicious options, and that's how they gather your price. (Mine was $7, but I went a little crazy. One of my favorite frozen yogurt places in the area. So many yogurt shops are tiny, but this one is good size, always clean, and has plenty of seating. On a busy Saturday night the place was rocking, but they seemed to handle it easily. One worker was standing next to the yogurt dispensers, handing out sample cups of whatever flavor you wanted to try. They had about ten different flavors, including two non-dairy options. I hated being disloyal to my standard 'cake' flavor, but the salted caramel was so delicious, I just had to cheat. Then over to the fixings bar, which had a huge variety of options to toss on top of your yogurt, including interesting items like flavored boba, baklava pieces, and marshmallow sauce. I stuck with the classics - mini nonpareils and rainbow sprinkles, and then it was off to the weigh station. Quick, easy, delicious, and semi-healthy, this place is a winner. read more

One of my favorite places to get froyo. I love to have options when it comes to flavors and toppings and they have plenty to choose from. Anytime I've come here it's not usually too busy so I get to take my time without feeling rushed. They also keep it clean which is a plus. The staff has always been nice and helpful as well. My only criticism is the Oreo cookies I added to my froyo were stale and old. This place is also on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Just like the style of all Yogurtology stores this place was modern and clean. This one didn't have much sitting inside but did have some outside chairs. The staff was great too. I ordered the Froyo Cookie Dough sandwich. Just like it sounds, it's a spin on the classic ice cream sandwich with vanilla froyo in between chocolate chip cookie dough. It was pretty good but as the froyo melts in your mouth, which melts quicker than regular ice cream, all that's left is thick gobs of cookie dough and it becomes a bit tasteless after a while. Okay honestly what's NOT to love about Yogurtology?? I love froyo so my bf and I went for dessert after lunch and was not disappointed. They have an endless topping bar, which has literally EVERYTHING anyone would ever put on froyo. They also have brownies to put down before you put the froyo on, I got the blonde and it was so so so good. I got the pomegranate raspberry explosion froyo, unfortunately they don't have test cups anymore (but I snuck in a lick before I put too much in my cup to see if I liked it lol) and it was so tasty, I was very happy with my choice. I LOADED up with toppings too, the boba balls are my favorite and the snow caps are also a must have as well. Bottom line: if you're looking for a cold tasty treat, go to Yogurtology!!!! read more

"Flavors of the month!" and place so clean you cant even smell the candy bar. I wonder how many times they have cleaned the white couch. I mean dont get me wrong I feel like a little kid that wants to try everything and yes you can they just have to get the sample size for you. Hated asking her because my kids kept asking to try sample after sample, but they wouldnt share. I dont blame them though. Would you? Wen you go before Sep. is up try Cinnamon toast crunch, captian crunch, etc. and tell me what you think? Charge by weight so its expensive my family of 4 was $25. I mean I could have bought 4 gallons of ice cream and bags of Halloween candy at publix for the same price. I would be much heftier though. I can't give yogurtology a 5 because I only come for the Tart flavor. I keep trying other flavors and nothing else is good to me. I really need that sour taste to make me feel like I'm eating yogurt, otherwise I can have ice cream. The Tart is really good enough for me to come back for the same exact thing, though. My hubby and kids get all types of yogurt and they seem to like them. I eat mine pretty clean with nuts, dark chocolate and fruit. They get everything. All the toppings always look good. The store is always clean. I can get grossed out easily if I see other patrons doing funky things or if things are out of order with the yogurt machines or toppings. The workers do a great job of making sure this place is clean and inviting. I haven't been grossed out, so I'll keep coming back. read more

Uh oh, Tanya and Matt's Froyo has some stiff competition! I am fascinated by this concept of pay-by-the-ounce yogurt and toppings. I love being able to serve myself what I want, as much as I want, in the order that I want. It is not Weight Watchers friendly, unless you have willpower of steel. The toppings bar is AMAZING! A toppings bar that has baklava and pretzel M&Ms truly has it all. On this count it beats Tanya and Matt's by mile and a half. On the yogurt side, Tanya and Matt's evens up the fight. The flavors at Yogurtology are a bit on the new-age weird side. I am a traditionalist and stuck with strawberry, and did not try the others. But I like things like birthday cake, red velvet, and peanut butter. The flavors here had some colorful and weird names. Next time I'll do some sampling. Another plus for Tanya and Matt's is that they also have real ice cream. Sorry yogurt fans, sometimes I crave the real thing. It's nice to indulge ocassionally. Yogurtology is a very nicely appointed store with a modern look, a great looking setup, and an amazing toppings bar. The attendant was very friendly. This is a tough one. It's right next to Louis Pappas and Yoshi's Cafe, two of my favorite lunch spots. I love Tanya and Matt's but I'm also a Yogurtology fan. I'm dinging them 1 star for 2 reasons: they force their workers to give you the free samples instead of having you do it yourself and they are probably the worse for you fro yo around. Their sugar free is 20 cal/oz. Their peanut butter is over 40 cal/oz. Honestly that's not much better than ice cream. I'll stick with Matt and Tanya in westchase. Their sugar free is only 8 cal/oz. The yogurt on its own here is delicious. I have a hard time straying from the Cheesecake flavor, but word on the street Oatmeal Cookie is even better. Couple the amazing yogurt with the fact that this place has donuts, cookies, brownies and other baked goods at the BEGINNING of the assembly line (right where you pick up your froyo cup) and I don't know how there isn't one of these in every city in America. Yes, you can place an entire donut in the bottom of your yogurt cup. It doesn't get much more 'Merican than that! They have the best selection of toppings I've ever seen at a self-serve froyo spot, and you can choose to be healthy (lots of fruit & nuts) or go hog wild and dump a donut in the bottom as I mentioned above. My only complaint is the environment of this place is really sterile, almost like you're in a futuristic laboratory. I totally get that's intentional, hence the "ology" at the end of the name evoking a scientific connotation. I think it's a requirement to be obsessively clean to work here. Right as you're scooping out a topping, the staff on the other side of the sneeze guard quickly fixes your "mess" and makes sure every M & M is in place. It's a little off putting yet funny at the same time. And, of course, it makes me want to mess things up even more. It's really tempting to dump some strawberries into the Oreos and see what they do. :P read more

Found my new to me froyo shop! I love the fact that they don't allow people to sample on their own. This should be the model for all froyo shops! They have a flavor of the month and all the usual varieties. My fav is the salted caramel. Like most other yogurt shops, they offer a plethora of toppings, but bottoms? Cake, cookies waffles and more. These didn't tempt me but I'm all about options. Join their loyalty club and get $3 off for every 10 yogurts. Yum. I'm hooked! read more

This is the best yogurt shop that I've been to in Tampa. It's big, bright, clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and willing to help. When I want to try a yogurt I am never made to feel like I am inconveniencing anyone, as they come and stand and make sure you don't want to try anything else. There are always a lot of flavors to choose from, although my favorite, New York Cheesecake, is rarely in stock when I call or go. The toppings bar has more than you could ever want, and the staff cleans up as you go so that there is never intermixing of toppings. The rewards system is a key tag that keeps track of your purchases and takes $3 off your order after a certain number of visits. I think it is based on the number of yogurts that you purchase, and my only suggestion would be that they change it so that it is based on the weight of the yogurts. read more

I really liked this place, it was very clean, very nice staff working there and they gave you samples in a clean and sophisticated way, unlike any other that I've seen before. One of the employees asks you what type you'd like to try and then they pour it and hand you the sample, which is more sanitary than having everyone touch everything and making a mess everywhere. I got the raspberry/pomegranate combination and added all of my favs to it and man was it delicious. I strongly suggest anyone that lives in the Citrus Park area to try this place, it's the bomb. I will definitely come back to here over most other frozen yogurt places from now on. read more

I love this place. I love the options, both the yogurt & the toppings. The furniture is pretty comfy, and they have window w/ stools seating, and outside seating. I also appreciate that they let you try the flavors too. The only thing that sometimes happens here is the customer service lacks a bit. It is really hit or miss on whether they are friendly or just posted up against the wall. If their friendliness was more consistent, they probably would have scored a 5 star from me. read more
