Service was great, the staff were all incredibly sweet! Heather was our server and she was super kind and helpful :) The food tasted great and there was enough of it for us to have plenty of leftovers the next day.

We ordered the Red Velvet French Toast and the Banana Bed French Toast. Both were cold when the came to the table. The servings are also massive so unless you're starving I recommend just ordering a single slice instead of the plate. The icing inside of the Red velvet was COLD. Like it just came out of the refrigerator. The coffee was good and the server was super friendly.

Yolk has such delicious crepes and French toast! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. Definitely a great spot for breakfast or brunch.

I moved next door a few months ago and haven't had the chance to explore. I kept seeing Yolk on maps and my ex was in town, so we decided to try it since it's right to my apartment! Overall, food was solid, simple, and typical American breakfast. Food: Banana Nut Bread French Toast was really good! Him and I love banana bread, banana muffins, banana pastries-so the banana nut bread french toast was great to us! All Star Combo was a solid breakfast. Nothing crazy. He got the Red Sangria. It was in a very tiny glass, but it was a little strong enough for him to feel a little. Service: Casual, nothing crazy when we dined in. The day after, I had school and I had woken up extra early and decided to walk by and get the All Star Combo again, but with French Toast. The service I got right then and there at the cashier was very kind and attentive-I wish I got her name, but she worked on 11/27/25 at 7:12 AM. Her service was great. Ambiance: Very casual and simple breakfast restaurant. Outdoor seating is a nice plus too.

Yolk was cute for sure. You can park in the parking lot nearby and they will validate your parking. They have lots of unique options like smores pancakes and oreo pancakes which was a hit with the kiddos. My eggs benedict was delicious! Be prepared for some huge portion sizes. I really feel like it daughter and I could have shared a plate! Our server was just ok. Definitely not the attentive and consistent server im used to. It also took her forever to bring things like the extra plates and the check. Overall good experience.

Underwhelming experience this time around . The food was slightly warm chicken sausage was a little charred. The French toast was bland . The eggs and the fresh OJ was the upside of the meal. Friendly customer service still and we were attended to punctually. Side note: if you order chicken sausage you cannot get another meat with the all star combo .

The place was almost empty so we thought things would go well, we were sat quickly but then waited a long time for someone to come to table. I had to go up to front and ask the 3 folks standing around if anyone was going to serve us. A man came over and apologized and although I told him we were ready to place order, he only took drink order and left. Let me be clear, after this, the waitress who came over was outstanding. She was quick and very attentive. The food was very good. The restaurant was your typical brunch look.

The valet parking and ping-pong table that actually had a ball to play sold me before I ever walked in the door. We came at an off time of an off day, so it was not busy so we were quickly seated. I loved all of the selections on the menu, we were able to get some mimosas but also some fabulous coffees. The menu took us a bit to make selections on but the kids all inhaled their food. Everything was phenomenal from start to finish. Definitely worth a stop

You can valet park - much easier than to find parking in Dallas. They have a never ending mimosa in many flavors. I tried orange and cranberry. I ordered the breakfast burrito w grits and it was really good. I couldn't finish it because it was huge! My son got the big kid breakfast and ate it all so he was a fan too. Our server was attentive and i never made us wait for refills of our drinks. Inside the restaurant was super clean and so was the bathroom

Pancakes are very cakey. Not light and fluffy at all. French toast is very egg-y. It's obvious they don't use a good milk/egg ratio and the bread itself is not sweet and there's not a single hint of sugar or cinnamon in the batter. The cheese grits were runny and flavorless. I didn't see or taste cheese in it. Sent the bacon back because it was originally pink and undercooked. Overall, very disappointed. Yolk's consistency across locations is lacking because the two that I've been to in Chicago were delicious!

Pulled up to Yolk hungry and hopeful -- immediately fought for my life in the tightest parking lot in Dallas. Once inside, things turned around fast. Our server (wish I got her name!) was super friendly. Speaking of which, the drip coffee was hot and strong. OJ was fresh AF like, could've come from a backyard tree. We got the **breakfast sampler and green chilaquiles with chicken. Both hit the spot. Prices were reasonable, and despite the Hunger Games parking, I'd come back. Not mind-blowing, but a good go-to when you want real food and not sad drive-thru biscuits.

Love how convenient it is since they got a valet parking right in front. Doesn't cost anything but tips. The place is easy to find, it was right in front of the plaza. Servers are super friendly and nice. I got the west coast crepe and it was different, usually when I get a savory crepe, the crepe is also on the neutral side, this one it tastes like they used the crepe they use for sweet ones. It wasn't bad though, just got to get used to it. The mimosa was pretty small wish I got more but I've to drive back. The vibe is pretty casual. Overall I enjoyed the brunch selection!

We were visiting from out of town and, after reading mixed reviews, were uncertain about whether to give this place a try. However, after looking over the menu, we liked what we saw and decided to stop by for breakfast one morning while in Dallas. We were seated quickly--about a five-minute wait--and greeted warmly. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered the oat milk horchata cold brew, West Coast crepes with cheesy grits, sausage links, and a slice of very berry French toast. When I first tasted the horchata cold brew, it was surprisingly different--it had a flavor that reminded me of Fireball, which was not what I expected. As much as I love horchata, I wasn't able to finish it. Then the food arrived. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately, that was where the positive experience ended. Despite not having to wait long for our food, everything was cold--not just lukewarm, but cold. I was hoping for a warm, cheesy bowl of grits, but instead, I got bland, cold grits. Both the grits and the crepes lacked flavor, and we had to add salt to try to improve them. However, due to the temperature, it was still unappetizing. The only item that had any flavor was the French toast slice. Sadly, based on our experience, I can't recommend this place.

Is this kid friendly? I'll be coming solo through town with an elementary, a toddler, and a newborn, so I need a place where I'm not going to get side-eyed or snotty looks ;)

Yolk was actually voted Best Family Friendly restaurant a few years back. No side eyes from us.

All Yolk locations will be closed on Christmas day.

Hello! Is your outdoor patio area pet-friendly?

    Hello. Yes it is :)

Do you guys have a private room or patio for a large gathering?

Hello. We do not have a private room but we do have a patio. If you are interested in having a large gathering please email gianluca.pesce@eatyolk.com to discuss details. Thanks so much

Will they accommodate a large group (more than 7)?

Yes! There were several when we were there but I would suggest calling ahead as it gets packed!

    Do you have Bottomless mimosas?

We do not unfortunately. We offer mimosas by the carafe or by the glass.

Do they serve breakfast all day?

Yes. They are open Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am-3:00pm

    Does yolk have bottomless mimosas?

I dont believe so. Also, recently, every place that I've been to that did do true bottomless anything has stopped doing it because of what they say is the TABC and it's not permitted in Texas. So, if you find a place, dont advertise it. Otherwise… Read more

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

The night started beautifully--we enjoyed espresso martinis at the bar and were then seated at one of our favorite tables. We ordered a bottle of wine and caviar and were settling in to plan the rest of our meal when the experience took a turn. A tween/teen birthday party was seated in the private room. At first, we assumed the noise was just initial excitement and would settle after a few minutes. The parents of the birthday girl were seated nearby, and when the mother got up, we expected she might ask the girls to lower their volume. Unfortunately, the opposite happened--she brought the group out into the main dining room for photos, where the noise level became even more disruptive. Another couple seated near us--at what is typically a very desirable table--lasted no more than five minutes before asking to be moved outside. Shortly after, a manager approached the private room. We anticipated they would address the noise, but instead, they greeted the party warmly and thanked them for being there, without making any effort to manage the disruption. After so many consistently great experiences, it was honestly shocking. We truly felt as though we were being punked. My boyfriend and I both have children and enjoy bringing them to nice restaurants, but part of that experience includes ensuring they understand and respect the environment. When that standard isn't upheld--especially with no support from management--it significantly detracts from the experience for everyone else.
